New Application. A Complexity-branded Web3 integrated fan application will be developed as part of the partnership.
Complexity Gaming has entered into a strategic partnership with Sonic Labs, establishing the blockchain platform as the organization’s official and exclusive blockchain sponsor. This collaboration aims to enhance audience engagement through a variety of gaming-driven initiatives, including the development of a branded Web3-integrated fan application. While financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the partnership represents a significant integration of blockchain technology into the operational and promotional framework of the Texas-based esports organization.
The scope of the sponsorship includes prominent branding rights on team uniforms, promotional activities across live-streamed events, and direct integration into community-focused projects. Sonic Labs will also gain visibility through its sponsorship of the monthly Counter-Strike North American Revival Series and the upcoming Counter-Strike North American LAN event scheduled for May 2025. These events will feature custom branded segments and awards to further solidify the partnership’s presence within the competitive gaming circuit.
This deal aligns Complexity with a layer-1 blockchain platform designed to provide a secure gateway to Ethereum. The partnership arrives as Complexity continues to maintain a diverse competitive portfolio, including titles such as Counter-Strike 2, Madden NFL, Rocket League, and Halo. By incorporating Sonic Labs into its existing sponsorship ecosystem—which already includes partners like Lenovo Legion—Complexity is positioning itself to leverage emerging digital technologies to deepen its connection with its fan base.
