DreamHack Birmingham 2026 has secured Samsung as an official partner for its upcoming festival, scheduled for March 27–29 at the Birmingham NEC. The partnership centers on the creation of a bespoke Galaxy Café, an activation hub designed to integrate mobile gaming into the festival experience. Attendees will have access to Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra devices and televisions, with the space hosting community competitions, VIP challenges, and various promotional rewards, including hardware prizes and merchandise vouchers.
The event marks a significant return for the DreamHack brand to the United Kingdom, representing its first major esports presence in the region since 2015. Beyond the partnership activations, the festival serves as a major hub for competitive gaming, with the ESL FACEIT Group confirming a total prize pool exceeding $1.7 million across a diverse tournament lineup. Key competitions include the $1 million ESL One Birmingham Dota 2 event, the Call of Duty League Major II ($365,000), and the Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence Series Finals ($100,000).
Additional tournament programming includes the DreamHack Open featuring Halo Infinite, the F1 Sim Racing World Championship, and various fighting game titles such as Street Fighter 6 and FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves. While the event features a robust professional esports schedule, it is positioned as a broader gaming lifestyle festival, incorporating creator meet-ups, cosplay, and live entertainment to engage the community.
