The 2026 AI and Games Conference is scheduled to take place from November 10 to 11, 2026, at the Here East innovation campus in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Organized by the non-profit Game AI Events CIC, the conference serves as a specialized forum for professionals, researchers, and hobbyists to discuss the practical application of artificial intelligence within the video game industry. The event aims to foster meaningful discourse on both traditional game AI systems and modern machine learning, while actively countering industry hype with a focus on professional best practices.
The conference has experienced significant growth since its inception, having previously hosted over 600 delegates from more than 250 global companies, including major industry players such as Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Ubisoft, and Sony AI. Due to this increased interest and capacity constraints at previous venues, the move to the Here East campus is intended to provide better infrastructure, including dedicated overflow areas for session streaming. The event maintains a competitive selection process for speakers, which saw a 35% acceptance rate in the previous year.
The call for speaker submissions is currently open and will remain active until August 3, 2026. Early-bird tickets are available for purchase, with subsidized options provided for students and independent developers. While the organization has seen its operational budget increase by three to four times since its inaugural 2024 event, the long-term strategic goal remains focused on deepening the quality of discourse and community engagement rather than aggressive scaling of attendee numbers. The conference continues to be supported by a range of industry sponsors, including Havok, Riot Games, and Qualcomm.
