An analysis of LinkedIn employee profiles indicates that approximately 34 core staff members departed the studio during that year, representing a loss of roughly half the team. Among those who exited were key personnel, including the game director, the technical director, the lead animator, the lead gameplay engineer, and the majority of the senior design team.
Following these departures, the studio’s headcount reportedly fell to fewer than 50 employees, despite the addition of roughly a dozen new hires over the same 12-month period. Former employees have cited factors such as slow progress and a perceived lack of creative freedom as primary drivers for their departure.
