This milestone includes revenue from Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, and League of Legends: Wild Rift.
Riot Games has successfully expanded its footprint into the mobile gaming sector, with cumulative global revenue across its mobile portfolio surpassing $100 million. This milestone reflects the studio's strategic diversification beyond its traditional PC-based offerings, a transition bolstered by the influence of its majority stakeholder, Tencent. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the performance of three primary titles: Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, and League of Legends: Wild Rift.
League of Legends: Wild Rift serves as the primary driver of this financial success, accounting for more than half of the total mobile revenue. Since its October 2020 release, the title has generated nearly $65 million in revenue alongside 46.3 million downloads. In comparison, Teamfight Tactics has secured approximately $28 million in revenue with over 15 million lifetime downloads, while Legends of Runeterra has contributed $16.2 million. Geographically, the United States leads in total player spending, whereas Brazil ranks highest in terms of total download volume.
Riot Games continues to prioritize mobile expansion as a core component of its long-term growth strategy. The studio has confirmed plans to bring its tactical shooter, Valorant, to mobile platforms to compete with established titles in the genre. Furthermore, the company is leveraging its intellectual property across various media, including an animated series and the development of a League of Legends-based MMORPG, to deepen engagement with its expanding global player base.
