Dungeon & Fighter Mobile has achieved a significant commercial milestone in China, establishing itself as a premier title within Tencent’s portfolio. In its first 30 days following launch, the game generated $270 million in gross revenue on the iOS platform. This performance surpasses the first-month iOS earnings of other major Tencent titles, including Honor of Kings, which earned $130 million, and Peacekeeper Elite, which earned $69 million during their respective initial periods.
The data, primarily sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the game's rapid market penetration, with $63 million in player spending recorded within the first week alone. Additional metrics from AppMagic indicate that the title also secured over 5 million downloads on iOS during its first month. While these figures focus exclusively on the Apple App Store, the game’s overall financial impact is expected to be substantial, as it is also available on Android through direct distribution and third-party platforms.
Industry analysts project that the game could generate between 15 billion and 18 billion yuan, or approximately $2.1 billion to $2.5 billion, in gross revenue across all platforms throughout 2024. Such performance positions the title as a vital component of Tencent’s live service strategy, with estimates suggesting it could contribute roughly 5% of the company’s total domestic game sales for the year. These findings underscore the strong consumer demand for the franchise and its successful transition to the mobile market in the Chinese region.
