30k a day 3 24k downloads a day now as I said last week's push but that's it pretty much yeah I guess this this will either go like 50k and then it goes down or they do some drastic
magic
magic to kind of scale it otherwise I don't I'm kind of pessimistic yep about like this this even achieving something similar to alien invasion
it's 4 a.m. And we're rolling the dice. Matt [music] drops knowledge made of golden eyes. Felix with ads making those coins rise. Jack up designs worlds chasing the [music] sky. We're the two and a half gamers. The midnight crew talking UA ads and game design too. M feeling [music] shak bringing the insight. We're rocking those vibes till the early daylight. Kua master eyes on the prize. Tracking data through the cyerspace skies. Felix [music] colors like a wizard in disguise. Jacks lift us to the high. Two and a half gamers talking smack. [music] Slow hockey stick got your back. Ads are beautiful, they light the way. Click it fast, don't
delay. [music] Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Aha. [music] [music] I'm happy. I'm very happy. Bit tired. I'm happy.
Yeah, it's okay. I mean, that's what happens. Wait a second. Hello everybody. Welcome. Well, it's been a while actually since we recorded the podcast. We have plenty of stuff pre-recorded. Anyway, my name is Matthew.
I'm Felix Broberg.
And I'm Yakub.
And we are your hosts and we are talking about what's the actual name? Bacher Hero and True RPG. I guess that's the
Yeah, that's the chew.
Hook and chew. Ah, man. I was actually targeted by this game multiple times and all of their games in the multiccast
portfolio. So yes, that's right.
So I guess it's the second multiccast game we're reviewing, right? Cuz we did Alien Invasion then. Yeah. Crazy Labs Bot and then that was Multiccast, right? So yeah.
Yes.
I don't I don't
so many so many other new games.
If we reviewed the idol fish tycoon.
No, we didn't. No, we never did. You had it on the sonar.
Yeah, it was on there.
Yeah,
but that's where it ended.
Yeah.
Now they they had this pretty pretty interesting what did you call like game jam where [laughter] they they push so many different games. Well,
pretty much similar games on the store and yeah, I think I was targeted by three of them. So there was this Devour whatever like an alien ghost or something and then the butcher hero as well. So the thing is that they're still iterating their main mechanic core.
Yeah. Yeah. I must say it's a grind this game.
Guess what? Since basically I've been in
the hospital for the delivery of my son, right? Like 5 days I've been grinding on this game.
No, really. So I have been playing this every time I had a free time in the middle of the night and I've gotten to pretty much the fourth island. My character has 30,000 in health. I've spent nine euros in APS
and I've watched like 100 or 120 ads. So, I'm far in this game. I have a lot of opinions.
See, so that's what it takes to beat me for Felix. You need to have a baby.
Yeah.
Come on.
You can be my baby, Jacob.
Yeah, you can be.
Anyway, I guess let's start with the with the game as usual.
Yes.
Okay. So for those who don't know this character but what they were this is coming of course from Dota for for old old dinosaurs like us. So there was this hero which is chronically known for basically being like a model of abomination from Warcraft 2 strategy
game where he would like throw hooks at you and then hook you like to you pretty much and it would do all of these crazy combos in in Dota and then later I mean like the origin Dota and then the defense of the Asians the steam version and so on so forth like pretty much very very popular internet main character so on so forth. So yeah, they are basically taking this team as a main stay because as you see these floating weapons, it doesn't really have that. But here we see that pretty much there's what? Five weapon slots on me that are slowly unlocking as I'm progressing. One is VIP one. So I can only have it if I actually buy it, which is like
Yeah, if I if you're a VIP.
Yeah, exactly.
Can never be a VIP.
But then yeah, we're slowly progressing unlocking this character. As said before, this is again
very slowly progressing. Yes, very grinding slowly.
Oh boy.
This is again, you can see that this is done within the template of their alien
invasion kind of a top down RPG idler or how do you want to like call it? So they have this kind of very
RPG. It's an idol RPG. I think
it's not action idler or or how do you call it like like it's like progression idler. I don't know because the thing is that you have this like very big number expansion which is reminiscent of idol because again numbers increase so much you know like every island is 10 times basically which is like typical for Idol
but then you still have a lot of these let's say like the game play itself there's not that much automation and stuff around you would expect from Idol so yeah it's some kind of hybrid stuff so I wouldn't call it
extra you have to walk around a lot and basically run away from characters that are more powerful than you until you're more powerful than them. Every time I play this, I kind of reminded me of, you know, that South Park episode, the World of Warcraft one, when Cartman is like, "We need to stay in the wood woods bores." And that's what you do. You go chop down trees and
then you spend maybe two hours chopping down trees and you wait for the timers to come and then you can go fight the more powerful like people again.
Make love, not Warcraft. That's the one.
Exactly.
Best episode. Um, yeah. By the way, the game reminds me really a lot within these like Warcraft 2 single experiences there were there where you would play as a character as an RPG within Warcraft 2.
There were like all these tower defenses as well.
Yeah, the one that they had with was with Rexar the the beast master guy that you would like level him up within the map and it was just like close map and that's it and you just play the map kind of similar.
Anyway, so we have
every island, right? Yeah, every island, right, is pretty much the same basis, right? There's three bosses in every island and you get a weapon on [clears throat] one of them.
That's exactly sheet as usual.
I would say the scale Excel sheet would have better CPIs than this.
I'm not sure like why I have this feeling. It's just
it's
I'll get to the disadvantages as I go.
Let me just say that. So, we have our first base. We spawn here. This is our fountain where we get respawn. If we get killed, get HP immediately back. And then we have these as you see here on the mini map. It literally looks like Warcraft 3 like very similar map also Warcraft uh yeah Warcraft 3 the strategy. So we have these camps or whatever the timers are running here on stuff that I can kill. For instance, this guy I already killed him I don't know seven or eight times today which means he goes from 30 minute timer now to like 5 hour 6 hour timer. So pretty much like come next day. So that that that's happening here. This guy for instance he doesn't drop weapons. It just gives you HP just 45minut timer all over the place. That's it. Like this kind of strong end here. Then you have
slows down as well. I only get that now once a day.
Oh, really? Okay. I guess you cannot abuse it. Then you have these trees or whatever which just give you nothing and it's like what 6 minutes or whatever stuff like that.
I mean nothing just for start is 10 10 [laughter]
health. So you go here and you you slowly kind of progress between these locations, but you can still go back and you need to go back because you need to farm this like you need to constantly go and farm everything that's on the map because it's pretty much grinding simulator. But this is
unless unless you subscribe
unless you click on the ad which is like 440 HP which is like like a boss basically.
This I didn't get for an ad. I always got it from for diamonds
because you didn't go for iOS.
Far enough.
Yes. No, no, no, no, no. I was here.
Oh, really? Felix, you did you get that?
So, basically, I got ads but only after 24 hours. And basically what happened was that I Yeah, there's segmentation. And the funny thing is I'm seeing this whole thing that you have the gems. I've been playing this game for 5 days and I'm at the fourth island, right? And I've never seen a gem thing or a time timer countdown. Right. I only only got gems. Nothing else.
I got ads in like two hours of playing
this.
I haven't seen ads still.
In the shop, there's zero ads.
Literally.
Exactly.
Zero.
But the interesting thing is like they roll out for me in the shop ad placements on the different if you open a shop again, you see here, like if you scroll down.
So here on the first ones, they have like every day you can click and get one for free. So you open the shop to come in here. So you get one free for damage, one free for health, one free for Yeah. And all of these
regen.
Okay. I just got the free one when it introduce itself, but I guess it's it goes daily then because there was also like this free free in 8 hour timer
free something.
Yeah, whatever. So we have our hero. As I said, we have our inventory which are these different weapons. I was like, how do they scale this? And then like
yeah,
we just change the weapon types and like you weakness resist system like so easy. So this guy for instance and I was like just farming spear damage like the piercing one the map before. He's like
literally nearly immune like I do like nothing to him basically. So that's there. So
but then you can scale your damage, right? Because you can get the weapons.
Yeah. Again, [snorts] the most important part is getting the actual weapons. Like for instance, I have this rare weapon for this like rare guy who has whatever. And then like this this like dawn on me like reach level 100 to unleash a new special ability and boost like level 100. I need to kill this guy 100 times like 100 times and he's on like twoour timer that goes into like six hour timer after five kills or whatever. It's just like how many weeks this will take? how many lives you need to you need to sacrifice to play this game. And like that's why I'm saying this is a grind grinding simulator.
Yeah.
Oh my god.
Extremely grindy. This this was specifically also in Alien Invasion if I remember correctly. This kind of
but not as grindy, man. Come on. Not as grindy as
No, no, no, no. I mean this premium
placement that they have here.
Yeah.
Yeah. That you have like literally locked areas that can be unlocked only if you buy. So that's there. By the way, still like doesn't really give you that much honestly if I'm looking at this. So, we have these
Honestly, like I was playing it so much that those were the only characters alive on my map because I was just walking around and it's just after a while like everything just suddenly becomes like behind like seven hours and there's no one in the map. It's just you and you're like
everything's dead. So, you have these different weapons, you switch them around based on the like the damage that you need to do in the specific map, so on so forth. you go heal here and like rinse and repeat and you just like farm endlessly to can be stronger and stronger and as I said pray that you get like 300 HP ad because for te because that's what I get all the time.
That's what you get at it. So
the thing is the ad the ad placement is on scale either. So it's just like you really like are forced into making.
This is like one of the main problems.
So let me just show you this. So we have a tree here that gives you 10 HP. I one shot it. 10 HP. Then we have a tree that gives you 20 HP which has K health and I'm like needing a chainsaw to pretty much take it down and in the meantime I'm getting killed by these crusaders or whatever. So yeah, this doesn't make any sense. Like why would I farm this thing? You know why? Because if I kill all the in in the map, those FK3s is the only thing left standing. That's why you have to do it.
Yeah. So you have to do it anyway. Even though you have these like like even this one like this one gives you plus one X damage, 60 HP. This one has 800. Same plus one X damage.
Plus yeah, of course.
Great. So yeah, you're pretty much grinding endlessly. My one of the biggest issues with this game that it just seems not only grindy but kind of uh empty as for the map because there's
really nothing to it. If you compare it with alien invasion, you have like lot of these different things that are going for you. Like you have custo farm which you need to upgrade in the meantime which gives you more meat. You have satellites that you can chase and like gives you again different things. You have quests to complete. You have this all around like let's build a rocket. Their rocket version is this kind of Stargate thingy that you have here that if you complete the map, you get this like diamond built into it and then suddenly never tells you actually, but this is basically equivalent of the rocket from Alien Invasion that you're slowly building up. But you have normal quests there. You have I don't know like idle things. You have these mutations.
But if you go if you go back, I had something else in there.
What do you mean? When I when I cross the gate.
What do you mean when you cross the gate?
What do you
We go through the gate. You actually get something. I go through the gate and nothing happens.
Well, nothing happens.
It's the same thing.
Go down to the gate. The the starship. The starship. The the rocket.
Go.
Nothing happens because it's not complete. I need more diamonds.
No, no, no, no. Look.
Well, this episode is brought to you by Fast Spring. See, you go there and then suddenly
knew it. [laughter]
I knew it.
Suddenly and suddenly it's a it's
it's an ambushad.
It's a exactly because this episode is brought to you by Fastpring, the no drama D2C partner that's been scaling with mobile publishers for over 20 years. Fast growing, profitable, and reliable, which is more than you can say about other vendors from the space. So whether you're launching a web store, replacing your current to set it up or adding a backup plan, Fastpring is here for you. So go to fastpring.gg and start your new web store fastpring.gg or you go through the gate and then
get recrolled basically. Anyway, so as I
was saying, I'm just missing all those additional loops to kind of ease down the grind because the grind is never ending. Here for instance, we have like
this is too much for me even
like a boss character of the second map example like this is this is like again it's a numbers game like I get that like
HP and damage is one of the best scaling system there is because you can scale it infinitely which means it works always and like very granular it's great that's that's perfect but at some point number stops working because they're not fun anymore because don't care
it wasn't even fun from the start. I was I was literally dropped into the middle of the map. I was like, "What the I'm supposed to do? Everybody's killing me. I have no idea what to do." I was like, "Oh, yeah. By the way, they never tell you anything." Like, there's zero tutorial. There's like the first part of the game like what's what's I'm doing? Like, how do I get stronger? What are these numbers around things? Like,
yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The same thing. I didn't even know like there was all
these all these trees with the actual um increase of of the damage on
down trees.
Yeah, like I mean I dropped because I was playing this before we we we told we said we're going to cover it. I was like, "Okay." So, I started playing like two months ago or whatever and I quit. I was like, "Fuck no, I have no idea what to do." It was bad. I made an AIP I think in the first two hours for like €2 just to buy like more health and I still died on the same character and then was like quit for like 12 hours. I'm like this. This is stupid. [laughter] Then I came back and kept playing, but it's just like
the same character kills you like four times. And now like my character is 30,000 health and I'm playing against characters that are like 100,000 in health that kills me in four shots and I'm still farming trees that gave me give me like 10 in health.
Yeah. Then you have like you see then you have an app for 400.
Yeah, exactly. And that doesn't scale either, right? So it's just Yeah. Bit weird. They do have the event system that unlocks on island 4.
So what is that event system?
Yeah. So it's quite interesting. So it's every six hours for two hours you can play an event system that's basically
Mhm.
Uh on the map there comes more enemies and the enemies are like either a blue like blue what can you even call them? What do they call them here? They call them crystal attack. So, it's boosters. So, you kill these monsters that are on the map that have like 10,000 in health,
and they're either red or blue, and they give you a percentage increase on damages in the events for 2 hours.
Mhm.
And then what you do then is you go and you fight a boss that opens in a cave like right here. Let me show you on the map. So you fight the boss here and then for two hours you can increase your
chances of defeating him and then you are able to unlock a lot of rewards for the next 2 hours and that's the only way you can scale your character but it's still super grindy cuz you need to chase these crystal attacks and like killing one increases your attack by like 1%. So yeah.
So now I just beat the boss and this is the price I got. So, one of my knives went from damage 18 to 20 and I got 1,000 in health.
Okay.
Insert meme. This is worthless.
We need to go outside killing Bors.
Yeah. So, this is
What would you do to make this more fun because I like the artwork and I like the
randomness. Introduce randomness. Loot tables, drop tables, gachas, anything. Introduce randomness so you don't know what happens. Yeah, because then it's fun because I was like, "Oh, wait a second. I can go here." Because then the last time something else popped up.
Yeah.
It's almost like when we talked about randomness or not randomness, the gates multipliers in Clash, the Castle Clashers. At least that was interesting.
Those were, you know, the powerups and whatever stuff like that. Like
I don't know, introduce a loot goblin that will run into enemies and you need to see it's like, you know, killing
this is not Diablo.
I know, but it's a action RPG basically.
Yeah, that's true. So these mechanics works. So I'm just like guys, you have so many possibilities to make this less
less kind of
less grindy.
Less no grind is okay. Chore is problem.
Yeah. Yeah. Explain to me also like what is a weakness like with enemies and stuff like that. It's just like guys like don't make me work this out on my own.
It's pretty self-explanatory. Come on.
If you actually play Yeah.
Good.
Exactly.
You actually play games, man. I mean,
booaba.
So,
yeah, let me just say that like their weakness resist system is rather
rudimentary and borderline stupid, but yeah, whatever.
Come on, man. That's Don't be don't be
Let's see how much money this game is making cuz it's actually doing quite well, especially compared to Alien Invasion.
The thing is that I get that that they want to make it casual, which is good. Like, that's okay. And and I honestly I really like the game. That's why I'm so pissed that I I would really like this to be like at least on the level of alien invasion in in Metro feature set. You can put so many more features into this. Like why?
There's no like I don't know a merchant here sitting that can sell me something or whatever something please. I don't know.
Yeah. Like when you're walking around when you've played this game for like 3 days walking around and everything everything is everything is on a timer. no thing alive and there's no trees and I'm just like guys like I'm not on level four yet so there's no events and I'm just walking around like
yeah looking for these stupid trees that that that go in five minute cool down and give you 10 HP
but did you get like Yakob is feeling alone can I give you a hug
yeah I don't know
let's see let's see sensor tower do you want to share sensor tower
yeah yeah let's go there honestly I'm chopping trees the game is great but it could be so much better like that that's that's just the verdict here. Anyway, looking at the numbers. So, this was soft launch somewhere October last year some like that's pretty much pixel flow scaling time and then yeah, I guess guys started really pumping the UA somewhere around what's this like start of the year, end of January.
Oh, okay.
Now it's really just picked up.
Now it's really Yeah. And now it's really picked up these few few weeks late like what's this like end of March basically where they going like 25 20 plus downloads a day which is nice and again we can check it's uh let's say okayish traffic it's definitely
check also check the box where it says other in the under the both graphs.
What do you mean
under the both graphs you have the Yes.
Uhhuh.
Okay. Okay. So yeah,
just in case other
Yeah, exactly. That's that's what I'm trying to to get because I was like, "Oh, wait a second. I'm missing some numbers."
Global.
It is global. Yeah, of course.
Yeah. Okay.
But interesting. Only 22%.
See, this is this is the thing.
US and you know why the second country South Korea
grind
so grindy like we do grindy stuff. South Korea game. Yes. Like, okay,
I'm just going to grind this until forever.
Also, Japan here.
Yeah,
put Alien Invasion in the graph as well on revenue and DAU.
Yeah, cuz

Basically, Butcher's Hero, it's uh 23% ad revenue right now because of the low active user base, but still daily invasions long long in decline, unfortunately. Yeah.
You do active users.
Active users.
Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Very very small.
Still bigger, but going downhill. Alien Invasion was also like I think a much approachable team
compared to this. But this is kind of niche.
Yes.
The CPI must be so much lower with aliens compared to some Golem looking thing.
Exactly. And this is not even Golem, man. This is literally Warcraft. Like Warcraft as it as as as Warcrafty as it can be.
As it gets. Yeah. As it gets.
Sounds expensive. Over to you, Mache.
Was the Sorry. What's the verdict with that?
So, okay. of the the issue with ads, right? Like they they're definitely doing some kind of segmentation, right? Because I made an AP quite early on, so I didn't get ads until day two.
I didn't make any purchase and I still haven't seen ads. I'm playing this for four g four days. Second island.
So, seriously,
the the the rewarded ads exactly like an alien invasion
appear, right? But the thing is, since they appeared for day two for me when I'm already like on the snow island or whatever called the the the frozen island part, like they're showing me increased health for like 392 or 400 in
health for a rewarded ad, but my health is 12,000. So I'm like,
do I really want to watch that rewarded ad or do I want to watch it to get two extra damage when I'm already making like
yeah 1,500 in damage? like, do I really want to do that? So, the ads don't scale. So, now when I get to island 4 where I'm still playing, I never click on the ads. And then what they have as one of the main APS for 14 is basically to remove ads. So, you get all rewarded ads for free. But that only started showing up in the store for me after 4 days when I don't watch any ads anymore because they're already kind of like inflated out of existence,
obsolete. So
then like wait a second wait a second if you do no ads like why are there interstitials?
No it's just the rewarded ads you get the reward you just click them. So they appear on the button on the side and you just click them and you get
and you claim it immediately
same as the gem there on top of the gem offer comes the
Sure sure. So you basically it's like
skip it pretty much.
Exactly. Skip it. So here, right, that's the ad,
right? But
the only thing that kind of helped progression was the VIP mechanic. So if you click on VIP Yakob,
so when you make APS, you get VIP points and you get bigger basically progression help with the more you spend. So the first thing, so when I spent €2 was they unlock the daily chest. So every day, every 24 hours, I get the daily chest in here. And it's basically trying to encourage you to buy more AP,
man. Just look at this multiccast. 17% chance to gain four times the stats. This is literally like we speed up the game for you. This this is what it means.
Yeah. But like that's why I made the the IPS that I did in this game, right? Cuz like I was playing it, I'm like, I don't want to wait 18 hours. So I buy something and then I just get underwhelmed by what I bought. like when
I first bought health and then the boss still defeated me and it's just like
it's just like literally like we make the game slow as hell so if you don't want to crawl on the ground pay.
Yeah.
Yeah. Pretty much.
Yeah.
So,
and it works like it's still making money but I don't know where how much it's going to scale to. It's definitely probably not going to be the same as alien invasion. skeptical that this this won't reach even the scale of alien invasion if it goes up even just like we'll face really big bottleneck on CPI site or whatever
and I don't understand why they don't scale the ads with progression because ads after the second island are pretty much pointless
exactly we would wouldn't watch it anyway
but it's also because the ads are so impactful in the beginning like when you get the 300 HP ad is like so impactful and then like
they would need to what give you like 5k for an ad for you to mean anything like
they won't give you 5k. The only thing I think that could be a quicker fix is the event system, which is actually quite fun. Like if that unlocked earlier, like island 3 or something like that, cuz island 4 that was like me grinding for
5 days before I got there.
Balancing the progression curve like you can just, you know, make it more smoother. Take less time to kind of grind.
Yeah.
Create more locations. Let them blaze.
It's too steep. Like the grind, it's too steep. Like you need to grind from the very beginning. So come on. like let me play at least for for half a day not the grind and then scale it.
Yeah. Like I depends on how big the team is, you know, because usually when you do this slower grind, it's also like a symptom of we don't have enough content. So we just put in bigger numbers because otherwise you would blaze through the game. That's that's usually the like the case that like we make the numbers so slow because otherwise you would just blaze through the game and we run out of content
quickly. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That that's usually the symptom. And then games get bigger and like you need to rebalance the onboarding progression because you have so much more content.
So
So we are too early.
Yeah. Yeah.
Playing this game.
We'll see.
I mean the the good thing the good thing is that Yakob actually came up with a new new t-shirt name, right? You got to balance that progression curve. I can see the t-shirt.
Systems or vectors. Yeah.
Yeah. I thought that it's not going to be systems, but now it's going to be symptoms.
Symptoms. same.
All right, let's over to I I can't really see.
Over to me. Over to me. Okay, great. I mean, it was actually quite fun. Although, [clears throat] it's interesting to see the UA.
Yeah. Wait a second. So, it's all good. It's 500, which is not great, but not terrible. Uh, I mean, interestingly, uh, there's not so many UA channels. It's pretty much up loving mint
integral, Google and something else like unity and stuff and it's just
I don't know man even these like labels I don't think that early but they have the same music pretty much which is great obviously.
Well they have PvP.
Yeah.
See this would be nice if there would be like the exactly right PVP mode in the meantime.
Exactly. All their creatives are looking pretty good actually. It was like way more fun than actual because this I definitely enjoyed this. Come on. Like mass battles. Jesus Christ. That's my dream. Come on. It's my dream.
There's actually one place in level on the fourth island where you have a mass battle, but you walk in and everyone just chases you and you die.
Yeah. I mean, their creatives are quite nice. I mean, it's kind of all the same eventually, but at least the music is good.
And it's a guy that morphed into this.
There was a guy. Yeah, there was a guy
originally is an abomination like stitch together body part.
Yeah. Hello.
Love story yet. Why not?
Yeah. again like in terms of the creatives they are pretty funny and creative honestly
they know what they're doing although I mean where is they're more
oh that's a gray hook
there you go
even better that's very
that's better that that's better then now we have the same same one yeah I think so Their their ads are more appealing than the game.
Yes. Yeah, for sure. I mean, like this looks great because it's not as slow and it's actually fun. So, well, this is fine. But they have
few other stuff. Let me just actually, you know, let's just do new creatives only. See, I mean, hello. Whoop. What is this? Hero Wars.
Yeah,
pretty much. And of survival.
This is literally Warcraft 3.
Why don't they just add this as a mini game in the game when I'm like when I've killed everything in the map? Just like do let me do something like this, you know, like Yeah.
Well, you're right. Hak exactly what you were just there. And then just
SL slaying all the enemies and then just go back buy a new
buy new weapon weapon and then just go back again. Yeah. Prehistoric. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. You're right. You're right. Now I just like it's
so Yeah. And it would fit so well like you know do some side progression guys please.
Yeah. Put all of this in the game. This is fun. I would play this way more. And
then just Yes.
Imagine that you would collect something out of those miserable trees.
Yeah. And this reminds me alien invasion a little bit. At least that was
Yeah, it is. It is LA invasion a little bit especially with the meat.
Exactly. Yeah.
Wow. That's that's really good.
Yeah,
man. UA team is solid. No critique here whatsoever.
Yeah. Dramatic perfect narrative.
Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. It's like and so many different concepts. That's That's great. So even though you have 500 creatives, which is not a lot in like re like current standards that we usually talk about, it's still
great.
They're playing it safe. Oh, that was AI, wasn't it? Yeah, of course.
Yeah. Yeah, there's like there there is a lot of a lot of AI. I was looking at it, but I'm not sure where it is.
It's pretty much looking at like a lot of different uh videos. Still again, new concept. Hello. It's like the survivor IO type of stuff again. I mean, UA great, but I still can you imagine like how much like how big CPI must be in this for this game and this art style?
You tell me. I don't know.
I mean
I even CPM.
Yeah, I can
40 plus 30 plus.
No, that's too much. This is what I was looking
Yeah. So I think not 40 plus but I would say you know like you Ali if Ali and Invasion had let's say like seven like this is 20.
Okay.
Pretty much that's that's what I would that's
like better optimized campaigns.
Yeah.
I mean maybe a little bit of blended but I'm not sure because of
but they can really do blended that much
and they can it's just not going to be as scalable right because I know what you mentioned last time Felix with the interstitials
but still but still even if you don't have the interstitials you can you can do a lot of stuff
where is this dragon pet coming from
I don't know right doesn't yeah it doesn't make any sense
and he changed size
small friend small it's a small friend I think. Okay. So, let's just do a few more cuz again like see like it's all like again like different concepts. Hello.
It's very nice. U pretty solid. Even the game is pretty solid. It could be much more.
Could be way better. One sec. Let's just let's just see these playables because I'm I mean
I don't know why playables are always so bad.
And this
Oh, is it?
Yeah, apparently.
Oh, you're hooking stuff actually.
Yeah. Yeah, you're hooking stuff. But come on, man. Like
looks like GTA one.
Yeah, right. Like what the is this? Yeah, I'm pretty I I would pretty much vibe code this with my feet. Jeez, when you have I mean serious like you have a better game like why smelly coding day.
My feet are great programmers.
I don't think we have anything more to say here. Let's just Yeah. Yeah.
Fun game. Add me more content, guys. Better playables. So, I told my boss I made a playable [music] app with Playable Maker and he said to me, "What language did you code it in?" And I said, "I don't know. With Playable [music] Maker, all you do is drag, drop, click, and it does it all for you." So, again, he said, "What language did you make in?" I went, [music] "I don't know." English. At the end of the day, as long as a playable maker does it all for you, why do you care? It's just like
[music] magic.
Yeah. Way better playables by the like.
By the way, we haven't ever said the number. What numbers?
Like the actual numbers that they're doing.
Yeah, it's uh 23% ad revenue I would say and currently about like 5k a day I'd say in ad revenue but it's because of the dau is small
basically 30k a day 23 24k downloads a day now as I said last week's push but that's it pretty much. So yeah, I guess
this this will either go like 50k and then it goes down or
they do some drastic magic.
Yeah, magic to kind of scale it otherwise. I don't I'm kind of pessimistic. Yep. About like this this even achieving something similar to alien invasion scale. Let's see.
Yeah,
but the idea is great. Solid. It's just like you just go full on Warcraft then
because you you're doing niche kind of thing anyway.
Yeah, exactly. So yeah,
go and like steal everything from old days battleet maps.
Battle. Yeah,
go.
We were there if you need some. Let us know. Let us know. Okay, thank you very much guys for listening. See you next time in the comment section. Bye-bye.
Bye.

Butcher Hero, an idle RPG developed by Multicast, currently occupies a precarious position in the mobile gaming market. While the title successfully leverages a Warcraft-inspired aesthetic and aggressive user acquisition strategies to generate between 20,000 and 30,000 daily downloads, it struggles to convert this initial interest into sustainable long-term engagement. The core gameplay loop is widely characterized as an excessively repetitive grinding simulator that lacks the depth, variety, and sophisticated meta systems necessary to maintain player interest over time.
The game’s primary challenge lies in a significant disconnect between its effective marketing creatives and the actual user experience. Unlike the developer’s previous success, Alien Invasion, Butcher Hero suffers from a steep, poorly balanced progression curve and a lack of meaningful content. Rewards and ad-based incentives frequently become obsolete as players advance, rendering the monetization model ineffective and the gameplay feel increasingly like a chore. Despite maintaining a dedicated player base in markets such as South Korea, the title faces high churn rates due to its limited feature set and absence of engaging mechanics or randomness.
Currently, the game generates approximately $5,000 in daily ad revenue, a figure that highlights the limitations of its current design. To achieve long-term viability and scale effectively, the development team must pivot toward integrating more robust side progression systems and mini-games that align with the promises made in their promotional materials. Without substantial content updates and a fundamental rebalancing of the progression loop, the game is unlikely to replicate the success of its predecessors, as the current experience fails to provide the depth required to justify its monetization strategy or retain a growing audience.
