Could it be that this game is designed like it was built 2018, but they just figured out how to do better UA than anyone else? And that's why it's scaling so much. And you don't need that game.
Yeah. Like it must be

Who cares if it looks from 10 years ago? Who cares?
No. Let's start.
What do you mean? Let's start. We already started. This is a great game. Oh, hello. Hello everybody here. Welcome to another fantastic episode of Two and a Half Gamers and we are talking about the game. Guess what game are we talking about? Oh, I can't hear you. Yeah, it's hunting sniper. Um, it's actually looks like Yaku made it with his legs, but it's making a lot of money for some reason. Yeah, pretty much.
Pretty much there. I mean, yeah, I was just discussing why is this making so much money and uh and then we found out they're basically Chinese from Chinese company, I guess.
UA.
Yeah. I mean there is an I mean they have loads of new creatives and if you look at the game that is scaling and they have 4,000 400 400 something creatives in the last 30 days you know
you are in a very good spot very very spot yeah I mean we can start
yeah with the game or the numbers
I would say a game so everybody knows how efficient and amazing your
get to my feet are
hunting hut
okay hunting. Please put the mic in front of your
Yeah. Yeah. Beautiful. So we can hear you better. Yeah. We need to hear your

Genius.
You want to hear the shots? fired.
You're not doing shots. I'm doing shots. Shots fired. Um, yeah. So, what
I wanted to ask when you which tour did you lose first? Cuz I'm wondering if they changed the difficulty
when this thing kind of showed up first time and I couldn't take it down with one shot because you had too much HP.
Yeah, me too.
It's like uh I didn't thought that HP damage scaling will be that much important because I did an archery game myself before and it was mostly target practice. This wasn't like life animal simulation hunting and stuff like that. But yeah, it seems damage is quite important in this game. Okay, so what we have here, this is the typical golf clash style progression where you have these different tours which are basically increasing their bets and payouts. It's the typical you can lose
it all kind of mechanic uh that's been coming from golf rush. I call it like the betting economy. Then we have our rifles which are common, rare, epic, and owned. Again, usual setup, very similar to the golf clubs of golf clash. So again, Clash Royale style gacha. We have shard gachas.
I was going to say darts club. This is like the same as darts club
again very very close to darts club from bouet again as as we work also on that game. So you have these different attributes that are again projected as parameters in the game play that again different animals and different situations require different setups. So that's why they drive the collection. You also have consumables in form of ammunition which are adding I guess additional more damage penetration so on so forth score bonus that's extremely important because the whole thing is just based on score that's there and uh some emotes of course that's there and the typical chess system which goes with the typical shard gacha this is like the
clash royale of old like they ditched the system already in clash royale it's not there anymore the time just they upgraded to the usual squad buster Star Brawl Star star chests, which is like you click on the chest and you have a chance to upgrade them, which just I think produces much more dopamine loops compared to this, which is like yeah, the usual. Anyway, let's go to the game again. Very similar to Golf Clash. It's a one v one battle based on the environment. So, we're not directly competing with the player, but we're like indirectly competing with our scores. We take turns, which is great because it creates an automatic tutorial. Again, very same as Golf Clash. nothing really to it. So we have our animals and then we just with one button control the rifle that goes into scope in this kind of a slow time and trying to shoot the deer into its heart or head or whatever the animals kind of critical area is to give score more points and then the opponent goes with his shot and this goes on for three or
four rounds basically with yeah three uh I got four already so I think even this one will be four different tour with different scenarios as you see like that was a deer that was like just going there very slowly. This one is actually pretty fast. There will be one that's even faster can be jumping, moving, running, galloping or whatever. I can imagine that like the like the other animals that there there will be doing their signature escape moves or whatever that's there.
It gets quite as you see here like for instance the guy's winning now over me. Of course he's
because he has 1% increase in ammunition or whatever. It gets quite hard to actually
even with the mouse.
Yeah, even with the mouse because again you need to take in the wind and like stuff around it. Like when you shoot like he moves. See how it goes.
Oh, you got one shot.
Yeah. Yeah.
When are you going to say it, Jacob? Easy to play, hard to master.
Yeah, this is easy to play, hard to master for sure. Especially this one. This is like armored deer.
Yeah. Yeah. So,
armor tier.
Because I upgraded my rifle, I can shoot it with one shot. Last time I couldn't. So, let's see if our opponent is able to do that, too. It's like,
yeah, of course.
There you go.
Of course. And then we lost.
Did you see you?
No. One more. See, round five. Another armored deer. Let's also try to
Head shot. Head shot.
Come on. Come on. Come on.
There we go. Well done. which means we probably win over our opponent because that's a big hefty point bonus if you actually can hit the critical areas there. I think I had this for the for biggest one. Yeah, but uh by 40 points anyway. You see how important is to have those score bonuses just by 1% because those are in thousands. So that's there and we lose some trophies and of course we lose all the cash that goes to our opponent that's there. Yep. So that's for the core. As I said, extremely simplistic. The whole game looks like it was made 10 years ago. Um,
with your feet.
With my feet. Uh, again, typical chess
chess progression here. Like nothing really to it. Trop itself again very very simplistic. Even this can come.
You have no chance, Felix. No chance
from left to right. I I'll get there. Just wait a second. Events if I'm getting I'm not leveled high enough or they're not there yet. But they're definitely there in the game. I can guarantee that. Would you play this game more than a week?
No, I played this game for like three days.
We're not the target audience, though. That's the thing, right?
And do we say that about almost every game?
Yeah, but you know, we're doing this for the masses, not for us. We're not covering games we like. We're covering what's going on in mobile gaming. Just steps of it.
I'm playing still and Pokemon. It's it's almost like it's almost like these people when when you when you're taking a piece then they come to you and say I'm vegan.
Yakob I'm playing Mamusume still even after a year.
Could be that this game is designed like
it was built 2018 but they just figured out how to do better UA than anyone else and that's why it's scaling so much. And you don't need the best game.
Yeah. Like it must be
I mean honestly yeah they have [ __ ] of creatives with the scope that's it. I mean nothing really groundbreaking.
Well the number of creatives maybe it's a number of creatives then or something right?
Yeah most probably.
Now you do ads by the way Felix.
Yeah I mean they have the free rewards the super bare bones right. So they have this. Let's go to the ad one first. The other one.
So
8 minutes in. Thank you very much. See you next. [laughter] Yeah, I know. It's It's like the free gems and the gold chest and it's on a timer. And then if you close this, you have the you can basically reduce the timers of the chests at the bottom and you can do Yeah. 1 hour. There's no cap. You can watch as many as you want.
Pretty much unlimited. But I guess from my side here, like there's a lot of ad placements that I think would make quite a lot of sense that they don't use
such as
Okay. Before starting a match, you could have one placement for bullet multiplets because they're monetizing you through.
Yeah. But take one of these, right? Or something, right? And you have But listen here. If you've passed the point, so if you pass the point where majority of APS take place, why not unlock some of these bullets, right? You can easily track that, right? And then also you could do increasing afterwards so you get more coins, right? But you can put that on a cap so you have something before or after the game.
Would you rather give money to yourself or to ad network?
Did you not hear what I just said? show the advertisements only for basically when you pass the point of no APS like the IP conversion rate is going to be 3% right so you track basically by go like hey what's the number of hours where the 90th percentile of APS have taken place in hours and then once the hours is reached then you start showing more ad
placements like
I know you're not going to get the AP use segmentation but we both know that the most ad revenue will be made in tier one traffic anyway Okay,
you can still tell me about the hours, right? There's no reason why not. That wouldn't work.
No, no, no. Like, do it for sure. Like, uh, again, I'm don't think so that Slovakia would be put into tier one traffic, so it's not there.
I didn't see it either.
As I said, extremely simplistic and quite nicely done, I guess. Again, the level design and all these like shots and everything, I guess, play a big role in it. Like, would mean to kind of cross compare it with some like other games on the market for sure. But still it's uh
Can you click on the on the menu on the top next to the diamond?
Which one? This one.
The hamburger. Yeah. Yeah. If you go to settings
Oh, you don't have it?
Uh it's a ambush ad
because this episode as usual
every time
because this episode is brought to you by fastring the no drama D2C partner that's been scaling with mobile publishers for over 20 years. They're
growing fast. They're profitable and seriously reliable. So, which is I guess more than you can say about the other ventures from the from the space. But whether you're launching a new web store or replacing the current D2C setup, call Fastpring or go to fastpring.gg because they are here for you. They're moving fast. So, you know, guys, go to fastpring.gg and set up your web store right away. There you go.
Yeah.
What's going on genre? I want to find out that more. Yeah, this whole genre, the hunting genre,
this is like it's called like realistic sports if I understand correctly. And by downloads, of course, there's football
that's never moving. That's cockroach.
That's not a cockroach. That's a juggernaut, man.
Uh that's there. And by revenue again, there's football stuff like
Oh, [ __ ] me.
It's It's like one of those biggest games out there to be honest.
We need to cover that one day. We've never done a football game. I've never
done covered like e football.
Yeah. I'm just curious that if there's hunting sniper here, why there's not there the hunting clash game? Because there's also here and I'm guessing like which category is this put into then if it's not uh it's still realistic sports. How much does it take? Oh,
it's come on, man. Like
Oh, yeah. Okay. Okay. Okay. It's
nothing. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I was I was having a wrong filter there cuz I was
yeah it's monthly not daily. I was like,
"Yeah,
why why this is this okay too too tired." Anyway, because I wanted to see cross comparison here and like why this game so successful because we have guys like T Square, the big Polish studio that's been doing all these realistic sports games. They're most known for fishing clash. There's sports simulator literally it's called like that which has done like 400 million plus even though it's going down. Their second game is the one that I was showing you the hunting clash one which was just reduced to under a million uh a month.
And then suddenly comes uh you know this kind of something from which is this global launch August 2024 and scales all the way to like 200k a day which is now easily what 6 mil pretty much a month.
Yeah.
I forgot to say percentages right so this is 21% ad revenue as well.
Yeah. So that's even more if I get it right.
Yeah. So pretty much 10 times bigger than the 10 square game which is on the
QA. This is all mach by the way. Yeah. By the way, by the way, so I was doing a little bit of work for for hunting clash and then I had Q1. Okay. It was Q1 for 2024 and it was already 3x more than hunting clash when it launched. Oh my god, this is s.
They also have another game called Wild Hunt which is even worse which again I don't know what's happening there. Like again open is just I guess going down.
It's the UA like that UA is the most important thing in mobile. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. But again
it's more important than game design. It's more important than anything else.
Yes, I fully agree with that. But again the question is can we confirm from this game review that this is because of the UA? If you go into gallery,
even if you do
Yeah, I guess I leave it to you. No.
Yeah.
Yeah, you can leave it to me. But like I would just say in here because I mean so I did this long time ago
because even just saying even Fishing Clash the big 10 square game still the big 10 square is like 1.7 mil a month compared to this which is 5.
Yeah. Yeah. And this is just you know this was just Q1 comparison when it launched and then again already doing way more in in June in terms of the downloads and then in terms of what what was it? Yeah, active users and now here like revenues and then look even Arb it's double that it's since the very beginning that's the
thing. So, I'm not sure if this is basically you want
all difficulty settings basically just like better balancing and similarly like how you have like a match tree that makes a [ __ ] ton of IP purchases compared to like match three copy which makes nothing.
Yeah.
Look cuz this is basically last 12 months. I mean it's basically what Facebook mostly and now a little bit more Snapchat than usual and Tik Tok. I don't think this is UA. I mean, it's very very simplistic.
Look,
maybe it's money laundering.
Come on. It's like
dude, that would be great.
That would be great. But then look, it's just basically the same suspects all over again since the very beginning.
Imagine you're building a game, you don't understand why it's scaling, you're competing against it, and then you find out later it's money laundering. I mean, so like heart destroying. It's like I don't understand how they're doing it. Yeah, cuz look, this is Facebook only. How many
creatives? Yeah, this Facebook only. No, no, no. This is Facebook.
Yeah, it's it's a lot. This is new only in last 30 days.
Yeah. 4.5, right? New creatives 1.6. Seriously. So, I mean, this is definitely great, but I just
see what Hunting Clash does compared to
Don't I mean
375?
Yeah, exactly. There you go.
10 times less revenue, 10 times less creatives.
Exactly. That's exactly what you need. See, I mean, this is actually quite nice. But again, 26 seconds. This is like some some new interesting like this.
That's just taken from a
I thought it was taken from a what's it called? A shooting game, but it wasn't.
I think it's taken from a different game.
It might be. Yeah,
because you see it like
Yeah. This is not This is not This is not
Yeah.
Not face to face, but not twin stick.
Yeah. Yeah. Exactly.
Wait a second.
It was from the sniper.
Isn't this the the
the Brazilian game? Yeah. What's it called?
No, no, no, no, no, no. The Slova game actually. The Way of the Hunter.
Way of the new game from DHQ, guys, which some of our friends work on.
Oh, it does look like it.
The screen is definitely very similar. So, yeah.
I not have YouTube Premium.
No, I common man. I would not pay. It is.
Yeah. Not quite.
Let him take a shot. Just let him take a shot.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Quite the same. Let's see.
No, it's not.
It's not. But I mean, it's
very close. It will be one of those big PC games for sure.
Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
And they just add uh Okay. It's not that.
It's not that. Yeah. So, it's not this.
It's close. It's some some big PC game. Could be just basic Deer Hunter or whatever there is on Steam. I
Yeah, exactly. I mean, doesn't matter. It's like this is not really exactly the same. So, okay, I'm taking it back. Um, we can take
You see these money numbers over the
Yeah, exactly. It's not there. Yeah.
Yeah, it's not there. It's definitely not there. And this is It looks quite different than actually.
So, basically, you see this is the thing that they have fake ads pretty much.
Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay.
So, it is a UA thing then.
So, it is a U thing.
It is a U thing.
Yeah. Because then Okay, we can we can compare. Can you Can you find the other game? Yeah. No, no, no. hunting clash like what the what are their creatives
looking at it right now.
Yeah. So so we can we can compare because yeah this is all just
they also have this like animals with numbers over them.
But this is a little bit different though like you you you kill this guy then you upgrade yourself and then you go and then just kill I mean the whole scope works really well. We know that because that's what what Warp Path did. They um introduced the the sniper mini game and [snorts] like game sniper 3D or whatever.
It was wildlife. No.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like 15 years old. Super old.
Yeah. So I mean like that might be just the case here. So not using the the actual game play does work. So yeah, we were talking about this on the workshop today like okay so can you say one thing that doesn't work anymore? I was like yeah showing gameplay creatives. They actually have pretty nice AI creative spawn hunting clash.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They were kind of working with AI. I was pushing it too much. So, if you go to the actual Facebook, they have these like Oh, wait. Oh, whatever. Was that
what is this game? I want to play this game, not the other one I've been playing for the last three days.
They have also UGC stuff, which is super boring. Then something like this.
Yeah. So, basically, this whole market is just fake ads from left to right.
I mean, yeah. What would you expect? Seriously.
But it seems that their fake ads just work 10 times better than the other guys fake ads. Wow. What was that? That's AI. I would guess it's AI. Yes,
it was AI.
It's AI. Yeah, that's AI.
There was definitely AI. And we have more,
Nick.
There you go. Yeah.
What is this hunting? I'm going to I'm going to I'm going to go.
Yeah, like hunting with a twist. We have more.
This is just Facebook. Yeah,
this is only Facebook. Yeah. Yeah, it's only
because I've seen some real animals if I understand.
Here.
What?
Yeah. Hook.
Oh my god.
I don't think that was real. That was AI pretty much. But but it's okay. So yeah, I mean this looks great. Way better than the actual game.
Of course. Yeah. T square side has like some very basic AI.
Yeah. So I again So is this the only play the the UA which is fake and then you have a UGC on top of it which looks like creative challenge videos from Tik Tok. You reuse them. But this is this is um survival, you know, 37 games creatives, you know.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly.
Like the Forex guys, they have this like zombie survival whatever stuff in it. Yes. And it's funny usually.
Yeah. This was also funny. So So that's one. That's one one angle. And then what
is the game graphics? Not an atmosphere. What are we looking at? I'm I'm really like that that you're looking at the guy playing a console game with the twin stick controls.
Look, and he has a phone in in his hand.
Yeah.
Which is even better. I'm not sure if this is a real person.
It could be the Steam game Way of the Hunter that all these videos come from.
We just said that.
We just said that, man. Like that was the one that Jakob said. It's from the Slovak guys that we we worked with before. It's the same thing again all over again. So see like I don't I don't really get this because the I mean of course like they have [ __ ] ton of creatives but it's all basically the same but different slightly different. So
so I told my boss I [music] made a playable app with playable maker
and he said to me what language did you code it in? And I said I don't know with playable maker all you do is [music] drag drop click and it does it all for you. So again he said what language did you make in I don't know [music]
English. At the end of the day, as long as a playable maker does it all for you, why do you care? It's just like magic.
Yeah, that's why I was like, yeah, it's it does really do a lot of revenue on a daily basis, but if it's because of the all these different creatives, come on, guys. Like, it does it can't be.
Why? What?
AI.
Yeah. Wait, I mean, I still can't believe that cuz they do. Let's see. It's like there was a little bit of up in but I don't think it's it's going to be a lot of it. Yeah. 20 creatives up clearly doesn't work that well. So yeah I don't have that much to say. It's
I think we can end it here. I mean
yeah I think so as well for no reason but uh I don't get it.
So it's most probably most probably but the only UA because the UA is just like yeah it's different game. Sure. It's sniper. Sure. Okay. Makes sense. It's but that's that's pretty much it. And it's not even running on all the
channels. It's just Facebook, Google, Tik Tok, and and some of the others like very small
pling. Yeah,
it's there, but it's not big apparently
because Chinese company.
Exactly. Yeah,
as always.
As always. So yeah, here we go.
I'm just like puzzled like how, you know, somebody storming in into the genre can like 10x the current leader in like two years. Not even two years. I've heard about the company did that in a pretty competitive market. It's called Microphone. What does the these two companies have in common? They're for China. Oh yeah, that's true actually. Okay. Okay. Okay. It makes sense.
Yeah. Yeah. But let's see. Going to be quite interesting because like this is quite a big chunk of money for that type of game. Like based on the like what I saw there like the team would be extremely lean like this is not like more than 20 people in my opinion in China.
Yeah. I don't think it's more and it's also a good thing because then you don't really need to have like super high polished game and it can make a [ __ ] ton
of money.
Exactly.
Yeah, that's like that's my main takeaway pretty much.
Yeah, I think on that bombshell we can end.
Yes. Thank you very much for listening. Yes, Felix.
I was going to say thank you so much and take us out, but you were doing such a good job.
Okay. Yeah. [laughter] Thank you very much the listeners. Uh please if you know more about hunting sniper, please let us know. We are really really keen to know more until that happens. It's an interesting case supported by UA and whatever else. Money laundering maybe, maybe not. Maybe not. Maybe not. Most probably not. But at least it's fun. Thank you very much, guys. Join this like channel. Please comment under the video. We really love your comments under the video. Please do more of these. Make comments. Yeah.
Make more happy.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Please, please, please, please. Really. It's uh it's really enjoy enjoyable to read. Thank you. See you. Bye
bye. Bye bye.

The mobile game Hunting Sniper has emerged as a significant financial success within the realistic sports genre, generating approximately $200,000 in daily revenue. Despite utilizing core mechanics that appear dated—resembling titles from 2016–2018—and employing a standard betting economy similar to Golf Clash, the game has managed to outperform established genre veterans like Hunting Clash by nearly tenfold. This performance highlights a shift in the mobile gaming landscape where high-quality game design is increasingly secondary to aggressive user acquisition (UA) strategies and high-volume creative output.
The game’s success is attributed primarily to a relentless UA strategy characterized by an extreme volume of creative assets, including the frequent use of misleading or "fake" gameplay advertisements. These ads often feature high-fidelity visuals or gameplay styles that do not reflect the actual, more simplistic product. The developers maintain a high cadence of creative production, releasing hundreds of new assets monthly across major platforms like Facebook, Google, and TikTok. This approach effectively captures user interest through deceptive but highly engaging marketing, which appears to be the primary driver of its rapid scaling since its global launch in August 2024.
From a design perspective, the game relies on a proven, albeit unoriginal, loop: a one-versus-one competitive structure where players take turns shooting targets to earn points. Monetization is driven by a shard-based gacha system for rifles and consumables, alongside a progression model that encourages high-stakes betting. While the core experience is described as simplistic, the developers have successfully leveraged these established mechanics to create a "dopamine loop" that keeps players engaged. The team behind the title is estimated to be lean, likely consisting of fewer than 20 people, suggesting that a focus on efficient UA and low-overhead development can yield substantial returns in the current mobile market.
