Create free accountmy name is Justin bearing i work at house offers we also have a product on mobile app trapping and the director of growth morning okay so in case someone is watching west and hasn't heard of mobile app tracking what exactly is it all about what's your company do yeah so mobile app tracking as the name implies it's really more on advertising side so we get asked a lot do you do tracking of in app analytics and we tell me how my users are actually using the app and we're more on the advertising side so it's really to tell you how well your your advertising campaigns are performing let you measure which ones are actually driving which actions which attributions but yeah we're integrated with 450 different ad networks and publishers and growing it seems like that number is growing every day and and
yeah it's really it's a great tool for for measuring how well those ad networks and public so you're running a campaigns on how well they're performing which ones are you know sending you great traffic great users which once you know the lifetime value is going to be higher than maybe one end them that network that might have cost more money to actually get those users yet it's a great platform yeah why is this shift taking place more towards these kind of services because a few years ago people were all about buying these big huge bulk of traffic as cheap as you can pushing yourself up the app store and trying to get to the top why is that model changed do you think what kind of reasons are there find that yeah I think I think a lot of it is just the availability of targeting the availability of different ad networks and platforms you obviously have facebook you have google you have the huge players and you have all these other ad networks and the ability to target your traffic and target who you're really trying to get and then the more data insight that you have into how
is one person from one out and network compared to another user that we might be able to get from another ad network I think all of you know that piece that we're trying to solve and it really show you the attribution is huge and it's going to you know just push more advertisers to really try and find more targeted ways to get their seasons yeah it's it's really interesting about this growth of aesthetics or i think is it's something that's come about very recently but it still seems to be evolving all the time there's a lot of competition in this sector I mean how do you think that mobile app tracking stands out what do you think it's that's cool its unique selling point what I think it is that helps it to stand out amongst the crowd yeah well we've been doing it for a while I mean since 2011 so we had a great customer base like I say mated with over 450 ad networks publishers which is a huge number and then I think you know one of the really key differentiating pieces is that we call ourselves unbiased and what that means is that our advertisers who work
with a state-owned that data so all that data that is you know being tracked and that we're giving back to them that analytics we don't do anything with that other than we get that back to the advertiser because it's theirs and let them use that for optimizing their campaigns or improving their performance but we're not adding network we don't you know go and try to resell that data to somebody else so that's one of the biggest factors that's that makes us really unique from our competitors is that we truly are unbiased one day advertiser to do really well we want the ad networks and the publisher was to do really okay so you're trying to give power power to the marketer paradin people how is it that I once we do you think that's an increasing trend within mobile do you think that perhaps more companies are trying to do this because on the one hand you talk about doing this within the advertising space but at the same time you can see game developers when they're offering today in-app purchases they're trying much harder to give that customer choices that they're trying to push that much more me do you think this is a big trend
and if so where do you think it might might end up yeah yeah me I think it's definitely something that you know more advertisers are paying attention to you know there's so many tools out there that you can use whether it's on the web or it's a mobile to try and find that targeted audience but a lot of times the things that you know what we're quick I've been doing marketing for years you know online marketing and it's easy to sign up and say I'm gonna use this tool somebody told me about it not really see well what's really happening at the end of the day what's happening with that data you know how is that third-party tool provider they taking that data and doing something else so that are they selling it to a competitor minds that they can target users who are like mine and I think you know just with privacy in general you know big data's the hot topic everyone's talking about it and there's more and more companies who are in that space and are involved with data and just providing data and analytics and insights to their to their customers so I think it's only going to you know be more of a focus moving forwards to
really say you know I want to work with third-party providers who are treating that that data which really is mine at the end of the day and they're they're treating that with respect and they're not going behind my back and reselling that or trying to make a buck off of it but that they actually respect that it's mine and and you know if anything I hope that continues I mean there's screw saying things on the privacy side for consumers with an also you know on the advertiser side you know with big data and just trying to make sure that that data is owned by the person who actually it belongs to yeah so it sounds like respect and caring for people that's all that the hard for you're doing yeah I thought of the hockey well thanks very much enjoy has been a pleasure yes thanks a lot you
Effective mobile user acquisition requires a shift from bulk traffic purchasing toward data-driven, targeted advertising strategies. Modern mobile marketing relies on sophisticated attribution tools to measure campaign performance across diverse platforms, including major players like Facebook and Google, as well as hundreds of specialized ad networks. By analyzing which networks drive high-value users rather than simply focusing on low-cost volume, advertisers can significantly improve their return on investment and optimize lifetime value.
A critical component of this evolution is the role of unbiased, third-party tracking providers. These services integrate with hundreds of ad networks to provide transparent attribution data, allowing marketers to compare the quality of traffic from different sources. A key differentiator in this sector is data ownership; providers that do not operate their own ad networks or resell client data offer a more neutral environment. This ensures that advertisers retain full control over their proprietary insights, preventing competitors from leveraging their campaign data for targeting purposes.
The industry is increasingly prioritizing data privacy and transparency as core operational values. As big data becomes more central to mobile growth, advertisers are becoming more discerning about their third-party partners, favoring those that respect data sovereignty. This trend reflects a broader movement toward accountability in the digital ecosystem, where the focus is shifting from opaque, bulk-buying models to precise, ethical, and performance-based marketing. By maintaining an unbiased stance, tracking platforms empower marketers to make informed decisions while ensuring that sensitive campaign information remains secure and exclusive to the advertiser.
