The eNASCAR College iRacing Series partnership has been extended for the 2025–26 season.
NASCAR, iRacing, and PlayVS have renewed their partnership for the 2025–26 season of the eNASCAR College iRacing Series. This collaboration aims to maintain a vital talent pipeline for professional sim racing while providing students with scholarship opportunities and exposure to careers in the motorsports and gaming industries. The upcoming season will feature a revamped competitive format, new tracks, and increased prize pools, with further details expected later in the summer.
Since its inception in 2022, the series has engaged nearly 5,000 students across more than 300 U.S. colleges. The program serves as a proven feeder system for professional competition, evidenced by participants like Logan Clampitt and Steven Wilson, who have successfully transitioned from collegiate racing to the top-tier eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series. By leveraging iRacing’s simulation technology, the series maintains high competitive standards while remaining accessible to students competing from home or campus facilities.
The 2025–26 season marks a significant operational shift as the competition moves to the PlayVS platform. This transition follows PlayVS’s recent acquisition of Playfly College Esports and Generation Esports, a consolidation that grants the company oversight of a scholastic-to-collegiate pipeline encompassing over 5,500 K–12 institutions and 900 colleges across North America. For PlayVS, the partnership is a strategic effort to anchor its collegiate offerings in established, high-integrity sports intellectual property. For NASCAR, the series remains a foundational element of its broader esports strategy, which spans grassroots, regional, and international levels of competition.
