The mobile gaming industry experienced significant activity in the hyper-casual segment during November 2019, as evidenced by global download rankings. The primary objective is to identify the most successful titles by install volume, providing a snapshot of market leaders and their geographic reach. Data is derived from the Store Intelligence platform, covering unique installs across the Apple App Store and Google Play worldwide from November 1 to November 30, 2019. The methodology excludes pre-installed software and third-party Android stores, focusing on aggregate, unique user acquisitions.
Sand Balls, published by SayGames, emerged as the leading title for the month, securing approximately 36 million installs. India served as the primary market for this title, accounting for 40 percent of its total downloads, followed by Brazil at 8 percent. Fun Race 3D by Good Job Games followed in second place with over 19 million installs, demonstrating a different geographic distribution with 20 percent of its volume originating from India and 9 percent from the United States.
Rounding out the top five most downloaded hyper-casual games for November 2019 were Icing on the Cake by Lion Studios, Draw Car 3D by Voodoo, and Run Race 3D, also by Good Job Games. These findings highlight the continued dominance of hyper-casual mechanics in driving high-volume mobile engagement, with emerging markets like India playing a pivotal role in the global download performance of top-tier titles. The data underscores the competitive nature of the sector, where rapid iteration and global reach remain essential for maintaining top-ranking status.
