Challengermode Selected as Official Platform Partner of IESF World Esports Championship Qualifiers

The International Esports Federation (IESF) has appointed the Sweden-based esports platform Challengermode as the official platform partner for the global qualifiers of its 15th World Esports Championship. This partnership aims to streamline the qualification process for national teams worldwide, leading up to the main event scheduled for August in Iasi, Romania. While the financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the collaboration marks a significant operational step for the IESF in managing its international tournament structure.

Beginning May 1, 2023, Challengermode will host regional qualifiers across Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania. The platform will facilitate competition across a diverse portfolio of titles, including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, PUBG Mobile, TEKKEN 7, eFootball, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. By leveraging Challengermode’s infrastructure, the IESF intends to provide a unified digital environment for national teams to compete for spots in the final championship.

This partnership underscores the IESF’s focus on scaling its global tournament operations through specialized digital platforms. By centralizing the regional qualification stages, the organization seeks to improve the accessibility and management of its multi-title competition series. The initiative reflects a broader industry trend toward utilizing dedicated tournament platforms to handle the logistical complexities of large-scale, multi-regional esports events.
