Digital Bros, the parent company of publisher 505 Games, has demonstrated significant financial growth driven by its premium gaming portfolio. Financial reporting from the first half of the fiscal year ending December 31, 2020, highlighted that Death Stranding generated over €23 million in revenue on PC shortly after its release. During this period, Digital Bros achieved a net revenue of €80.9 million, representing a 29.5% year-over-year increase, with premium titles accounting for 91% of total earnings. Other notable contributors included Control, which reached €39.9 million in total lifetime earnings, alongside steady performances from titles such as Assetto Corsa, Ghostrunner, and Terraria.
In a separate strategic development, Digital Bros acquired the full intellectual property rights to the soulslike title Wuchang: Fallen Feathers from the Chinese studio Leenzee for approximately €4 million. This acquisition, finalized in April 2026, allows the company to retain future royalties previously owed to the developer. The move follows reports of financial instability and layoffs at Leenzee. Despite a challenging launch in July 2025, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has since improved its reception and achieved over one million copies sold, generating more than €30 million in revenue as of March 31, 2026.
These developments underscore Digital Bros' focus on expanding its premium game catalog and securing long-term control over successful intellectual properties. By leveraging established titles and acquiring rights to high-performing games, the company continues to strengthen its market position within the global gaming industry.
