How to Add an App to Tenjin Using Claude | MCP Server Tutorial

Welcome to our MCP server session on how to do configuration on TANGENT using our TANGENT MCP server. I'm Jaz. I am the PM at TANGENT who's owning this product and I'll walk you through some of our setups. This may not be a comprehensive video because every setup is user or org specific, but I will walk you through some of the tools that we offer. Okay, so how can Claude help me today? And FYI, I'm using Claude desktop. You can use Claude AI. You can use Claude CLI. That's up to you. You can just follow our instructions on how to set up one of those, but I'm going to be focusing on Claude desktop on my MacBook. So, first thing I'm going to ask Claude is show me all the tools in TANGENT MCP server. And this might take a bit longer, but bear with me. Okay, that was not too

bad. So, apps, we have create apps, get apps, list apps, update apps, and so on. Different campaigns, you can create callbacks. You can list ad accounts, channels, right? You could block certain site IDs, list them, clear them. We have all these tools, which is amazing cuz no one else offers these. So, let's start with something basic. I am new and I don't know what kind of setup I need to do here. Just exploring what's possible. Okay, perfect. So, we do have a ton of skills, FYI, that is provided with you know, our MCP server and I'm hoping that it does use

some of these skills, okay? So, it will give you an overview of first you create an app, you connect at networks or channels, you generate tracking links, you set up callbacks, define events, you do reporting. All right, let's do let's create an app. Let's create an app called hello everybody from Claude desktop. So, this is an, let's say, iOS app. All right, let's provide my bundle ID and I'm just going to create some random ones, okay? tangent and hello everybody.

Cool. So, we have app name hello everybody from Claude and bundle ID platform is this and app ID is this. Now, we're going to go and we're going to check that we actually created this. If this is a new apps page that we're exploring, you may you might not have this available to you right now. But, there we go, guys. We did create it. Hello everybody from Claude desktop. So, this is perfect. And then, I'm going to show you something else. All right. So, I'm happy my app was created and then I'm just going to try different tools, you know, for apps. So, I'm going to say, show me all my apps. We have 76 apps and it doesn't want to show everything, but that's fine. But it did create uh my app. We talked about that. And what else? You can also delete apps,

update apps, list apps, and you can also inspect app integration.
