OverActive Media, a publicly traded esports and gaming organization, has appointed Neil Duffy to a key leadership role.
OverActive Media, a publicly traded North American esports and gaming organization, has appointed Neil Duffy as its new Chief Commercial Officer for the Americas. This strategic hire is intended to bolster the company’s revenue and marketing operations across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Duffy brings extensive industry experience to the role, having previously held executive positions at CSL Esports, Tiidal Gaming, and WorldGaming.
Duffy joins OverActive Media following a three-year tenure as Chief Revenue Officer at eFuse, where he managed corporate development and strategic partnerships. While transitioning to his new position, Duffy will maintain a strategic advisory role at eFuse to support the company’s leadership and board of directors. His departure is part of a broader trend of executive turnover at eFuse, which has recently seen the exits of other senior staff members, including the former head of marketing and the director of partnerships.
OverActive Media continues to maintain a significant presence in the professional esports landscape, operating several prominent franchises. Its portfolio includes teams in the Call of Duty League, the League of Legends EMEA Championship, and the Valorant Champions Tour, as well as participation in the Overwatch Champions Series. By leveraging Duffy’s background in brand and publisher relations, the company aims to enhance its commercial footprint and drive growth within these competitive ecosystems.
