The Evolution Championship Series (Evo) has finalized plans for its 2025 flagship event, scheduled for August 1–3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The tournament serves as a global hub for the fighting game community, drawing participants from over 60 countries to compete across eight primary arena titles and an extensive secondary lineup. Organizers anticipate tens of thousands of in-person attendees and project a digital viewership exceeding 6.5 million fans.
The event features a robust commercial strategy, integrating numerous brand partners through interactive activations. Chipotle returns with a multi-channel engagement campaign, including a physical "Burrito Bus" and a digital "Burrito Meter" on Twitch that rewards viewers with giveaways. Other notable partnerships include AT&T, which is hosting 1v1 "Crown of the Hill" tournaments, and Nacon, which is providing premium audio equipment and hosting hands-on demos for its upcoming title, Hell Is Us. Additional sponsors such as White Claw, Zenni Optical, Red Bull, Voodoo Ranger IPA, Under Armour, and Grand Archive TCG are contributing through merchandise, prize pools, and specialized pop-up experiences.
Beyond competitive play, the event includes a curated Artist Alley, a fighting game museum exhibit, and various meet-and-greet opportunities. The tournament lineup spans a diverse range of titles, including Street Fighter 6, TEKKEN 8, and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, alongside an extended roster of classic and contemporary games. By combining high-stakes esports competition with extensive brand-led consumer activations, the event aims to solidify its position as the premier annual gathering for the global fighting game industry.
