But can we do a side by side on uh Butcher Hero and
XP Hero? Yeah. Yeah,
sure. Let's do that.
Butcher Hero looked up 32% ad revenue, but XP Hero is way more ad revenue.
That's a giant candle right there. Yeah.
Yeah. Hero is really really killing it. Again, we can have your active users thing which will paint a different picture, but it's actually
that dice [music] with the two and a half gamers. The midnight crew talking UA adverts [music] and game design too. Mat Felix Shak bringing the insight. We're rocking those vibes till the early day [music] master eyes on the prize tracking data through the cyerspace skies. Felix stacks colors like a wizard in disguise. Jack lift us to the highest. Two and a half gamers talking [music] smack. Slow hockey thick got your back. Ads are beautiful. They light the way. [music] Click it fast. Don't delay. Uh-huh.
[music] Uh-huh. Aha. Ah. Ah. [music] Ah. Most mobile games leave serious revenue on the table. It's almost never the game. It's live ops and game ops. Kinoa is the AI operating system for mobile game operations. Flows, live segments, inner messages, push notifications, AB testing, all in one place. Real time run by the operators who actually own the numbers. No dev tickets. K first pulled plus 43% Arabdo. Play studios plus 31% revenue on Tetris block party. Same players, more revenue integrated in ours. That's Kinoa. I personally invested as well. Thank you very much for sponsoring this episode.
Oh, I already know this is going to be a great episode. Like, I love this game. It was great. This is fun.
I don't think so, man. I don't I don't I don't believe anything you say. Did he Did he even play it?
No ads, man. What do you think?
Exactly. So many paradise for Felix.
That's true. So I mean yeah we also saw the presentation by mean drawing in China for China. So that's why we said okay you know it's it's actually a very interesting case and we are talking about X hero from Super and my name is Merich Felix XP what
XP you said it weird right he said it weird it's like cool how [laughter] did you say it
yeah and since we are [ __ ] uh
what was it called English what was it called
English teacher Mr. Mr. You go my life. Come on. Of course. I can call you whatever I want.
We can start speaking slow. Why?
Yeah, you can start speak. Of course speaking English to the world. Yeah. All right. Let's do some slow.
XP hero. Okay.
XP hero is butcher hero with better on boarding.
Exactly.
It's but it reminds me butcher hero quite a lot. I'm playing Bach hero a lot and we'll talk about it in the comparison. But let's now focus on XP hero.
Okay, I'm going to ask you guys what after Yakob is done with his overview and just think about the answer. O go over or under 35 rewarded ad placements. How many I counted?
Over.
Over
over this is Korea. Of course it's over 35.
See one's right there.
Yeah. Let's see. So, as you see, auto hunting is already kind of taking control of my character because
I was thinking about you all the time. Like, oh my god, you you have it on your [ __ ] emulator and you just do other stuff.
Yeah. What's your levels, by the way?
Don't ask. I don't have emulator.
Yeah. By the way, this is this was my setup. I was like literally like one screen, one screen on Bach Hero and that
was it.
My god. Like, you're cheater. By the way, like this category, it needs its own subgenre definition because this is in hacken slash on sensor tower. It doesn't make any sense. Like I'm sorry,
hacken slash.
Yeah, I'll show you the chart.
The last time I heard hacken slash was when I tried bank account. I tried to open a bank account in Germany and they asked if I played if I like worked in slasher games.
I'm like,
slasher games? What's that screen?
I have no idea. I was I had to look it I had to look it up. It's a It was a big thing in Germany in the '9s. like, yeah.
Anyway, so we have XP Hero and as you if you watch the butcher hero episode, this is similar to something like Alien Invasion games where you [snorts] have a character that slowly grows in power forever. And you have these other characters in the vicinity that you kill and you get stats for them. In this case, they switch it a little bit. You get money and you upgrade stuff for it.
In alien invasion you get most a lot of times stats directly or meat. But here again you have this different thing. The thing that bacher hero didn't had and they still kept it here from early invasion is this [ __ ] annoying you know capacity cargo thing if you need to fill
that's the limiting factor right so like you actually have to keep playing
[ __ ] monetized. It's monetized here. Why? Because if I look at the map which is giant basically and I go to one end to the other end of the map and again fill up my capacity I need to go back but wait
you can go through return tickets.
Yes.
And you need to buy them. So yeah they're monetizing convenience very effectively and and the chests by the [snorts] way like who thought of that? Like okay
wait you think is a bad idea or a good idea or even
great idea. It's just like
So yeah, we go see.
Wait, do you like the game or not? I can't tell.
Yes, I like it. I like it. That's why I can't tell.
Yeah. Yeah,
man. What's your level? I'm level 15.
I'm 21, man. I'm 21.
Takes some time to get where I go.
Yeah, that's true. But you can play on your second monitor and just cheat.
Otherwise, I would be dead because
Yeah. Yeah.
I was like, "Okay, I'll watch all those placements that you want me to watch. I'll do it. Okay, I'll do it." But once they start throwing in the interstitials, I was like,
"No,
no." Yeah.
And it's really aggressive as well. Like basically the second you stop watching rewarded ads, the interstitials just come in because they have it on a cool down timer tied to when you watch a rewarded.
And how like what's the cool down on that? Actually
uh I counted like sometimes 60 sometimes 90 seconds but it's like it's really aggressive like aggressive. Oh my god. Like that's
look at this. You know what will happen? I will go into the camp and the moment I arrive in some menu meaning that I step on a building it throws an interstitial check.
Yeah.
Go here and then I want to open the
chest.
Ah okay. I didn't say anything.
So the moment they know you stop the game because you stop in some UI menu. Bam. Interstial in your face
just to basically stay on the good side of the app stores, right? So you're not like interrupting gameplay. Yeah,
they don't want you to like again directly go against you when you are doing you know fighting something mobs. But uh again I go out 60cond timer I go back bam then it goes. So that's there and this happens something around level 20 or 20 something I don't know which it's not before. Well, no. I I didn't see it before because I
they do some kind of segmentation on it because basically like there's ads at different time points, I think, because of how many reviews are complaining about ads from different countries
if you look at it on sensor tower. So, I'm sure they do something.
They are splitting users by ad rate. Each tier needs a different lever.
Presentation from China, Mr. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They're very well. Well worth
they have they know what they're doing. Yeah, this is mainly ad company not not thing. The the other thing that as Felix said like this is basically bach her on steroids because it has so much content in it. Like bio struggles from the fact that they don't have that in this [ __ ] ton of content like literally [ __ ] ton. For instance, they have their gacha where again it's mutation of legend of mushroom.
Yes. where you have the, you know, upgrading ga that you need to still spend money on and do stuff.
But on top of it, if you go to the shop, they actually have the pretty much original chest system from habies template where you have these
promotion chest, sier gear chest, where you have like wish list and stuff like that. It's exactly the same thing. And then it all boils down and it needs to be merged in your inventory. So again,
merch is nice though because you don't
actually have to do it.
Yeah. Yeah. Of course. The other interesting setup that they have is that they just follow one vector because you see that I'm holding actually four weapons.
Yeah.
There's no armor, there's no rings, there no what what what it's just like damage and which give you [ __ ] ton of damage. That's it. there's heroes that uh you need to upgrade and they give you like you can pick one but and this is very important but if you go to the endame feature of the game which is basically these boss raids uh lo and behold what's happening here that if I'm going now against these bosses I'm actually bringing multiple heroes with me
so if I go here so
you have to upgrade them all
exactly that's like See, so I go against this guy and I select my team.
Oh,
and in my team again, I if I unlock higher difficulties, I need to upgrade all the heroes, so on so forth. So
very nice pressure mechanisms for you to upgrade all the [ __ ]
for them. And each hero, by the way, can only own one weapon of your thing. So not only upgrade all the weapons, not upgrade also all the heroes. So, would you say this is as deep as the Mariana's Trench in terms of
It's not as deep. It's like for a hybrid casual idle RPG thing, it's quite deep. Yes, it's it's definitely like Bacher Hero has very slow on boarding of these progression layers. These guys just throw them at you and like this this took me like around a week to get here,
but still it's it's very deep. They have the very nice system of blessings from Legend of Slime. It's literally one to one. We seen the system. This is like a staple of all of these
idle heavy adbased RPGs. Like it's it's perfect pretty much. [snorts] Then they have the quest system here. They have this very nice PvP system where those are like intrusions and like enemy players are going against you and then you go against them and if you see
this like very high power level, you don't even click on it because why won't you, you know, want to get your ass kicked. Uh then they have the usual liveop stuff with like again typical Asian game with these like day seven events, new user events, festival events or whatn not like very very nice on boarding full feature set there. Then they have some like weekly attendance and like all these other systems map by the way this is just one map. If we continue there's chapter two, there's chapter three actually chapter four coming in. So it like [ __ ] ton of stuff. weapons themselves. If you look at them, sorry, where was it? Yeah, dictionary. This is great that they have the dictionary. If you look at the weapons, you see that they're going nicely in a 3 to one pattern of rarities, ending with something like eternal. So again, do your math how many copies of specific weapon you still need to get in order to get somewhere. Monsters are just there to kind of give you resources. If you
repeatedly kill them, they give you more. These are NPCs, but monsters if you repeatedly kill them, they give you just more hard currency.
More gems.
Yeah. So, that's there. Gems are actually easy to get. They're not that hard to get. Again, you spend them mainly on buying the chests here. This one is for heroes, by the way, because they not only have the chest gacha, they also have the Where was it? No, this is the Did Did I missed it already? Exchange. Not here. Did it really went away? Don't tell me it went away. Uh, okay. I cannot show you. So, there was an event here that was pretty much like summoning exclusive heroes. There was this laser guy and the girl. I think they are here. I can show you at least here. Yeah, this guy. So, this guy, you could summon him and this girl, you could summon her from from the event. Again, noble sources again because we don't have the gacha. So that's there as
I said pretty deep and main thing to kind of go around is again
tower as well. You forgot the tower.
Which? Oh yeah, tower. Tower is like a the typical kind of endless tower mechanic of you going against higher and higher bosses. Lots of ads if you run out of tickets.
This is the probably the most interstitials I think because they show the tweet each when you basically pass a floor.
Yeah. Yeah. Because the thing is quite impactful. So, if I kill the guy here, and again, it's just like that in a few seconds. They're actually not doubling. They're tripling the resources if I can get it right. Yeah. Goodbye. And there we go. And we get See,
yeah.
Times three, five times a day. So, that's pretty good. The other thing is that they have this uh random chest popup thing that sometimes pops on your map because not only we pops one at placements in your face constantly like from Alien Invasion, there's literally a chest that you need to walk to that will
give you either free small resources or big normal resources that are again doubled or tripled. If you watch,
can you just read out the list of the 47 rewarded ad placements I counted? So, I read from my notes. 47 rewarded ad placements. revive bonus, level up bonus, blessing buff uh vampiric, blessing buff expansion, blessing blessing buff growth uh currency top ups from the HUD like on the main icon, gold icon, gem icon, blue stone icon, elixir icon, orb, orb gem in the shop, shop item, uh shop refresh, shop for gold, uh blue stone shop, elixir shop, scroll shop, orb chest two times rare chest box, chest open, open gifts gift box time reduce uh cut chest timer and then basically in the boss raid is the tower ticket tower victory bonus PVP ticket
PVP bonus in invasion recharge ticket boss raid shop refresh and there's a bunch of more so yeah there's there's a lot
which one do you think is earning the most money though
the HUD one for sure a HUD one that pops up
yeah one hot one for sure It's right when you're in a little bit of pain.
The one on the left left side. Yeah.
Scale. That's the most important thing. It scales a lot.
Yeah. With the with the coins, gems, and the
like the currencies that you need for upgrade. Those are upgrade because main thing in this game is this menu actually.
Yeah.
Which is the upgrade menu of like all these other things. Then you have these special like which is basically the same upgrades with percentages basically. And you just need these different currencies like these pearl orbs and fire orbs. And then again, you have your weapons and that's it. Like you're just upgrading stuff like there's no tomorrow and it scales pretty high. And you know I'm now what picking in 40k if I go to the last
room and like kill stuff there and go there takes me around like what like 1 minute, 2 minutes and then the popups for 60k right in your face. Yeah,
the problem is that these days to get through all the ads is just extremely painful because it's just like some stupid playables that you need seven clicks to finish or these one in three rewarded ads that you need to X X and only after that you get like Yeah, this is this is like this is a beautiful ad that only has a 30-cond timer like
Yeah.
And it's an interstitial.
Yeah. Yeah. But basically, oh, I've been uh I've been to d deep as well on people complaining in one game I manage. And basically, it's a new I'm not going to say the network, but basically, you can probably guess who it is, but basically they've been experimenting with a new format template where you have to download the game to exit the ad.
No. [laughter]
What the [ __ ]
Oh, the systems were furious. I had to deal with it, man. This is some Black
Mirror [ __ ] Oh my god.
[sighs]
Please, no. No way.
It's my day today. Like, literally.
Oh, we're just running an experiment. Oh, I'm sorry you don't like our templates. No, I [ __ ] hate your templates. What are you doing?
I don't remember this, but like long gone are the good old days of me just watching something for 30 seconds and then clicking X once.
No, no, no, no.
This never happens. This never happens. You're being selfish.
Yeah,
I'm I'm not being selfish. It's just like it's it's it's the worst, man. Like I I don't understand this. Anyway, between these other things, just comparing it to Bacher Hero, Bacher Hero seems much less you are in control and what is happening and therefore is much more like hard to on board.
I also love the artwork so much.
The artwork is really nice. But they have the the ad the one that pops up here on critical by the way, which these guys don't have. This perfect because it
can crit like the reward can be times two which is very very appealing in batch hero. But the other thing I wanted to say that most of the ads that I see in bach her especially from the start of the day are these like one in three which is like yeah I need to play a different game in between because just so much wasted time. I'm sorry.
If it's one in three it's like what? Like it's actually 3 minutes.
Yeah.
Butcher here didn't have any interstitials either right? So like
no we don't have interstitial which I really like because again I feel I am in control. Don't watch the ads I don't need to watch this here. You don't watch the ads we'll make you watch the ads and you'll thank us later.
Well
can you let me talk about the ads just the numbers but can we do a sidebyside on uh butcher hero and
her tower? Yeah. Yeah.
But hero I looked up 32% ad revenue but XP here is way more ad revenue. O
that's a giant candle right there. Yeah,
hero is really really killing it. Again, we can have your active users thing which will paint a different picture, but it's actually
it's not that far against each other if you want to see this.
Wow.
So 53% ad revenue.
Boom.
53% ad revenue XP hero.
Yeah. Yeah. So 85k a day on ads at least now if the DAU is correct. So yeah double that. So it's on 200k a day.
200.
But I probably think that given what we've seen with sensor tower, right? This is probably going to be like 400k a day.
Most probably
like in total. So 200 on AP and then another 200 on apps because probably the numbers are off.
They're still at alltime high downloads like 50k a day which is
I think it's I think it's double that like at least in reality. trying I'm trying to find if there is anything in the in the presentation but I don't think so.
Yeah. And they have pretty pristine traffic there. You see that?
Same on Butcher here, right? It was
really pristine traffic. Like it was the ones you want, you know?
I can I can double check. Um this needs to go out. Um
do you think they XP Hero like they saw butcher hero or do you think it was already in the works? Uh no no no if I understand we talk about this for quite some time and super um if I understand they were playing with the idea. Yeah. You see
yeah for a longer time.
Yeah.
Yeah. They were playing with the alien invasion idea for quite some time if I remember. They had like few other games with this this setup. So yeah I I remember this game from last year. We talk about it for sure on some Sonar episode. So, but your hero is different definitely. But again, it's their alien invasion core like
they're just continuing. They are the originator of that core.
So, they know what they're doing.
So, let's do but again back to XP hero because this is the like episode here.
Yeah, looks great. This is the hybrid
RPG that I want to see here. And again, this is the problem that I have with this that if we go into batcher hero game and XP hero game, one is under idler.
Yeah. which like really
zero cents.
So it's like there with like pizza already and uh revenue wise it will be what like idle obelisk miner the tower.
Okay.
Golden goblins. Yeah. So just like it's an idol RPG and same goes for Bacher Hero. Like you see the core looks literally the same. And this
hacken slash what is hacken slash?
Yeah I'll show you what's hacken slash. Hacken Slash is something that you never heard about because hacken slash are those games that are pretty much giant and you don't play them like Zone Zero. Your favorite
your favorite VRC shop or Bleach Soul Resonance Solo Leveling My Future.
You know what? I'm I'm going to make a I'm going to make a hacken slash. I'm
going to set it. It's going to be a Polaroid camera store set in 1972 in Southern California. And I'm a This is a hacken slash game. This is a hacken slash game. Like it's this giant battlers that looks like Street Fighter and you hack the [ __ ] out of people. This is hacken slash. You don't grow stats like you know apples on trees. Yeah.
And again 90% of these games are branded like
Yeah. Yeah.
Because they need IPs to work. You cannot just make a random game.
All right. Mate, blow us away with some Korean creators.
Random. I will start in in this one which is this tab and just tell me what you see besides all the stats. But here we go. And oh
forex and
let's look at Yeah, look at look at the screenshots. Yeah, look at the screen.
Come on. And this is this is pretty much their UA trick. I've been playing this playable for a long time and we touched this playable in I think playable trends in June.
So I told my boss I made a playable [music] app with Playable Maker
and he said to me, "What language did you code it in?" And I said, "I don't know. With Playable Maker, all you [music] do is drag, drop, click, and it does it all for you." So again, he said, "What language [music] did you make in?" And I went, "I don't know, English." At the end of the day, as long as a payable maker does it all for you, [music] why do you care? It's just like magic.
So, two months ago, and we talked about it for 30 minutes. So, if you want to know, like go there. It's amazing. It has some has it something with the game like connected? Not really. Maybe besides the the hero, the XP hero maybe. That's the only thing. And then you are maybe building few well few buildings at
the very beginning. That's the only connection but like oh my god like it's like there's zero tower defense
and wow I'm blown away by the creatives.
Yes. Yes. I will go here.
The hubris.
Yeah. I will go here and start with with pretty much this one. But keep in mind, you know, Supercent was the company that was running Gucci logos, Versace logos, Nike logos in pizza, right?
But just wait a second. Wait a second and read what they're talking about. Tell me your secret watch ads. No, there are no ads. Really? Mysterious. Like really, there are no ads. Like I I would say
Click on the other one. Click on the other one. Not this one. Click on the
You mean the this one?
The kickshot one. Yes, this is the kickshot one. It is even better. Can you watch ads?
I'm sorry. [laughter]
This exper has no ads. Like there's literally no ads. Like come on. How can you even say this? Like can you imagine?
Like I would be so pissed. Especially after seeing
when the interstitials kicks in.
Yeah. Yeah. After seeing like 7,000 interstitials in your face like every 60 seconds. Like what are you talking about? But oh my god. Like this is this is amazing. Literally. And it's it's a combination of idle lumber and kingshot and all the forex kind of things. Even now raid rush. This is pretty much raid rush.
You seen the dark war one? It's one to one.
No, I mean like we can we can check like what's with actually here.
You remember my my trench code girl? Yes.
Yeah. Yeah. Of course.
They stole her.
Nice. I mean what is interesting though uh with all these creatives it's pretty much the the channel mix which is Apploving and Mint integral mainly but they are running all the other channels like Facebook I've seen like their creatives like so many time Moloco and Unity and Google and pretty much like all the big
all the big channels. So let's do a playable if we can. Yes we can. Oh yeah yeah yeah. Hello. Okay, whatever. Ah, kill die. So, this is pretty much kingshot or whatever like I mean if you close if you go if you close your eyes then maybe
maybe it could be but it's still okay. You know what it is? It's not king. It's um it's closer to what Kingdom Guard was doing a long time ago because you you are building pretty much the same thing in
very long time ago.
Yeah. But see, they're trying to kill your furnace or whatever is this and it's just like there's no damage literally not
even even this. Yeah, it's immune. So,
there's just that that's that's that. And let's see. This is quite new, so we definitely didn't talk about it on the on the playable episode.
because it's kind of growing lately on on mint integral. Let's see. Yeah. Okay. So, now you see I mean this is white survival.
Yes, of course.
They have all the forex stuff. But you know why it works?
Because it's an idol RPG. All the games are an idol RPG.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. Yeah. Exactly. That's that's that's what their their like expertise is like. It's
so now they actually somebody finally made a [ __ ] idol RPG and took all the best creatives from all top idol RPGs on the market.
Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Now they can they can sto steal all their all the creatives for forex guys. And I mean I mean pretty much like they already
all the Forex formats. I'm just looking.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They have all of them.
Like go go go through them, man. Like
Yeah.
You see them?
Yeah. Of course. See? Okay. Let's see. This is the stuff. But wait, it's even it's so
Oh, this is this is Kingshot.
Yeah, this is Kingshot. But still like we have [snorts] this. Okay, see this is
the Forex stuff as well. This I love this one game with no ads obviously.
Can Can I have the screen for a second? I'll show you already.
So it's literally one to one stolen one to one with the exact same visual everything. So you remember this one? Yeah, of course. That's the That's the one from Dark One to one. Same machine. Same. Yeah. Everything. Yes. Walks out and then goes into a jeep if I understand. Oh, okay. So, they cut it down.
So, that's there. Then they have the Where was it?
On the right hand side. There was
this one.
Yes.
You know what this is?
Are we saying this is a bad thing or a good thing that they're doing?
This is a good thing because Forex creator Just wanted to clarify for the listeners. Right. Yeah. This is
this is exactly from Dark World War. Like this is exactly there.
One to one.
One to one. One to one.
It's all like see what he's doing there. It's one to one.
Yeah. Exactly.
And why is this a good thing? Because
Forex already stole it from Idol RPG and they just
stealing it back.
Steal it. Yeah. Stealing it back. And the good thing is like they already like everybody in Forex already kind of created or thought about all of these concepts. So they're like, "Okay, you know what? Like let's do this because this works. Let's do this." Just cherrypicking the best creatives that they
Exactly. You see this?
Yeah, exactly. I know
this [ __ ] one to one Kingshot,
which is great. Come on. Exactly. That was I was I was going there. I was going there.
This is so good. like again continue click on [ __ ]
like they're stealing everything one to one.
Yes, of course they are.
I'm glad we clarified that it's not a problem. It's just clever.
Yeah. Like why clever?
Yeah,
it's very clever because it fits their game because they finally made the game
that everybody is robbing of which the idol RPG genre got robbed by Forex.
See, I mean even this
Yes, of course. the same. This is just tile survive pretty much or golden goblins like it's all like
or even outpost.
Yeah, it's just the same thing
also meat kind of from alien invasion.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Here. Top heroes. Thank you very much for
everything. Yeah, that's top heroes.
Top heroes.
Exactly. Top heroes.
Yeah.

I can I can already see the prompt, man. It's like they took somebody else creative and replace the main character with this yellow guy.
Yeah. I mean, you can do it in Hicksfield. I mean, or or any other like there's like you can just just swap the the the main character and that's it.
And you you see you see the the watermark here.
Mhm.
Just very light. Very where here
XP hero.
XP hero. Yes. Amazing. It's all good. Let's see. Hello. A Yes.
Lego.
Lego.
Lego. Okay.
Of course.
That's nice. and
idle lumber.
Idle iron.
Yes. [laughter] So I was I was looking through all of this. I was like, "Oh my god, like this is such a great stuff." And also they have this in the first [ __ ] screenshot.
So it works because he's like, "Oh, wait a second." Like, you see this? Of course. Hello, Miss AI.
AI influencer.
No ads at all. Of course, no ads. There's no ads,
man. But like this game telling you it has no ads. This has to be the biggest.
Yeah. The biggest lie of this year. Oh my god. Like Jesus Christ. All the
47 ad placement.
Oh yeah. Exactly.
47 reward ad placements plus the interstitials on top, right? Like ad revenue, right? Like
man like only thing which is which is missing is like banners which are obviously dead but still like it's oh my god
they won't have banners. Also they have offer wall or something which
yeah which they had in the in some of
the menus like hey you know you want to do this and it's like oh [ __ ] download these games like oh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa wait a second [laughter] wait a second I don't want to do this oh let's see let's just play this
by the way what would you do m if you were them like how would you choose the best ones like you look at their impression chair or download volume or like how do you choose the best ones
like like you're robbing literally dark war so what which one you choose Well, definitely the ones that we we covered on the podcast because those were the one that are quite interesting plus they are working because they have [ __ ] ton of impressions as well.
But what what would be like as a surface level observer metric that you would follow impression share?
Yeah, impression share and then something that's scaling recently like uh we saw on this first play
like you create a filter or what?
Yeah, look so this is pretty pretty good. I would look at something like this in the last 30 days maybe
and then then start copying that also
you need because they have like,300
creatives in the last three days. If we could look at like new ones it's 700 which is pretty solid and this is also you know
50k downloads is great. Yeah, this also something which is why that's survival and at this point when you are yeah you have like 50k downloads a day like you need to pretty much
the super game the idle lumber or this is their own I think with the elevator there
I mean like I saw it in the in white survival and all the other forex games so yeah I mean even there like they have their own game by the games by the way so they know what they're what what's working as well
but just doing this just this This this is insane and it's just something that you see works and you see it quite quite often during the day on on on my or I see it quite often during the day on my Facebook. So it means yeah it has lot of different impressions. So that mean I
would go for that also in these cases I I've seen a lot of stuff uh in terms of the the numbers and games and they have [ __ ] ton of games already. Come on man. So they know they have like that kind of sense of what can work quite well because they tested it maybe on on their other games. So I can't tell you like exactly like oh if this has thou 10,000 impressions in last three days like this is it. But you see those patterns already.
Mhm.
Like I said like okay something yeah exactly like okay so this is scaling now and I know all these all the all these games like they have all these laurels and whatnot like let's try that. Let's let's put multiple different elements in the creative. Oh my god.
So bad AI.
I It doesn't matter, man. Also, all of the creatives like it's more than 40 seconds always. And so many different concepts. This is how Okay, this one is 24, but okay, whatever.
But this is kind of nice. It reminds me Archer a little bit.
Like how how they went like full dark war.
Yeah. And also by the way those games that you show there like those like different there's actually top heroes.
Yeah, I saw. Yeah, I told you this is top heroes as well. No.
Yeah,
let's see. Or b hero.
So they pretty much robbed all the top AI.
Yeah.
Oh wow. They have [ __ ] smashfest.
Show me.
Yes.
Show me the screen.
Okay. Wait, wait, wait. Look. This is This is pretty much top
Yeah, this is top heroes.
This is top heroes. So there you go. There you go.
I can't stop laughing at this.
What What creative trends? What creative like styles are you guys doing?
Oh, nice. That's really clever.
Look, this is what I said in the in the latest uh playable trends. Like Smashfest is the [ __ ] that everybody's talking about and everybody's building like why would you not do
do a creative? Yeah,
exactly. It's almost like jig solitary back in
the days style goblins. [laughter] Oh man, this is great.
Something new.
This is [snorts] all AI. This
all exactly all AI.
All AI. It's all AI.
This is amazing what these guys are doing. Like again, top heroes stuff.
Top heroes. Yeah.
With their like completely new games.
Oh, this is this No, this is Dao. No, come on.
Oh, really?
Kind of.
Kind of.
It reminds me Dao.
Yeah. Yeah, could be. But they have so much of this stuff.
Yeah. And
this one again can lot of
let's stop heroes. Let's stop heroes because again it goes into
Yeah. into this Yeah. style game.
Yeah.
And this is how we do stuff. I mean obviously we can we can debate if all of all of these are actually effective. But I mean if you're scaling like this, right?
Yeah.
It is quantity. I mean quantity and you know diversity as well like you need so many So many. Yeah. So many different
creatives and children. Oh, I love this
again. One of the most solid game reviews we've done in a long time.
But what I can everything
Yes. But all these like AI different stuff which are quite far from the game. Again, I see a low very low CPI but also super low game KPIs as well. So I mean there has to be a balance at least something. There has to be but this still scaling up so it seems
Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. I mean again like it's
Let's see who wins. Butcher Hero or XP Hero. I would
like really looking forward to review radar on this.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. But I mean
who do you think then?
I think Butcher Hero is going to win.
Why?
Because it has.
No, but I think the the interstitials here is going to do it more harm than good on retention.
Yeah, [snorts] that's fair.
Yeah, fair enough. Cuz if you want to have like there's some pretty pissed off reviews like
Yeah, I got pissed off, man. I really love the game, but once they start pumping it so much, especially
Yeah, let me just, you know, let me just uh clean my tears with like $500 euro bills or whatever. Come on, man. Like, who gives a [ __ ] Seriously. I mean, obviously I I would stop playing as well, but
No, no, no. I'm saying I'm saying basically like I think Buter is going to win and be the larger game in 6 months.
Yeah, thanks to thanks to no interstitials. Okay, fair enough. Yeah,
because you can always buy no ads back, which by the way is evil because it's only for 30 days.
Yeah,
it's only for 30 days.
[ __ ] only for 30 days.
Greed.
Yes, it's only for 30 days.
So, it's extreme greed. I can hear Gordon Gekcko laughing.
Yeah, it's it's 30 days.
But look, I mean look, do you think like people actually play this for more than 30 days? Like if you know if you want if
Yeah. Do we have another RPG?
I guarantee you like the day retention is going to be super high like above.
I don't I don't believe that man.
Sure, man.
Butcher Hero had really good day 60 retention. I remember that when we checked.
Let me check.
Really?
We can we can put them against.
Yeah, we can. Yeah, let's check. Let's check. So, turn retention and we want her.
Oh, [ __ ] same. Day 160. Oh my god.
No, no, [snorts] no, no, man. Bacher Hero, keep in mind is [ __ ] hard on boarding.
Yeah. Yeah.
You don't know what you're doing and you're just at some point you're stuck.
Kill everything.
Go for go for June rather than July because we have day 30 like 4%.
Yeah, but it will be the same.
When was the update on Butcher Hero? Just now.
Just now.
Yeah. Ad man, this is what I would expect. Literally like very very high.
I don't trust these numbers at all though. Like this could just be like
pulled out of thin air.
Yeah,
sure. But this is exactly what I would expect like very good like first day seven. So that's why you just throwing much better. Much better.
Yeah. But that's why you throw the interstitials very early. So you know until day 30 like they [ __ ] churn. and you earn all the money on the first 30 days.
I know what you mean, but Bach Hero is playing the long-term game here.
Yeah. Also, I can tell you from from the notes on from the presentation,
it's like 20% of payers may of 20 20% of users 90% of revenue. Did anyone say web revenue? Oh yeah. This episode is brought to you by Fastpring, the no drama D2C partner that's been scaling with mobile publishers for over 20 years. They're fast growing, profitable, and seriously

Fastprint.gg. Hello, Fastprint. Thank you very much, guys, for sponsoring this episode. Inapp revenue,
of course. It's like 10% is responsible for 80%. That's that's the usual mark in freeto play.
So 40 for anything between 30 to 46% of active users leave be before seeing a single ad.
How many?
Almost 40%.
Almost 40% which means interstitial is something like level 15 20 first time which is 40% lead by that.
Okay.
Maybe
that's here the day two retention I think.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. which is still pretty strong.
Yeah.
Anyway, yep, this is this was amazing. Yeah, this was amazing.
Thank you very much, guys, for listening and also Super for making a great game and making a lot of money
and going finally midcore.
Yes, we need more midcore games.
Yeah,
we need more midcore games and let's oops. Have a good night. Bye-bye. See you. See you later.
Please.
Yeah, see you later. No.

XP Hero, an idle RPG developed by Supercent, represents a highly aggressive approach to mobile game monetization, currently generating an estimated $400,000 in daily revenue. The game builds upon the core mechanics of titles like Alien Invasion by integrating complex progression systems, including gacha chests, boss raids, and blessing mechanics. Despite marketing itself to potential players as a no-ads experience, the title relies heavily on a dense ecosystem of 47 distinct rewarded ad placements and frequent interstitial ads triggered by 60-to-90-second cooldowns. Ad revenue currently accounts for approximately 53% of the game’s total earnings, highlighting a strategy that prioritizes immediate monetization over long-term user retention.
The game’s user acquisition strategy is defined by a high-volume, AI-driven creative process that produces over 1,300 assets in a three-day cycle. This approach involves repurposing successful concepts from 4X strategy games, effectively reclaiming mechanics that were originally derived from the idle RPG genre. By flooding the market with these assets, the developers aim to capture a broad audience quickly, which is essential given the industry reality that nearly 40% of players churn before encountering their first interstitial ad.
Ultimately, the financial success of XP Hero is driven by a small cohort of high-value users, as data indicates that roughly 20% of the player base generates 90% of total revenue. While this model is highly effective at capturing short-term gains within the critical first 30 days of gameplay, analysts suggest that the intrusive nature of the ad placements and the disconnect between marketing claims and the actual user experience may undermine the game's long-term viability and player loyalty compared to less aggressive competitors.
