$15 million in a day.
Yes. Yes. So, so see this is the thing I'm I'm I'm talking about. Yeah. So, this is the starting revenues of those games.
Like 3 days after launch, Hong Kong was doing 12 mil a day. Mhm. Mhm. Mhm. Yeah. I'm not saying this game supposed to do the same revenue. I'm just saying it doesn't have the engine for it. Even if it wanted [music] chasing the sky with the two and [music] a half gamers, the midnight crew talking u mate Felix bringing the insight. We're rocking those [music] vibes till the early daylight master on the prize tracking data through the cyerspace skies. Felix stacks colors like a wizard [music] in disguise. Jacks lift us to the highest.
Two and a half gamers talking smack. Slow hockey sick. Got your back. Ads are beautiful. They like the way. [music] Click it fast. Don't delay. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. [music] Ah. Ah. Ah. [music] Ah. Hello. [laughter] Hello everybody. Welcome to another episode of Tune Enough Gamers. We're doing something slightly different than usual. Maybe. Well, not really. Actually, not really. We're talking about the game. And my name is Merich.
I'm Felix Bro. We are your hosts.
Woohoo. That is correct. We're talking about animal. And why I'm talking about this as a as something slightly different because it's a mobile game and PC game and a console console game. And
you mean crossplatform game?
Crossplatform. Yes. Exactly. Different words. Yeah. Just a crossplatform game.
Different words, same meaning.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. And we don't usually talk about crossplatform games. Mr. Yakup.
We do. We talk about mobile games. Mobile games mainly.
Problem is then we have Steam. This is mainly a mobile studio doing a cobot for game. We usually talk about those which means Mihoyo and then these guys and that's it.
That's it. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. And the studio is called Paw Print Studio in Yeah. They're based in China and they were established in August 2023. And how this game is and why is this interesting is published by Fun Plus. It's totally different game than their bread and butter games.
Yeah. And if you don't know T plus while this [ __ ] squirrel loads the seven
loading screen and seven update screen.
Well, it's pre-warming shaders. What are you talking about?
Yeah. Yeah. So, this is Tlas with their [snorts]
Oh, good old days.
Prime of State of Survival and Guns and Glory.
Good old days. Now it's driven by T. I'll survive another Forex.
You found it.
Kill the sound here because I'm hear anything.
We can't we can't hear it. So
I hear too much. That's the problem. Not my problem.
Yeah, exactly.
Give me a second. Uh,
no, no, no, no, no, no.
Settings.
Master volume. Goodbye.
Now, this is amazing, right?
Okay, so let me
groundbreaking. Yeah, it will be groundbreaking. But let me finish the numbers. So funlus for those who don't know these are the forex OGs. If we understand correctly, for instance, lots of century team RXF fun plus. So they are very very well known in China. It's one of those OG people that set up their shop in the Chinese forex street.
If you know the street that everybody in China lives in and yeah, they kind of went downhill from Corona. And yeah, they are from Corona from you know not adapting quickly to the new wave of games model of Forex which is driven by games they they missed right or what
let me just say they didn't jump fast enough because they jumped just with the tile survive which is basically dark war
and that peaked uh in March this year at something like 400k a day and it seems it's going down because keep in mind that currently there's a little bit of a new war on the forex space because century is launching their two new games which is Top Force and Lord Rush which are both scaling simultaneously from the exact same on simultaneous creatives. And [snorts] then in the meantime, I it
seems Rivergame is trying to claw back some of their market share with some new games because they had some problems with their account and stuff in China as we learned. And 37 Entertainment guys are not sleeping on this. And not only Last Asylum, but few of their other games are also scaling up. So Forex is heating up again. Let me just say that.
What do you mean again? like new games.
Would you say it's getting hot in here? So hot that you need to take off all your clothes.
I'm just saying there's new games being pumped up and not just a UA on the old games being pretty much whatever.
Yeah.
Anyway,
too hot.
Fan Plus handle.
Fan Plus decides to flip the table and invest in this
your table. [laughter]
Yes. Invest in this beautiful, beautiful game
which is called Animo. And it's basically a mix of PAL world, mix of uh Genshin Impact and mix of what was the
latest one
simulator. [laughter]
Yes. Holland. Exactly. Where they make fragrances here. There's literally
Lavender Field.
Yeah, Lavender Field.
Amazing. Oh my god. Like
Pokemon. Sorry. Pokemon.
Pokemon. So, who's this little Dutch boy?
This little Dutch boy. That's me. And I can twine with some of my animals and be for instance this cute bird and then go around in the fields and so on. I don't Yeah, I can fly.
Yeah. So, how this thing works and what are we looking at? So, this is a monster collector game in lavender field of course. Let me if I can get rid of lavender field purple color.
Let me just go here. Okay, enough of the fields. Yeah. So,
you are here in this world which literally looks like Gcin impact. It's very very similar. So, open world. Uh,
it's like Wait, no, no, no. This looks
like Bride Witcher.
What?
I just wanted to see your face.
Okay, enough of
Sorry. It's like
what the [ __ ] is he talking about? The structure of the world is literally Genshining style when you have these teleports, objectives, level areas as you see here, different level areas for different level ranges, so on so forth, yada yada yada. So that's
Where's the Pokemon version of this game? That'd be great.
What do you mean? This is the Pokemon version of this game.
Guys, please speak when Yeah, let him finish because sorry.
So confusing this. We have our Pokémon. They're called Animo. We can go and we can catch these guys if we want. For instance, this guy. We have like 50% chance. The game is built actually around this whole thing that guys that are sleeping are better catch. So, you ambush them in their sleep and so on so forth. But I don't see anyone sleeping
here, which would give us literally like 100% chance to to buy uh to catch. But for instance, let me catch this. Okay, this guy maybe we catch him then there's some kind of a chance similarly a shaking Pokeball. Bam. And we called him. That's it. Level 10 iris or something. Uh if we go to our inventory and here we are. If we go to our inventory and check the guys that we have. Oh, sorry. This is just items.
You collect animals like Pokémon.
Uh yes. So this is character. Sorry, where we are?
Tell me how many hours did you did you spend on customization of your character? It's like one to one you.
No, three seconds.
No, no, no. This character character has been missing leg day. I can tell that much.
Yeah, sure. Anyway, you can equip four of these uh and then you have others in this kind of a Pokedex style thing. The
important things about these is that
flamer flamer. Is that the growth or whatever? Like it's just like seriously
it's a Pokemon, right?
Yeah, it's like [clears throat] all Pokemon. Like [ __ ] hell. [laughter]

Great. Let me [ __ ] finish. [snorts] So there are different elemental types, same as Pokemon. There are different rarities from catching them. So let's say this one is unknown rarity. This this guy is this sheep is good. This sheep is common. Of course, you're going for perfect, which is the one that's very rare and that has the biggest stats. So, it's this kind kind of internal game that when you catch [ __ ] ton of these guys, you're always aiming to catch the perfect one because leveling common or good ones doesn't make any sense because we want to level elite ones and so on so forth. So, that's kind of usual for now. Nothing really to it. The interesting thing as you saw there is this kind of twining mechanic which means you literally turn into your Pokemon and then you go and you can go fight for instance like
let me go to actually a boss fight.
So the question is are you playing this on emulator or or your PC? This is
PC PC PC client. Okay. Pristine graphics, pristine everything. And we
pristine emulator. So
you going to fight that sheep?
Yeah, we're gonna fight the sheep because that sheep is actually a boss.
Oh, durable. Of course, it's a boss.
Yeah. So, we're going to fight him and we're going to damage him and drop some moons on him and then do some vulnerability on him. And you see, and this is basically how it looks. Drop another moon on him. We have this mythical creature that you get in the campaign for free basically. Then we can heal our guy and you see like he's still attacking because this just me now or damage boost him even throw a mushroom at him or whatn not.
Why are you immune?
Uh because I'm
Oh, so you Oh, okay.
So now we have
What's your What's your mushroom budget?
[ __ ] ton of mushrooms. [laughter]
Did Did you steal my mushrooms? Are you going to capture it?
No, no, no. Yeah, you can actually. You can. It's It's like a boss guy, so it's like second evolution stage.
No, just clicking wrong buttons.
It's okay.
Me to put him down actually so he can finally damage him. But targeting another guy anyway. Lured into sticking to Okay, I need to lure him to this guy. There are lots of like mechanics and stuff. Yeah, there we go. Not really.
One more sheep country. So, it's like pretty good action combat and all these other things. So, that that's nice. There we go. Finally. And then we can transform and do our super imba ability.
Wow. It's like a sailor moon.
Yes, exactly. He's literally dropping a moon on this [ __ ] There we go.
Nice animation. defeat the guy and we can catch him.
Catch Alpha.
This is a boss guy. So, it even tells us like which one we want. So, we let's say go Animipodra is 100% chance. Catch and claim rewards. There we go. You see that? That was the energy counter because catching these bosses and encounter requires [ __ ] energy and energy is limited. Same as in Genshin. There we go. And we can check the details of the guy that we got which I forgot where it is. I'm guessing we need to go not here and should be this guy. But
it's not that guy.
No, no, it is it is this guy. But we need to go see a new one spawning already. We need to actually go to this whatever Pokedex [ __ ] and feed it our animos so it can grade them and tell us actually what are their whatever.
Mhm.
Research console.
There we go. See, so all the ones that I catched lately, it's pretty much unlocking them. So see, for instance, this guy that we got is elite, which is great because it has better stats, gives us more like
progression resources and so on so forth. So we go and again
it's very exciting. I'm not sure if I be we'll be able to get some sleep thinking. I was just thinking about this.
Jacob I I don't have any frame of reference. I still miss Helix jump you know like is this a good game or not?
So again we're catching we're catching this guy and you see like all these guys are pretty much [ __ ] This guy's elite that's good. This guy's common. So I should have evolved rather this one than this one and so on so forth. Anyway, base mechanics, the complete quest, there's [ __ ] ton of story, [ __ ] ton of things. There is [ __ ] ton of live ops, of course. So, there are these claim quests as usual. There's prismata pack, which gives you one selected prismata later down the game. There's journey
handbook, again, another kind of common claim stuff. Set off together is literally a costume pack that you can go by. tracing trail da da da da da again some live op stuff more live op stuff boundless thinging complete PC console like again login on all the different devices you know the drill
so this is very similar to genshin style or mihoyo style kind of event structure that they're running then we have the pretty much the main quest line of like you doing all these steps and the game pretty much giving you a lot of like do this do that do this do that and like typical progress ression quests. Then we have daily activities such as quests and so on so forth where you get again stuff like challenging animals like we get here 430 energy. You see this energy this is basically it. This is limiting your thing how much stuff you can do during the day in the world blah blah blah blah blah again replenish by hard
currency exact same system as genshin impact like nothing really to it. stem brush again some stuff that's limited by the B1.
So how many actions can you do with that 100 or 200 energy?
Like 10 of these encounters for instance
like these bosses each one cost 30 energy. So
and how much is that in hard currency? I can check how much actually cost spend 50 glimmer to restore 60 energy. So it would be how much? Five 250 glimmer to restore full energy which will be check in the shop [sighs and gasps] 200 reset
something like 5.99 first time bonus for the glimmer. Thanks again if you're buying the gems. Yeah, it's it's um it's not that expensive, but again, it doesn't uh it's just energy. It doesn't guarantee you that you even defeat the boss. The boss can still kill you and stuff stuff like that. So, it's it's more like, you know, lives than actual power. Yeah, they have pretty packed shop and everything, you know, all these like cosmetics. Cosmetics is actually a quite strong team in this game. Like you have for instance I don't have a sparkling guy here but what's happening here that these guys they can have this kind of a sparkling effect.
Yeah I have sparkling water next to me that's if
similarly like like shining Pokemon that like they can like ultra rare and like their visual looks different and so on so forth. So, it's a lot of like chancing here the rarities and cosmetics of these guys and it pretty much the
game promotes you to catch [ __ ] ton of these guys so you can get the best one. Similar to Pokémon Go in Pokémon Go also there's like internal stats of each guy that that you can get. But, and this is the giant butt. Do you see something missing? Can we address the elephant in the room? M m.
What should I look at? Map. Bic. Map.
No. No. I just went literally through the near whole feature set. Remember?
Remember, use your brain.
Social.
No.
[ __ ] hell.
Don't always say social.
You always say [ __ ] social. Think
mihoyo game zero style. What I was showing.
What's missing? What's missing?
What's missing? Tell me. Well, welcome. We can
What's missing? That's a big feature, big progression feature. Something giant is missing. An elephant in the room here
that I haven't shown yet. And with these games, I always start with it.
VHS always. Maybe we should listen next time. [laughter]
Think how do they tell us?
We go and catch them in the world. That's
for some time.
Live. Maybe they implemented Kinoa into the live system. Woohoo. Woo because Kinoa is also sponsor of our podcast. Thank you very much Kinoa. Kinoa means you know AI operating system for mobile game operations live segments flows live ops game ops all you can imagine. No dev tickets. So go to kinoa.ai integrating hours and turn your players into the money making machine. No just into more revenues. There you go. There you go.
That's it.
We can't There's no no heroes uh gacha.
Yes.
Oh,
there's no [ __ ] gacha.
There's no gacha.
Which means what? That big money.
No money.
Oh, yeah. There's no spender, you know.
No gacha. No money. The problem is, and I was researching this, that either if it was there, it was removed in the beta or like which seems quite unusual for a Chinese-based company. Yeah. But okay, it's like
maybe they're worried about future EU legislation,
their heritage, but okay. But yeah, if you look at like stuff around it and even stuff around the internet, I was like researching it and like looking into it like what's there and like what do we have here? There's of course like a [ __ ] ton of content that I, you know, could have shown you and
still you're still showing tile survivor. So maybe
I know I know I need to just find the tab. So just want to show you that again there are things that are uh yeah like for instance I was like did I miss
something or like there's a problem because for instance there's this nice housing system which is similar to pal world where you go and you can like you know plant crops you harvest stuff you have your base and like you grow you know materials and reach again like I was like sure like there needs to be somewhere where where like I'm I'm missing this. No, you don't. Literally, there's no [ __ ] gotcha. There's no And how you get uh like the rarest like you just grind them out or you do these giant quests or events or whatn not. It seems that battle pass itself has some like let's say very very rare ones and there's currently where was it on the not this one there's an event running. Yeah this this this this thing super rare animo but you can grind it out. You just do these quests. This this is not something like you know go and like spend thousands of dollars and then
spend another thousand for each duplicate and like six more thousand like in Genshin or whatnot and you can get heroes basically only on PTS which means that you literally need to like spend full I don't know 70 rolls until the PT timer kicks in and gives you the actually legendary roll and so on. There's nothing like it to it. There's nothing. It's just like you know you go you play [ __ ] ton of hours you play some games play some quests and then then you get them. That's it.
Amazing.
Like, I'm sorry. Like, a Chinese game without the gacha and this game without the gacha. Like,
I don't know, guys. You build a beautiful car, you forgot to put in the engine. I don't think so. that on this scale and on this kind of a vast let's say especially because this is heavily skewed toward Asian audience this this will monetize well in the long term because you're still going against Genshin you're still going against watering waves you're still going against Hong Kong star like all these
other other like pal world even on on PC I don't know
maybe people are tired of god
yeah like of course of course the feedback on the is great. Like this is really free to play and like this is very user friendly. Like sure
you play. I thought it was premium.
No, no, no, no, no, no. [laughter] So again, this is for me the giant elephant in the room. Like there's no gotcha. And I was like, I understand this whole thing with Pokemon and like even Power World. Po doesn't have a gacha of course because Power is Power World, but it's a premium game. Yeah, like you don't I don't think so they can monetize that well on this setup because again, let me go back to the numbers. So if you go not tell survive. So this is an emo.
Of course, we need to look at it, you know, based on the fact that it's both on console and PC. It launched even sooner. It launched 16 of uh September and it's quite big of uh quite big of uh audience because if we go or actually
it's not on Steam, right? It's like you just download our website or Okay. And we can see the numbers on Steam, right?
Yeah, we can go and look numbers on Steam. So we can actually use BG insights for it. So that's good. Yeah. So let me also look there. So this is Animo stats and we can again we cannot really see the revenue because freeto play but we can still still see that it has uh daily active users. [snorts] Oh, so daily active users is giant like it's not not small. You see this like
all these peaks of like
half a million basically
if we go to free internet sites [snorts] steam it says I think something similar actually it's it's smaller here smaller on Steam DB which is like something like this but I think I don't know if this is taking into account both console and PC PC. Oh yeah. Yeah. It's taking into account both console and and PC. See? So let's assume that this is like this is okayish and it's like what like 500k. Um then we have the active users here in Senzo which is the mobile ones which is another 400k. So we have like million DAU which is great for like a heavy midcore game pretty much which this is. But then we go to revenue chart and revenue chart is [ __ ] awful.
Did anyone say revenue? Oh yeah. This episode is brought to you by Fastpring, the no drama D2C partner that's been scaling with mobile publishers for over 20 years. They're fast growing, profitable, and seriously reliable, which is more than you can say about most vendors in this space. Anyway, whether you're launching a new web store, replacing your current D system, or adding a backup plan, Fast Spring is here for you. Visit fastpring.gg to set up your web store today. Fastpring.gg. Hello, Fastpring. Thank you very much, guys, for sponsoring this episode. It's like 200k per day on like an Asian Asian audience because again it's like uh what Japan is second spot of course South Korea is second third spot Taiwan is
fourth spot Thailand is fourth spot so US just 16%. And these are all the people that love gachas and they didn't put gachas in it. So
they love gachas though,
Japanese and South Koreans, man.
Oh my god. Of course.
Or live and die by the gacha. [laughter]
I guess you forgot our trip to Tokyo. [laughter]
I'll never forget that trip.
Yeah. So anyway, even though assuming that these numbers would be double based on sensor tower, I still think like this is kind of low and especially if you put it into context of like them having 40 million pre-registrations.
Yes, that's a lot. Yeah, that's a lot. And where it is?
Yeah. Disappeared. or or like maybe they have that like I don't know because this thing unfortunately doesn't
have revenue that it just have cumulative daily premium daily in-game spent.
Whoa.
They have daily in game spend.
Whoa. Yakob, what's going on here? They're earning a million a day, huh?
600k it says.
Yeah, but also with the mobile on
you said 400 for mobile. Huh?
It's 200. Yeah, but you said it's probably higher, right?
Most probably a million a day.
That changes a lot. That changes a lot, Mr. Yako. Right. That changes a lot.
Of course, for like I'm assuming that mobile is not even 50% of it here. Of course, I'm assuming that.
But the problem is that it's still low. Like, you know, if I throw in Genshin numbers or even Hong Kai star or whatever numbers like
how big is Hong Kong Star Rail daily revenue right now? Again, we can throw in these guys in and you'll see.
Let me maybe go from app launch just to kind of cross compare.
Different, huh?
Oh, my favorite.
What? Amazon zero. My favorite
a plunch. [clears throat]
Is that $15 million in a day?
Yes. Yes. So, so see this is the thing I'm I'm I'm talking about. Yeah. So, this is the starting revenues of those games.
Like 3 days after launch, Hong Kongai was doing 12 mil a day. Mhm. Mhm. Mhm. Yeah. I'm not saying this game supposed to do the same revenue. I'm just saying it doesn't have the engine for it even if it wanted because it's not possible I think in the current format because you can
seeing this on the review radar.
Yeah, radar see that every [ __ ] time.
I know but review radar will be brutal for this. I can see it already just I don't see the spend depth in it. Maybe I'm missing some system or whatn not or their live ops will be so good that they drive it like much higher. But again, it down
most of the live ops in these games is driven by gacha spikes, you know, like these like new
new content, new [ __ ] gacha everywhere. That's how these games are driven.
Maybe the game designer was Swedish.
Was Chinese men.
Oh, well, you have no idea. Maybe there is sweet living in China.
There is one living in Lisbon.
I'm just like a little bit puzzled like what was the strategy of this? Like do we just go for this
great game?
Yes. Great game.
You remember the Star Wars Hunter strategy? Like we won't do like giant militization systems because retention will be skyhigh through the roof.
[laughter]
And then I'll come around to the come around for a party and I'm going to feed everyone retention. I don't know, man. Like, I really want to see how this goes. Like, the game looks gorgeous. It's definitely not for me. I'm sorry. Like, I I I don't like these like extremely cute, super cute visuals or whatnot. Like, even whatever. But yeah, it's gorgeous. It's nice. Plays really well. The combat system is very nice. Actually, like there's some like very hidden tidbits that I didn't talk about. Like for instance, evolution of these animals where you can go and evolve these guys and they change form based on weather. So for instance like this guy can be catched during a storm which in his crystal stage only during storms and stuff like that. Like they have lots of these really really nice mechanics and like lots of attention to detail and don't get me wrong. Yes,
that's great.
Oh yeah. Nobody cares. Exactly. I know.
Nobody cares until they make money.
I know. Oh, I was just thinking about it. Thank you. Bye-bye.
[snorts]
So, yeah, because it's it just doesn't have the giant spin that these guys are supposed to kind of roll in. So, I don't know. We'll see. But it'll be quite exciting how this kind of story unfolds because it's uh it's definitely a step up in the right direction. I think where FAS should have already diversified from Forex to some degree.
Why?
Because they're getting crushed there.
That's why
this is this is this is this is it.
Dude, jump off this cliff. I want to see what happens.
He can't die. He can't die.
I turned into a squirrel. [laughter]
This is the best [ __ ] thing you've shown us.
Start with this.
Yeah, exactly.
This is the start. This is correct.
Exactly. Cute game. What did you expect that I would just fall down and die and like blood splatter?
I need to play this. I want to be flying squittle.
It's like
Do it again. Do it again.
Oh, and I
Then you turn into like a whatever. Environmental effects are pretty nice when like depends on like the environment. You can do stuff or like breathe fire or whatnot. And
yeah, there is nice,
huh?
You can be a flying squirrel.
Yeah, of course you can be a flying squirrel. You can be like a fire breathing pup. You can be like a even dig down like a mole or whatever and like all these other mechanics.
Why is why are you saving all these fun facts for last?
Yeah.
Flying squirrel
because nobody [ __ ] cares.
Yeah.
Give me your money. Give me your money.
Like where's my money?
What's this? A hidden chest. See like all these secrets that they have in the world. That's really nice.
And I need to now destroy it with something. Ember pup. Go,
go, Amber Pop.
See?
Oh,
that's nice. Yeah. So much attention to
detail and stuff and everything. It's gorgeous. Don't get me wrong. It's just like we seen a lot of gorgeous things that didn't make like nothing. So that's there.
I already know what I'm going to see on the creative side.
Yeah.
Well, beautiful things. Take it. You
beautiful things. Very little creatives. Oh, wait, wait. What about ad revenue?
At least 50% ads. This is This is the classic hybrid casual game from China.
Casual hybrid castle game from China. Thank you, Jakob. This is great.
I was actually playing it for like a week nearly cuz I was like waiting when it will catch me, but it didn't.
Yeah. Like what's happening?
I guess I need gachas for for games to catch me.
Yeah. Yeah. So you can you can like the game. Okay. Well, you know, let's just go here. Actually, it's not ex Yeah. Life for a long time might change.
What?
There's big spike to begin with. The yellow one.
Kako.
Kako. South Korea, man.
South Korea.
Is that a chat app?
Yes. It's a chat app. Yes. Yes.
The biggest app in Korea,
man.
Is their version of WeChat?
Yeah. Have you been to Korea? Maybe so only like this this is already like alarming this 70% Apple search ads whatever but for
it died quickly.
Yeah I mean as it should it's still something is there but yeah it's mainly Facebook Google and I'm yeah this is amazing like even Twitter is here good
they actually has the currently the biggest downloads in the category even more than Genshin now like one and a half million. Yeah,
for a month but again very soon it's just like a
from Twitter for sure
Facebook they launched 23rd so last week Wednesday
okay so but I mean one sec we are
actually seeing increase in terms of the creatives because we were talking about this and you said they have 800 creatives like few days ago they have 1,300.
Wow. So it's it's obviously it's it's really nice and you want to check all of these. It's all it's almost like you and Gacha. This is nice and that's it. Obviously not made for me, I guess, but it's I can I can watch this. You can clearly see it's not AI.
No, no, no. These are basically exactly
nothing to it. There's no AI.
No, no, no, no. I maybe this
is it's a typical like big branded marketing of like we are the brand.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. So these are
we think we are the brand.
Yeah. I mean it's all pretty much from from the game which is nice again.
Yeah.
It's easy to do.
Not really.
I mean you already have it right.
If it's all game cinematics then yes.
Question is if it works. I mean kind of does know I mean you you just said they have biggest downloads from the from the whole category.
Yeah. But this launch month which means shark month
also. Also some of these
afterwards come shark fin.
Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Some of these are the pre-registrations that you were talking about. Although I think that's already dead.
I counted in after a week.
Yeah. I mean you don't really see that. It's like it's first three days maybe. And I don't even I mean what would you do in here honestly
marketing wise?
Yeah. I mean you can you can kind of highlight all the features from the game like all
the cute animals and [ __ ] It's the same stuff. So, I mean, they're definitely trying.
Maybe maybe mass battle.
My favorite. Yeah. I'm not sure. I'm not sure, man.
I'm not sure.
This is as mass as it gets.
Yeah, exactly.
Quite advanced already.
Flamingo.
Yeah. Amazing.
This is This is like the creative team playing the game on like a custom build mode.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. see all these different.
Yeah, which is again fine. I don't think it's,300 new stuff. That's not the resizes or just different cut downs, guys. No long form videos. I mean, like, what kind of playables would you see
here, man?
They said I couldn't make ads without the dev team. They said I wouldn't understand [music] the tech. Guess what? I just made a fully working gorgeous top to play while eating [music] noodles and watching trash TV and taking care of my daughter. All thanks to playable makeup. No code, no stress, no [ __ ] Sherlock, [music] it's Facebook.
Go and catch a
Sure. 5 megabytes, man. 5 megabytes. put this in 5 megabytes. Show me. You can you can start now. You can do what what Robots did just to customization. And but by customization in here meaning like you have three different animals and you just throw the Pokeball or whatever is it is it and that's it. That's all five megabytes you can you can get. There's like one UGC guy and this is all things we already seen. It's
not even active anymore. And it's not long form. It's 32 seconds, not more. Like go for one minute. I know you're not running up Lavin and most probably never will, but still make your UA guy happy. Same go. So, it's I mean I'm not that excited either. Oh,
you mean it could be better?
No, no. I mean, this is exactly what it should be. It's just I'm not excited because it's just this is going to be that in a month most probably. And now it's,300. Maybe it's going to go to 2,000 creatives and then next month it's going to be like 20
or the the month after
or we don't know what's the plan with the game. Hopefully
live twice.
Yeah. Yeah. Hopefully we are all wrong and this is going to make
I don't know five mil a day.
I just don't see it because literally I was watching like three or four videos like how to get best animos and it's just like these [ __ ] long quests like do this
the day do that. You get it like you actually get it.
You don't need to pay but you but you play and you have fun.
Yes. No, the game industry is about anymore. M.
Yeah. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
We don't care about fun here.
Okay.
Fun. What are you? Nintendo 64 1998.
I'm sorry.
Kazui guy.
Yeah.
Excuse me.
Oh, that's so funny.
I see there it is. There's the catching thing. Oh,
this looks quite mobile. Yeah,
this is nice. Cipher from Wish. Pokemon themselves have problems creating new Pokemons. So, everybody
else will have problems creating new Pokemons.
Yeah, only everyone everyone cares about the original 150. So,
well, [laughter] well, look, it can be whatever. You can do the vlogs from
streamers
streamers as as an animo or as as the the trainer or whatever, man.
My P of XL YouTubers getting promo videos of this.

Yeah.
Golem from which
golem? Yeah, fake golem.
That's it. Yeah, I mean all looks very familiar. Yeah, guys. I mean, that's it, man. Like, this is this is all it. Even if
you scroll down, it's the same [ __ ] thing all over again. Well, maybe some things are new, but it's less than 1% impression share. So, it's not all all active as well. So, there you go. Facebook, Google, X, aka Twitter, and what else we have? Apple
still makes 30 mil a month.
Wooding waves miss makes 10 mil a month. Ark knights are you know our thing that kind of died down anyway makes six mil a month
and where winds meet again six mill then something I cannot read in Chinese

FunPlus has entered the high-fidelity, cross-platform open-world RPG market with the launch of Aniimo, a title that synthesizes mechanics from popular creature-collection and action-combat franchises like Genshin Impact, Pokémon, and Palworld. The game represents a strategic pivot for the developer, moving beyond its traditional focus on 4X strategy titles to capture a broader audience through polished visuals, deep exploration mechanics, and innovative features such as weather-dependent creature evolution. Initial market reception was exceptionally strong, evidenced by 40 million pre-registrations and over 1.5 million mobile downloads in the first month, with daily active users reaching approximately one million across mobile, PC, and console platforms.
Despite this robust engagement, the title faces significant financial headwinds due to the deliberate omission of a gacha system. While this design choice prioritizes a user-friendly experience and emphasizes gameplay progression over aggressive monetization, it creates a stark disconnect between user acquisition and revenue generation. In key gaming markets such as Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, where gacha mechanics are standard for sustaining long-term live-ops, the absence of these revenue engines leaves the game under-monetized compared to direct competitors like Wuthering Waves.
The long-term viability of the project remains a subject of concern, as current daily revenue figures fail to align with the game’s high-profile marketing and technical scale. Without the implementation of deeper monetization hooks or a more aggressive strategy for character acquisition, the title risks losing its initial momentum. Ultimately, while the game succeeds as a technical and creative achievement, its departure from industry-standard monetization norms highlights the difficulty of balancing player-centric design with the financial requirements of the modern high-fidelity mobile gaming landscape.
