Eyewind’s 'Brain Out' secured nearly 41 million installs worldwide. Its strongest adoption was in the United States and Russia.
The mobile gaming market experienced significant activity in December 2019, with Brain Out emerging as the most downloaded title worldwide, securing approximately 41 million installs. The game saw its strongest adoption in the United States and Russia, which accounted for 10 percent and 9 percent of its total downloads, respectively. Hunter Assassin followed closely in second place with over 40 million installs, driven largely by the Indian market, which represented 33 percent of its total download volume.
The top five most installed games for the month were completed by Johnny Trigger, Sand Balls, and Ink Inc. The broader top 10 rankings included two additional new entries: Turbo Stars, which generated over 21 million downloads, and Sky Roller, which reached more than 19 million unique installs. While these titles dominated the global charts, the Apple App Store featured unique top-performing entries, including Push’em all, Sunshine Pig Farm, and Pocket World 3D, which did not appear in the overall global top 10.
These findings are based on data from the Store Intelligence platform, covering worldwide downloads across the App Store and Google Play for the period of December 1, 2019, through December 31, 2019. The methodology focuses on unique installs and excludes pre-installed applications, Apple-developed apps, and third-party Android marketplaces. The data reflects aggregate performance across all versions of the identified applications to provide a comprehensive view of global mobile gaming trends during the final month of the year.
