PulluP Entertainment, the parent organization of Focus Entertainment Publishing, experienced significant financial growth during the second quarter of the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024. The company reported record quarterly revenue of €200.1 million, representing a 331% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. For the first half of the fiscal year, total sales reached €234.3 million, an increase of 186% year-over-year.
The primary driver of this performance was the successful launch of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, which surpassed 4.5 million unique players within its first month. This title was instrumental in a 13-fold increase in revenue from new game releases, which rose from €12.6 million in the prior year to €164 million. Additionally, Train Sim World 5 contributed to these results, outperforming previous installments in the series regarding revenue and user acquisition. Back-catalog sales also saw modest growth, increasing 6% to €34.3 million, supported by ongoing content for titles such as SnowRunner and Atomic Heart.
Despite these gains, the company noted that Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden failed to meet commercial expectations, aligning with broader industry challenges regarding market saturation. Looking ahead, PulluP Entertainment anticipates strong revenue growth and a significant rebound in earnings for the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. The company, which underwent a corporate rebranding in April 2024, continues to operate through its three core divisions: Focus Entertainment Publishing, Dotemu, and its internal Development Studios.
