Pocket Gamer's Mobile Mixer 2012 - Welcome to Tampere

David the lower temporarily ya know okay sorry not fast oh gee I like this that's as far as it goes and finish I'm afraid but um thank you so much so many of you coming along here I know we haven't quite got the party bus from Helsinki but they will be here I promised half an hour we think 15 15 20 minutes yeah we'll start out with this is only our third ever PG mobile mixer and it's our first-ever Pocket Gamer event in Finland so we're we're pretty excited to be here and it would be made very welcome so we're very happy to be here um I say the mobile mixer is pretty new thing for us I don't ever if any of you go to anything major trade shows you're probably been to one of our parties we're quite good at throwing bigger office parties and gave them together but this is our attempt to do something a little bit more serious so mixing a bit of business with the plan and the

networking um isn't that working event though and I think that's one of things I hope we do well is connect people apart from making amazing editorial coverage thanks John Jordan anyone talk to you later you get it Spock ended up this the tagline for tonight is actually think think drink connect so I kind of believe that all four elements are necessary for great networking event so tonight find some cool speakers to hopefully stimulate gray matter and then there's lots of free booze to kill the gray matter and then yeah hopefully afterwards we'll all or connect and share business cards and get along so we've got about five six big spin today we'll have some expert analysis from analytics and the guys at flurry we've got the king of social mobile lack Oscar the Hat Clark it will be yet so that bow take about um we've also got a symbiote

everyone like to parties so this year we're going to be holding about ten parties so if you're going to major event and you haven't have an invite one of our parties need to die on our case and say why the hell might not buy it and come along an amazing party at GDC just about six month people there it's crazy and we also help these mobile mixes a lot this year so if anybody wants to get involved other response old speakers come along make sure you have some meat ad network cough cough by advertising if we've got me at loop run advertising network or over 50 leading sites in this space I would grow my own device advertising a lot as well we also have a free app promotion service we're going about that I've got some new people so if John Jordan was he's still a guy's tools pocket beers but Kristen read his interview ago was joined us recently as so Tony Womack so the whole host of new people talk to hassle and

finally we have a cup of cool new things coming up with working on a thing called legal business network which will hopefully be a really cool way to interact with other business in space and get loads of free stuff from us and keeps that from us at least such as three job ads and advertising discounts and I'll be launching hopefully in q2 and in q4 be launching our first pop conference in london i will be talking about that a lot very soon
