Market Entry. FlyQuest is facilitating BRMUD's entry into the U.S. skincare market through this new partnership.
North American esports organization FlyQuest has entered into a strategic partnership with the Korean skincare brand BRMUD to introduce the brand to the United States market. This collaboration represents a novel intersection between the K-beauty industry and competitive gaming, positioning skincare as a performance-oriented ritual for modern gamers. While the financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the partnership aims to integrate BRMUD’s products into the broader esports ecosystem through targeted content creation, live event activations, and the distribution of curated prize packs.
The initiative is spearheaded by Donghwan Kim, a former StarCraft II champion and current CEO of the Los Angeles-based marketing agency KoMa Media, who serves as the U.S. Head of Marketing for BRMUD. The campaign emphasizes a cultural shift in the gaming community, framing personal grooming as an essential component of a player's professional and personal identity. By aligning with FlyQuest, BRMUD seeks to leverage the organization’s established presence in titles such as Counter-Strike 2 and Marvel Rivals, as well as its dedicated women’s team, FlyQuest RED, to reach a diverse and engaged audience.
This deal expands FlyQuest’s existing commercial portfolio, which already includes partnerships with brands such as Logitech G, NZXT, and Olipop. By facilitating this market entry, FlyQuest continues to diversify its revenue streams beyond traditional endemic gaming hardware sponsors, focusing instead on lifestyle and wellness categories that resonate with the evolving demographics of the competitive gaming sector.
