Create free accounthello and welcome to pocket Gabriel busies youtube channel my name is John Jordan and the game are looking at today is from disney interactive and it is let me get it all right it is marvel avengers Alliance 2 so the clue is this is a sequel to a game that came out quite a long time ago in a few years ago on facebook vs is the kind of sequel and this is the mobile first that's kind of just how the ecosystem has changed when it comes to social mobile games so what we're going to show today is just a just a mission of basic mission I'm not massively fired for going to see top top right hand corner on level 4 so this is there's no type of things I'm doing here this is just the kind of a common-or-garden mission but to start this is the screen so we can see as they tend to be in these kind of sees kind of card collection style RPGs now becoming
very popular squad-based 3 by 3 so we can see here the three characters I've got so my leader is Hawkeye and then we the frontline one is a Spider Woman so there's a two characters that I've unlocked I mean they're the basic characters everyone gets to begin with and then we have this too sure who he is who the team up character that some look good ears here we go come on the doom 2 142 so this is um we can see here you read the screen so as I play the game more I get allies which are characters from other players in the game in this case there's no allies available for Team up don't have actually many cameras so the game just give me a team up this guy and he's going to be so those are giving my three characters when I start the game and if you look in reserves I've got vision so he's a character again how I've unlocked so if I wanted to I guess I could swap out Spider Woman put him in basically this is kind of quite nice mechanic that if one of my characters is killed during the
or whatever is it incapacitate during the during the mission he'll drop in or any point at I can so I can swap swap him out like detecting thing as you can see this I have reserves of up to three so even though it's three-on-three battle at any one point I can have six characters kind of available to me and you can say I'm gonna fight the sins my sinister syndicate it's gonna take up certain amount of energy so let's fire it off so this takes a bit of loading in this game I have to say it's not the fastest i think quite why it's doing all this server stuff but there we go there's my characters living seas like a nice 3d kind of characters cel-shaded if you see the top of the screen we can see it like it typically what we see it's turn based but there's a kind of an active time element to who to who ever gets whoever's going first we can see Hawkeyes first up if we look at the bottom we can see there's different
elements he can even play different so we have his basic his basic Shore shop it tells us what it does but is it wasn't quite interesting about this game is that and it's kind of the depth of the game but cannot really necessarily hidden depth but compared to other games innocence in this field it's very focused on buffs and debuffs straight from the word go so even though I do this short which is his basic move we can see one enemy will be exposed to a physical debuff and it will decrease their defense by twenty percent so put this one hit up so multi arrows you can see that's an air attack targets everyone and again there's a very long debuff for everyone the commander level 10 i can't select because i have become level 10 to unlock it then this one here it's a careful aim and that is so it's a buff i can only give it to myself it says target self and it increases my my damage recklessly by forty percent for the next attack so we can see immediately I could just attack these
goons but immediately we can see there's a deeper tactical kind of level of stuff going on there and this is either actually even the case even if you go before your intermission you can actually select so for this one here this multi arrow I actually have three different option I could I can choose one of those three so we can immediately see there's this kind of layering of complexity and that's going on there there is the typical character classes as well so the rock paper scissors are some classes better than others but is much more advanced than just I've got a heavy attack up a light attack let's choose one of them so in fact we'll kind of show how this is how I'm playing at moment so I'm going to select its careful aim its bit odd i can only play i can only buff my character so theoretically actually just press that any good buffing automatically both for consistency some that you can apply to other characters as we'll see question so i'm gonna apply it to hear that he's gonna take careful aim but it's not going to do a move so now there's a baddest dunham move on the dim gai so
here we have spider-woman a similar thing so she's got a venom blast that's debuff wound and that's heavy damage over time to one person this is again one enemy it's a star next action is delayed it says comment you know if i apply stand over over again it usually effectiveness again then she's got this one so this is a metabolic boost one hero so i can target anyone and just speed them up so again is not gonna be an attack that will do that and let's try let's speed up this guy here so he's now speeded up you see so really we can see under all these characters even on the enemy characters there's kind of buffs and debuffs already happening so I'll see the things in green are buffs that improves what we're going to do improves our characteristics and and red ones are more negative and so are there I'm not play this character before so oh it's Drax and so Jackson do the knee to the face he can probably bigger ass aces if the targets wounded so really we're
kind of seeing how you might want to use these things and his one is rage he's gonna restore health over time and generate rage so because I've done this till we had a lot of those two this is the shower this is quite funny the way they gonna shout angrily there we go say that the other guys done until woman sat on the air attack he's done they we can come see I was playing out I've done any attacks yet but now hopefully these attacks we can already see this guy's more vulnerable so even though it's an area tech I had to press on one of them so let's take him out so that confirm owns he stunned and see we can already see now you know underneath underneath these characters at the amount of kind of stuff building up there slashing their / / again so it's gonna be an attack class advantage as well too when he's down so we can kind of see why we didn't need to text right away but but after one level of little kind of like stopping our characters the attacks would work more valuable so one again okay I'm going to go to convert
that so that was only the first wave let's say this is very early so there's not a lot of technics going on here there's not gonna be a boss this is just these are just goons took a just a single one that both vulnerable so okay taking damage would give him damage to his health is recovering because we gave him that buffer early on it's good in the knee to the face and resistant though so not say there won't be any damage but the damn it would be less than if they were vulnerable she can do a venom blast he's wounded he's good so he didn't die immediately but they know the time the balloons came so no point doing a man aerotek probably he's not that path and some don't really need to buffer selves again cuz he's just gonna get though this is now interesting so and by the woman actually doesn't have any offensive moves to do because she kind of used up that stamina so she can do is support move she's actually not a great character which is great headed
for support mood he's not a very characterful fenton Mythbusters generally ends up running how it moves quickly but as I say this is it very early in the game so we go you know pretty pretty straightforward old visions leveled up even though I didn't use him he was going to part the team FSS to be expected I've been I've got got some I want some things I've won some basis of in-game resources and then Ally request so um so yeah commander doom 2 for that 2142 is obviously a player and draft is the character I shouldn't know that I don't know more modern characters very well the way so there we go so that that's a basic just very quickly to show you a basic mission there's nothing very complex here you can see basically I've got to play through and some more missions and at the end I'll get to the boss will be rhino so I'll fight the goons probably in 30 maybe four ways to end the end bottle after kind of fight is Ryan M so obviously rhino is part of the Marvel IP
range so there we go so that is a marvel alliance avengers Alliance 2 which has really just shown you the kind of this one error this is kind of the game player will not look at any meta game at all and it's much deeper than certainly I imagined and yeah in a surprisingly good way I think I think the one interesting thing is I think because you can see there I've been talking so I've been there things a bit slower it's quite slow and quite manual so there's no autoplay or anything like that which may be a problem in terms of how people now play games so all to play very popular in China Asia and pretty much how people they focus on the game plan just focus on the meth again this is clear the designers of this game we've made a decision to take a step back from that we'll see if that was it is the correct decision or not I guess in about months time just to see what their their their first cohort of the night of the e30 retention is like anyway um thanks

Marvel Avengers Alliance 2, a mobile-first sequel to the original Facebook title, distinguishes itself within the squad-based card collection RPG genre through a heavy emphasis on tactical depth. The game utilizes a three-by-three combat system where players manage a primary team of three heroes, supplemented by a reserve pool of up to three additional characters who can be swapped in during missions. This structure allows for a total of six available characters per encounter, providing flexibility if a unit is incapacitated.
The core gameplay loop centers on a sophisticated system of buffs and debuffs that significantly influence combat outcomes. Rather than relying solely on basic attacks, players must strategically apply status effects to manipulate enemy defenses, speed, and health. For example, specific abilities can reduce enemy defense by 20 percent, delay subsequent actions, or apply damage-over-time effects. Conversely, players can buff their own units to increase damage output by 40 percent or restore health over time. This layering of complexity requires players to carefully sequence their moves, as certain attacks gain increased effectiveness when targets are already suffering from specific debuffs.
Despite the prevalence of automated gameplay in the modern mobile market, the title intentionally avoids an autoplay feature, opting for a manual, turn-based approach that prioritizes player decision-making. While this design choice fosters a deeper tactical experience, it results in a slower, more deliberate pace. The game incorporates standard RPG elements, such as character classes and elemental advantages, but elevates them through the constant management of positive and negative status indicators. Ultimately, the game represents a design philosophy that favors active engagement with combat mechanics over the passive, meta-focused progression common in many contemporary free-to-play mobile titles.
