The Atlanta-based esports organization will launch a new expansion team, the Georgia Ghost. This collaboration aims to boost the league's presence in the southeastern United States.
The Atlanta-based esports organization Ghost Gaming has officially partnered with the Ultimate Endgamers League (UEL) to launch a new regional expansion team, the Georgia Ghost. This strategic collaboration aims to bolster the league’s presence in the southeastern United States while providing a platform for local talent development. Although the financial terms and duration of the agreement remain undisclosed, the partnership marks a significant expansion for the UEL, which now comprises 14 professional teams across various regions.
The UEL, a U.S.-based professional league established in 2019, focuses on multi-title competition, community engagement, and skills challenges across more than 20 different games. The upcoming ninth season of the league features a $1 million prize pool, with participating players receiving stipends and wellness benefits. The Georgia Ghost roster is scheduled to compete in 10 regular-season matches following the draft on July 27.
Beyond competitive play, the partnership serves a broader developmental purpose. Ghost Gaming will collaborate with the UEL to identify and utilize gaming venues throughout Georgia for training camps and skills challenges. This initiative is designed to increase the visibility of aspiring esports athletes in the region and provide them with a clearer pathway to professional competition within the UEL. By integrating regional teams into its structure, the league continues to emphasize both competitive diversity and localized community growth.
