the team what I belong is the only team working across the two companies and we'll go in a few of these details as we go moutoku net is a distribution platform for adult games think of Google Play congregate and steam all rolled in one store dedicated to other games we serve free-to-play and paid games across both mobile PC browser Android apks MPC Grande's anything with a completed our game can come and self publish their games on the dock on the other hand not a co publisher which is your investment and full publisher services to do we focus on finding and funding high quality games from the highest quality teams so uh now that you already know what we do or what we have here no taku an otaku Buddhism let's talk about the what is another game so according to the ESRB idle games can be defined as games with
explicit nudity or sexy scenes these games have been given their rating eh-oh for adults only so you may ask is this a new thing and the question the answer is not at all far from it actually let her Larry if you river this game Leisure Suit Larry an absolute classic idea spanning over 30 years in the industry what about this one the joy of sex in 1993 is one of the first games to ever receive the prestige 8 all rating take a look at this one GTA san andreas in 2004 did not hide their idle references and last but not least The Witcher 3 in 2015 integrated sexually scenes directly into their triple-a story a brave and a portable step for a mainstream company so after five years now we're here so we
are now the largest games company in the world dedicated to idle games oh how did we do it let's check this video hello everyone pleasure be here today F Tremblay Oakland spa I am the business development manager for the PACU [Music] [Music]
we talked a little bit about new taku we're gonna talk a little bit about what we do how we'll do it why we do it and what's in it for you guys ready [Music] [Music] hey dude thumbs up [Music] alright so let's continue with the presentation so we achieve all of these by meeting talented developers with foreign games no decorative net has quickly become the world's largest dedicated HTM plus idle gaming forever so then the question is what why make
games for Matata let's take a look at the industry today let's take a look at the largest stores Google Play steam at the App Store while addressing teams who want to make real revenue share on their games so let's start by talking about this team i hear this theme developers confuse about the lack of disability and low purchases on steam i wanted to realize that they were they 648 game to release on the sea in that month over 30,000 games are available in steam and 20,000 of those were released since 2017 what about Google Google play's no better competition it now stands at 400,000 games too strong in 2020 and after is also extremely crowded while looking at the size of the market we know that is less than 1 percent of chance of success when releasing on the
Main Street bathrooms in all of these stores without a big publisher with even larger marketing budget the chance of even being seen are slim to none we're not making this up every developer has felt this us included so no taku how well do we perform let's take a look at her five years story so in 2015 we launched with three games of approval market test 1 million pledges by the end of the year 2016 we open up new taku space store service all stores from are up and running 5 million players 16 free-to-play games by the end of the year 2017 we saw the launch of our investment arm and new taco dotnet breaks past hundred fifty a games paid plus free to play 2018 we
invested over 10 million dollars we target the LGTBQ audience and work closely with some of the biggest influences in the world 25 million players and in 2019 we close the year with 50 million players with live Android and desktop client storefronts showcasing over 60 free-to-play games in this year 2020 new taco will kick off with our full site redesigned what about traffic we are the 355th most visited website on the Internet 258 in the US and turned it in the other entertainment and 6 in the most visited game in destination let's talk about traffic in terms of countries so our users are global but our main focus is what we describe as a premium countries the US Western Europe Central Europe the conscious when we see the most active and highest spending players
let's talk about the competition what does the competition look like the reality is that there is a very little the competitor barrier is shown here they're not open offered free to play titles which is where we make the Dragons share for overall revenues we created your market and we're dominating it here you can see the growth of new tacos games catalog as mentioned multiple times the biggest opportunity lies with a free-to-play pc and mobile games which represent on a small percentage of the overall listings but the largest percentage of our revenues now let's talk about new taco publishing who we are in what we do so we noticed in the very early days of new taco that there were a very few teams making idle games so what's the best way to fix this money at the end of 2016 and a start of 2017 we open up our investment fund to accelerate the growth
of new taco and it's really paying off at the end of 2017 with invested nearly three million in dollars in 256 products in 2019 alone we invested a million dollars by reading into 67 projects this is not a slowing down yet and we're anticipating these years will be even bigger and we always say it starts with a great game always how do we do it it always starts with a great game this is not about gaming fine boy this is about adding the current adult content into grain farm games so let's check out this video
[Music] [Music] [Music]
my name is Austin
all right let's continue with the presentation so now let's talk about the key companies to a successful auto gain so or key components to success first adult integration how and where do we start to include idle content within the game that's a very important question second proper monetization our content allows for creative monetization strategies it provides a whole new layer and content within the game that we can start monetizing number three actively Bob's idle game is her home referred events and new content keep them active keep them engaged for fun and compelling meta game very important point how do we make it a sticky and keep those users coming back for more
Dayton seems relationship building systems this is where the magic really starts happening so now what type of games are we looking to fund and offer or publishing services but always cash feel free to play games with collection that's our mechanics right now casual fun easy to pick up games are dominating need hardcore PvP based on alternate or recurrent marketing who say alternatively if you do not require funding for your game note I could've met is a distribution channel and we accept self-publishing from teams who want to go it alone for either free to play or play games we do not invest into paid games but we do offer pollution opportunities and enables teams to leverage an otaku pollution ban this is reserved for the highest quality paid games now let's take a look a note echo publishing as a esoteric partnership because that's what we get where you were win attack
so yes first of all let me say that we assigned a project manager and a game designer to each and every project before we provide back-end management tools hosting these clowns localization marketing all the way through an art and content narration we know what works best and how to make it a sexy Labor's crucial to any successful for two-player game including data-driven pricing models and event content planning support community management newsletters and email retention campaigns influencing marketing one to war with some of the biggest influencers this is the power of ethical pollution all of these come at no additional overhead cost and we require this for the development teams to focus on making the best game possible that's all another interesting thing here nitocris part of a very large Idol family we have lots of opportunities to work directly with her partner products to create games with the biggest brands in adult
entertainment I'm not sure you haven't seen their or heard about these brands in the past but trust me they're really powerful ones and let's take a quick look at the interesting success story so here we have matt CEO luncheon in 2016 or merely clip and congregate the opportunity a perfect case of taking a mainstream game a really great addictive game and turning to a product fit for the idol market it launched it too it hides the a you of 3,000 users the retention numbers were other 50% they 120 percent 97 it were exactly the type of solid foundations were looking for the challenge design and deploy a real identification strategy now after six months of development we launched top CEO to covered the a you about 90 mm in
a daily gross revenue increase of 15 times you see I told you it always starts with a great game top CEO made more revenue on it's no taco launch than the mad CEO didn't in the entire lifetime as the mainstream game over one year later I can tell you he's a very happy developer now we spoke about [ __ ] CEO with the closed 2000 a.k.a da you booty calls over five million registered players in its launch and in the middle we have project Judy or a most successful launching the tacos history late July 2018 launch it with a masive retention and completion rates and it grows in monthly immersive revenues of over $1,000,000 so the opportunity is right now and we want to hear from you so what do you suggest first place election up on top of
free-to-play games second review of your portfolio free-to-play games and finally get in touch with our be steps will be attending the show so we'll be available to attend any of your questions or or to check out your games I'll finish today on a video provided by your marketing team with the most up-to-date numbers over 450 games over 50 million players more than 2 billion all time visits games of eye level in 7 languages in additional to our marketing efforts such as even such as entice our or every notable console a lot of things that we do from a PR department from a marketing area so uh let me share with you this video [Music]
[Music] [Laughter] [Music]
[Music] [Music] all right so that's all now thank you very much this continual and all of you had some questions hi there yes so yeah thank you
for that talker fascinating insight into a world I suppose that some people might not know anything about yeah so we do have some questions though and like one question from Walid is what type of game can be adulterer fide are there is there anything that you guys kind of look for when you're taking an existing game and altering it okay that's a pretty good question actually I would say that every single game could or is could be identified like but the thing is it doesn't mean that it's gonna work so basically right now we need to look at what your audience wants to play so basically right now this type of games like I said any casual game like RPGs you know a clickers so this the type of games that are very casual and easy to play but including all these dementia game where you can interact with the characters in order to you know to service relationship with it with the crafter so you can start releasing the
content so that basically that they type of games were looking for and of course as I said free-to-play games always for funding free-to-play yeah okay I mean that's that's really interesting I mean I'll just take that I mean Anthony said that sometimes the quality of the slides wasn't dropped off a little for him so the bassy some people were wondering if it's possible if you're gonna be in the discord or anything if there's any way to link to the talk for people who might be interested in learning more or anything like that so that might be some link you know that people might be interested in talking about in in the discord and then yeah I mean one question I had I suppose is obviously an adult content can be you know controversial for some do you and and you know and obviously the adults-only rating and in different countries the restrictive ratings obviously must pose some challenges for you do you find that you have to do different types of
marketing and sales to the rest of the industry is it a very different model to what everyone else is doing or do you actually find it's it's the same well I would say in terms of content we have a kind of an or compliance area in there to check all the content so we manage our game so I would say that we take care of that so because you know as you say other content is a very wide word or yes you can find everything there but no we are we manage pretty carefully in terms of content so but I would say that in terms of the content and in terms of marketing yes we have a kind of different thing compared with the rest of the platforms because we have a huge a sales team you know working behind the platter from behind the game so we're taking care of the user acquisition with all these things that the promotion the marketing etc so if you put all your game in any other platform it's like you know it's like a it's like a window shopping right
but if you put our game here in this platter for me Sakai is different it's like if we will acquire all the user we will look for them we will hunt them so basically that is what we reach through these numbers in our platform which are very different than the rest of the planet so you could see and presentation oh we've got we've got a few more minutes and actually many questions have started to roll in now so we'll see if we can piss off as many of them as possible yeah first Molly's asked I noticed in the map that new taco is most popular in the USA in Europe but given the content is new tack retargeting such active in Japan actually I would say that no because there are other platforms managing the gates in Japanese yes I will say we are the kings in the rest of the world and this side and we leave them there manage the Japanese a market of course is different because of the language basically the language barrier is the main difference somebody who we started working in this side and then we are we're the largest one here so by going there yeah no that's fair
enough another question we got is do you feel there is a stigma associated without all games always always of course but again as long as we manage in a responsibly way and you know always allow in and out of people for adult content only we'll be fine of course and again we take care of the content that we launch in our games absolutely it's a priority for us yeah and the next question about this is two more and then we'll let you get on your way but we've got welcomed these games be promoted and what methods are used to - monetize them outside of Google Play in the iOS ecosystems um first of all I would say that of course we our games are not and neither on Google nor App Store because we have or plataform first of all so we promote or games not only nor plataform but also through the social networks we have a very active social network in management so we
promote our games in this commune or community remember we're talking about 50 right now like a fifty six million people register people on our Platinum so we're always in touch with them promoting or games touching sending emails newsletters etc so we have a community very active we keep them engaged to the mm and to keep them playing games yeah okay Anna last of all how can we pitch a game do you accept mobile games or only PC games to adult I very the question of course first of all reaches out as a piece that we are always open and to evaluate your proposals second of course we're looking for mainly mobile free-to-play games I am PC browser as well of course so as I said we we manage mobile a undulate Decay mobile browser PC browser and pissflap so these are the part of what we're looking for again for free-to-play game so of course you have something that could match with our audience but what we're looking for come on over unless they can look at
that yeah and I think that's a really great place to stop you know if obviously hopefully you will be in the discord later on throughout the afternoon or anything and if yeah I'm sure if there's people who were interested in adulterer fiying bear games if that's a word there now I'm sure you'll be there it's basically what we're trying to do what we offering is another another put a option another option for your games you have good games but sometimes you know they lack of disability in these over saturated mainstream platforms it's very stuff the competition is stopped there so come here come to this blue ocean so you can find better possibilities and we will fund your game so why not yeah fantastic well thank you for joining us today and you know thank you for being a part of our sponsors for the show as well you know it's you know so thank you so much really sure well thank you really yeah an interesting talk that delves into the sort of things we sometimes don't hear about so yeah thank you very much
let's enjoy the show okay yeah yeah thank you bye bye bye you
The adult gaming industry represents a significant, often overlooked segment of the broader digital entertainment market. Nutaku, a prominent distribution and publishing platform, operates as a specialized ecosystem for adult-rated titles, providing an alternative to mainstream storefronts like Steam and Google Play. By focusing on free-to-play mechanics and high-quality engagement, the platform addresses the discoverability challenges developers face in oversaturated mainstream markets, where success rates for independent titles are often less than one percent.
The business model centers on two primary pillars: a distribution platform for self-published titles and an investment arm that funds and supports high-potential projects. The platform emphasizes the integration of adult content into established, addictive gameplay loops—such as casual RPGs or clickers—to drive retention and monetization. Success is measured through data-driven strategies, including event planning, localization, and aggressive user acquisition, which distinguishes the platform from passive storefronts. By managing the entire user journey, the company reports significant growth, reaching 50 million registered players by 2019 and maintaining a strong presence in premium markets across the United States and Europe.
The industry faces inherent challenges, including social stigma and complex regulatory environments regarding adult-only ratings. To mitigate these, the company employs rigorous internal compliance and content management to ensure responsible distribution. While mainstream platforms remain crowded and competitive, this niche sector offers a "blue ocean" opportunity for developers to leverage dedicated marketing support and funding. The platform continues to prioritize casual, free-to-play mobile and PC browser games, seeking to transform mainstream-style mechanics into successful adult-oriented products through strategic partnerships and professional publishing services.
