Is that Archerro one and then Archer 2? So basically Survivor IO a lot of rewarded ads archer a lot of rewarded ads. Archer 2
some Yeah. Bargo rewarded ads.
So basically
the more they abandon the rewarded ads
it's worse it gets.
Yeah. Worse it gets.
What is this causality?
I mean what do you expect? He plays games for ads. It's 4 a.m. and we're rolling the dice. Mate drops knowledge made of golden eyes. Felix with ads making those [music] coins rise. Jack up designs worlds chasing the sky. We're the two and a half gamers the midnight crew talking UA ads and game design [music] too. Mat Felix Shak bringing the insight. We're rocking those vibes till the early daylight. But Jua [music] master eyes on the prize tracking data through the cyerspace skies. Felix stacks colors like a wizard in disguise. Jackcrafts lift us to the high. Two and a half gamers talking smack. Slow hockey sick. Got your back. Ads are beautiful.
They light the way. [music] Click it fast. Don't delay. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. [music] Uh-huh. [music] This Hello. Now you can start your great uh great intro, Mr. Felix. I mean, I'll say it again. This studio has forsaken me. This used to be the best studio for ads and like hybrid monetization, and now it's just
stupid midcore.
Please, more tears.
Please, more tears. Yeah,
stupid midcore
[ __ ] stuff that Yakob gets excited about. This is the opposite what I get excited about. It's just,
you know what was what was really amazing? So, I I saw this and I was like, "Oh my god, there's the button for double the reward for watching the the ad." And it's like, "No,
it stops.
It's actually double the reward, but you need to pay or you can you can get like this whatever was uh the extra
consumable."
Consumable. Yeah. I was like, "Oh, you motherfuckers." Like, this is Felix is not going to be happy.
Zero as this zero. Zero. If you take my childhood Yatsi game and just, you know, try to at least have the common decency to put some ads in there, you know.
Yeah. Anyway, I mean,
common decency.
Common decency. Al although I'm not sure like where would I add them. I mean, I know where, but whatever. Oh, you should level. So, heads 13. I'm actually like the 10 number 10.
Yeah. So,
anyway,
Dero, the newest launch from Hobby. Here we go again. Um,
and my name is Matearia. No ads.
No ads. Well, and we're talking about
Yeah.
And I was really confused by the way first like five minutes because
obviously I didn't pay attention.
Obviously not the grand game.
No, no, no. Like honest like like I was like I was clicking on on on those on dice dice and I was like what am I what am I even doing? Like where should I? Yeah, they were doing even here and then I was like, "Oh, wait a second. I actually just
two pairs." Yeah, dice poker. Exactly. I was like, "Okay, now it makes sense. Now I know what to do." Okay. I haven't read any guide, which you definitely did.
It's still new.
Oh, really?
I mean, if if you do a good research,
basically, if you played a little bit, you know that hammer is basically the best one and poison for the short ones is the best one. That's it. Everything else is kind of [ __ ]
Yeah, pretty much. I mean I still Well, depends if you have the sword.
Okay. Okay. Hammer time. Tell me. Let's show the core gameplay otherwise.
Yeah. So, some very interesting things. And this I will do before we actually review the game because
Yes,
there's this thing.
I know
called Batro. And this is our prophecy
coming to its realization again. Because what Balato is is a rogike poker game. And what Daicero is is basically a rog light dice poker game which is happening exactly the same way as Palatro which means you have your points that are deducted based on the like power of the cards that you're going and you are basically putting cheats into your deck which is exactly happening here in Dicero where literally like change the pips on the dices to be like all the all the all the sides will be like sixes. Like I I got literally to the point on co-op mode that I was rolling five sixes every single time without me even touching the dices basically. So it is exactly the same principle as Balato which I said will happen and it happened anyway. So
congratulations. Thank you very much for listening. See you next time on the Readar when this is going to die and it's going to die because
it's too too hardcore man. It's too
hardcore. I think so. Uh the other thing that's very interesting to say before we started reviewing it, this is the hobby 3.0 template. This is completely new stuff that we seen here haven't been done before. So Felix got thrown out on the window. No ads, no nothing, no whatever. Not even a small ad somewhere.
Yeah. Nothing.
Why are they doing this?
Because they're going full midcore. That's why.
Yes.
But why? because they just want to push as much IP as possible because they're midcore, man. They I told you they're midcore.
Yeah, but
they were so good at hybrid.
I'm guessing that this will have much more Asian revenue in the end than western one.
This is way more deeper than
Yeah, deeper than than like a lot of things.
Anyway, the thing is what I'm saying is that they switch their whole economy system because you see this is completely different economy. This is much more closer to something like a doodle magic legend of slime because
again you see here I'm just swimming in energy.
Yeah, me too.
Like
I was like why the [ __ ] is he even there?
You remember all archer survivors I io where you like run out of energy actually you can spend it on idle mechanic and then you need to watch ads to have more of it. Exactly. This will never happen here ever
because you can get like so much more in the in the idol rewards.
Yeah. And and then if if if you go into this thing that like oh you're not regenerating any energy. You go into your mail and there's like excess stamina from the last time, whatever. And there's like like pretty much [ __ ] ton of hams waiting for you that you can claim or whatever.
Exactly.
Oh, nice. Some
There we go. Milestones reach on from the event. So that's there. Uh but yeah, if you go here, so there's this meat fest. Claim one batch of meat every six hours, which is basically 30 energy like three runs like really. So it's like if you if you have it full, we give you excess energy and then we give you more energy. So you like energy and we give you even more energy. So like yeah, who cares?
I heard you like energy. So yeah, I gave you more energy.
More energy. So that's there. The other thing that you see in here in the shop is that their signature kind of a chest system again got completely reworked because they're hopping on this. I guess Legend of Mushroom jointed guys games are using this leveling up gacha setup, which means the more you roll, the more the gacha evolves. And for instance, here on level five, you actually have a chance to drop rare stuff from it. Currently, it's just useless. Like,
yes, nothing comes out. Start with level two and it's also still the only thing that works is like this 1% for one for the key, which
which can give you Yes.
Yeah. Yeah. That's it. But common stuff, scrolls or or like Yeah. Sorry. It's like completely useless. There used to be two ad placements here. They're not there anymore.
Yeah, it's not there anymore.
Exactly. Then we have the main S tier gacha which remained which is the one that only S tier staff can get and like this this this is as as it used to be. And then this is the kicker for me. So there are these stage packs that they would have
and first three or four stages were for
hard currency. This one is also for hard currency. So you could actually buy them with hard currency and then they switch them up with the paid ones actually. So this never happened like never ever in any hobby game you could buy an offer with hard currency ever especially these ones. So yeah that's new. Uh Carousel is a little bit new definitely like just more pricey stuff their IP wise they have this whole new setup of privilege which is
Yeah that's that's the
like privileges
extra consumable.
Yeah. Yeah. Refreshes and whatever. It's a consumable that you get either for free five privileges kept per whatever time.
Yeah. Yeah. Or or you get these from the the monthly pass.
So this used to be the one that would like those are pretty much how they're called. Skip it.
Skip it.
Yeah. So those are basically skip it. So Felix favorite skip is got thrown out and now we have these privileges put
into the subscriptions which is just like switch on model that that they're running. And then for the last thing which again got reworked quite heavily is that gacha is not like the merging is much more deeper because now it's not one in three is one four pieces into one used to be three pieces which slows it down. That's that's one thing. A lot
a lot. A lot
exactly. And then this usual inventory of three attack pieces, three damage pieces also got reworked because hammer gives attack, armor gives defense, not health, not damage, defense, ring gives attack, boots gives defense, this gives HP, and this gives again HP.
HP,
it's actually damage, defense, and HP. Now
uh then they have this outfit setup which is quite I guess important now. Back then it was just one power layer and now it's kind of this premium whatever main chains item transmox. Uh
yeah kind of same thing as the the previous one and curious which is another inventory. This is even more important.
I don't even know like what is this?
This is extremely important. This is basically you having bigger multipliers on the rolls. This is just like and you get most of this from co-op mode. So that's there. Yeah, this one also got a little bit like thematic or whatever. It's the exact same system as they had.
It's the same as the before. It's more like Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Just like more randomness. There's no zero randomness in this.
Obviously,
uh this leveling system and everything like again this remain the same. Don't need to do there. All of these other funds or like other things that they have there like again it's just extension of what I just said. I mean like what the [ __ ] was that? Like the thunder god like
Yeah,
it gives you a skill like actually a skill that you can use the active one. Have you played with these characters? Because in co mode you can actually play
with the other guy's character and and check him out. So I play
the winter guy.
Okay.
So it's it's pretty good. It's just more powerful guild system right out of the bat. This is interesting. And this like again social mechanics. Great job here. before it was there. When I joined this guild today, it was two people.
Now it's 33.
Yeah. So, it's growing.
I mean, they're growing like crazy. It's just uh we don't see the real revenue though, unfortunately.
Uh yeah, there uh if you go into that co-op mode that I told you. Uh where is it? Yeah, you see uh you can recruit some for instance this guy. This will be much more stronger than me because he's like 5k guy. But in the beginning, they were all of the first battle you can play. You actually play with the outfit guys like the frost guys. So everything I can I can just get different ones which is a [ __ ] role because they're just like not good ones and I can I can join cop and like some people can use my character in the meantime. But this is perfect. Like this this is done very well on this kind
of cope mode.
My god, we haven't even gotten to the core gameplay yet.
Yeah, but it's only only 11 honestly like Felix go and play.
Yeah,
I like it. I like it. It's actually it's really good. I was again like really confused at the be very beginning, but I'm playing this like since last week.
They're already running
and actually playing.
Yeah, but come on. Like this is like a placeholder, man. It's just like a grind. Like you click on this [ __ ] everything and then you just disappear.
Again, this is Legend of Mushroom events, which means they run separate gacha. That's it. And then you have the winter guy, which is the gacha guy, and like this kind of crowns, which you go here and exchange in the shop, and that's it. So, and it's extremely extremely uh big spend depth on this. Just imagine that if I get all these pools like 90 PS like guarantees me one crown which normally I would get uh what three crowns for less than 1% chance to roll it even. And to get this guy, you need five of these. So, imagine how much
money you would need to throw into this to even get the suit. So, it's there.
A lot.
Quite a lot. Yeah, quite a lot.
Quite a lot. Let's play. So, let's use some of the meat.
Make sure you watch that rewarded ad before the start. Oh, wait.
Yeah. To to get the multiplier up.
So, as I said, this is dice poker. These are my multipliers. This is the main thing because we are playing basically dice poker.
It's not Yatsi.
No, it's not Yatsi. Dice poker. Yatsi is like, yeah, goodbye. You can speed it up from chapter 9 if I understand. This was quite helpful
and already
also where's the fur the [ __ ] is auto play? I mean seriously
there's no auto play
exactly why
I'm guessing they would because you need to have a lot of decisions here.
But you still can do auto play. I mean you you could do autoplay on the so many different games.
But there are zero hobby games that have auto play.
Oh wait, wasn't Capibar go also auto play? It was.
You still need to f the choices. It's always like there's a skill randomizer machine in this man. You can do it. But they have sweeps that. That's the auto play. Like for instance in the level the in whatever gold level you can sweep it. You don't need to play. You already beat it. That's that's their version of autoplay.
That's the blitz.
Yeah, the blitz one. Anyway, so the game is already highlighting which of the poker combos. The the biggest one of course I'm I'm having. So we have three rolls. I can just you know for instance Yeah. Now we have one pair. So we roll this one. Okay, we didn't get one pair in this one. Okay, that's it. So, we're going to hit this guy for 400. He's going to die instantly. That's it. And we go wave by wave. Very similar system to something like Capibarago. Just like different setup. And we choose from all of these kind of different things. I really don't like this mechanic, but again, let's say let's go with sword wave. The cubes here are actually also slots for the skills, which is quite important because you just cannot jam all of them there. So we already have
for instance this one which will give us the start of the turn four so stacks. This is the part that I told you that there will be abilities and choices where I literally can't change the pips here and just go like all three or all four whatever and just cheat the game basically. So now we're all here. If we get one more one we didn't Okay, goodbye. And we had some more damage after the end. Yeah, this is basically it pretty much because as you go, you slowly unlock all the cubes here. I'm still rolling legendary stuff, so not here now. So, let's me just go a little bit faster. Yeah, but once we get all the cubes. Yeah, there's the hammer one. All the cubes here, it will start to give us like more specifications and like special abilities or whatever. See, like three of a kind. Much bigger hit. Goodbye. Yeah. So I'm I'm unlocking another another dice here. And you actually can unlock this from the start if you go to chapter 20 if I remember. So they actually get rid of this. So
it's more of like a twoe mechanic. Just give you the dices. Then they just focus on the abilities which means
abilities.
You're choosing between hammer, poison, great sword, staff, what was it? Some some two or more six I think archetypes they have running based on the weapon that you're currently holding. So here for instance, it's it's again two pairs. So, let's let's maybe get the full house. No, we didn't get the full house. There we go. Goodbye. 800 damage. One health.
Almost. Okay.
Almost can't be lucky. Full house. [snorts]
Yeah. Yeah. So, and you pretty much continue and make the best out of it. So, this is this is basically the game and it's very entertaining and I would say one of the better ones that I'm I'm I'm really really enjoying. I still like it much more than Capi Barago because in Capi Barago it was always like HP damage rolls which you couldn't really affect that much.
Yeah, I don't like the actual art style. I would prefer a capy baro than this and
then this like pixelated like very very
like like very noticeable pixels that you don't even see pixels there.
Yeah. Yeah. But it it
it is what it is and it will have like giant CPI most probably. M yeah
I'm guessing that but uh
no you have you have dice there so I mean that's that's your your win at least.
Yeah at least. So so see this is the good point what they did with Bolato. They didn't do poker. They didn't do this didn't do that. They adapted I think perfectly like this this whole game play that that we seeing it's it's just under good. So let's say let's
Can you imagine like if you put cards in here it would be immediately thrown into the solitire category in terms of the CPS
which is not great.
Didn't make any sense. Yeah, it's it's like I think it's very very good what they what they did there and again I would say quite innovative in in its sense like like what's happening here because Indian is basically batro fair enough.
Yeah. But then you can play the same
same level like 10 million times and based on the skills you have it's completely different experience. So basically what's this game is about that you are seeing in real time the damage
multipliers of course man
what you're seeing here is basically the damage roll. So you just split the damage roll into like five dices and then you roll with them. That's it. Because all these things do they just roll the damage and and and like based on some strategy and abilities of course you you know move multipliers and then like different combination. Obviously, if you have five of of let's say ones, then you it's the best multiplier you can get.
And it can go all the way in like giant damage in the end. Like I was doing something like what 2k damage even on this character today when I was playing some some stuff here.
It depends on the Yeah. What? Whatever skills and abilities you have.
The angel angel girl can give you mythic skills, not legendary. The orange ones, the the red ones. The
red ones. Oh, there the mythical extremely overpowered. It's like you get
those some of those like for instance hammer has this skill that
oh the hammer is amazing man
increase 4% damage by all enemies that you killed retrospectively so even the ones that you killed already before which is like on a level that's like 20 waves. Yeah it's like a [ __ ] ton of increase.
Give me that. Give me that.
Exactly. So
yeah you can do like very very interesting stuff. Also, as I said, the choices here. For instance, the short levels are better with poison because just focus on the bosses and taking their damage down. Hammer is mostly focus on area of effect damage because we want more of that. And we didn't lucky this time. And uh yeah, this guy going to buff him up pretty pretty big to pairs. some some of the things like when I have all the all the cubes pretty much selected for instance this thing you see it's like getting very very engaging of like even managing this whole thing.
Yeah. So many things happening at once like you have the poison you have the
one of them is easier that there's like dice is rolled and you cannot re it because if you roll it it loses it bonus for instance or stuff like that. So here we have yeah we don't need that. so on so forth basically. So this goes on and on and I could continue in like multiple ways. Um a few more things around the game. Yeah, here we have the two times rewards which
which is not a rewarded video.
It's not a rewarded video. The usual hobby template regarding the monetization and engagement applies. So we have the typical 7-day event with S tier gear at the end of it. We have first purchase packs. We have launch carnival. Again, always when the hobby games launches, there's this thing running as an event key fund, which is just another battle pass. Special packs is like their unending shop pretty much that they have here. Google exclusive bundle. Why not 1,000% value? This is basically a giant conversion pack. Then some rankings where people that get there first, which again, always when I
was looking in the levels, I don't know if I can actually see it here. Yeah, it was always like on the day of release. like these guys just like went crazy on this. And then some friends mechanic, guild mechanics. As I said, there's, you know, you go against the boss there. They already have it pretty nicely. I don't know, guilt shops and stuff. By the way, quite a lot of currencies. I wouldn't be this one. This one I wanted to show you. I think I have it here or I don't have it here. I don't have it here, unfortunately. Either got reseted. So this daily fortune that you have here with these lucky dices, if you get one, you actually let me check if I can blitz it because you can blitz the privilege and then you do this just to kind of do the things. Yeah, maybe we can get that. Okay. Yeah, let's let's let's open one. So you remember where this is from?
Oh, that's Squad Busters.
Yes, that's Squad Busters. or Brawl Stars now or pretty much every
Supercell game. This kind of a nice chest uh chance opening or whatever they have here. So, they also added that which not that like very important, but it's still nice. Yeah, it's playing into the usual.
That's good.
Yeah. Yeah. Chest catch opening again. All these events and like stuff they're doing like it's just glorified uh progress trackers.
Is this the is this where the web store is? H no no no no be you mentioned they have the hobby web store so talk about it talk about it
yeah so there is the hobby web store which we can look right there and
you thought it was an ambush ad but it's actually they add a
yeah and they added did they add
dicero I think they added it just yesterday or today
yeah so you can go and login with hobby ID which I think I have somewhere and then go right from there And there's what? 10% discount. Do I get that right?
What's the
10%?
These are no gems actually.
Cubes.
Oops.
Whatever that means.
Whatever that means. What are cubes for?
Don't just buy and you will see. You cheap bastard.
Yep. Not going to happen. Anyway, what I'm saying is that Hobby also has a pretty robust web store with like all these special offers. Dream, whatever, like all these specs and stuff like that. I don't see any live ops, but as per usual, codes in Hobby Games can be redeemed only on websites, not in the game itself. They don't have a redeem button. So, if you're doing that, as I did last time, yeah, you go on a website to redeem those codes and you put in your ID from the game to get that. So, that's there. And
but look if you don't have your own fast spring because it's no drama DTC
partner that's been scaling with mobile publishers for over 20 years. Whether you're launching a new web store or replacing your current D2C setup or adding a backup plan, Fast Spring is here for you. So go to Fastpring.gg GG and start your own web store if you can't build it by yourself. Fastpin.gg.
Uh yeah, as I said, cobb mode is one of the better things to take.
Jacob, are you are you getting a heart attack because you're breathing so heavily?
Oh, really?
I'm Yeah, I'm worried. I'm
got rid of the ads.
Uh yeah, and I think we've seen it all. I still haven't unlock uh pets which gets on chapter 15, but they're very very useful because as I said, I played few of the characters that were more advanced in the co-ound where you can switch your partner character in there just heal you or give you more damage or shields or whatever like pretty much another progression layer that they added into it. Okay. Any other things
you want to add, mate? Or we go numbers?
You go numbers.
Okay, finally
we go numbers. So what are the numbers say? Yes. Yeah. That's the thing since it what's your wisdom? So your wisdom is that we need to wait. That's basically the wisdom because it's the usual kind of a setup where again it's spiking up to like whatever. But we both know that like these numbers will just be completely different in two weeks because it's just the global launch literally just like what few days ago or something or even even this is a global launch. Let me double check. Singap Thailand.
It is. It is. They're using creatives. They're saying
US there.
We just launched.
I don't see US.
I don't see US either.
Yeah. I don't see US either. So, it's like
the usual hobby launch, which is first Asia, then rest of the world.
No. Yeah. I mean, no, it's Asia, rest of the world, and then US.
Yes. Okay.
So, US going to be there maybe in a
month or so.
Okay.
Or something. And China as well. But like the game I would I would guess would be pretty popular in US. The only problem that I have with this
is that it got into hacken/ category like come on this
nobody cares man like what does that changes?
Yeah
absolutely nothing.
I know uh the other problem that I have with this as we talk about this which we will get back to this on our review radar. All rate all time you putting in
what all time yeah is that hobby is now pretty much doing like lowest revenue since
uh ever
20 pretty much
it's because they grow midcore man they're abandoning survivor IO style yeah
yeah and lowest downloads by the way I guess ever
well you know there's this simple solution Just like make the game and everything and then you know at the end of it you put forex behind. You know how to do it.
No. That's terrible advice.
No, no, no.
But all of these
scroll down scroll down a little bit. Is that Archer one and then Archer 2? So basically Survivor IO a lot of rewarded ads. Archer a lot of rewarded ads.
Archer 2.
Yeah. Cygo rewarded ads. So basically zero
the more they abandon the rewarded odds
it's worse it gets.
Yeah. Worse it gets.
What is this causality? [laughter]
I mean this is like
what what do you expect? He plays games for ads. Obviously
there's zero causality between that.
Who cares?
Yeah. What I'm saying is that we still don't see their whole revenue as usual. Just saying because again they have stuff on and everywhere and they have it's indicative. It's indicative.

Byebye.
Come on.
Yeah. I mean, seriously.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
This we did this all the time. Like the only thing that really went well, exceptionally well was Survivor IO.
Seriously, for many, many months. Yes, as I think is still making quite a big amount.
I mean, all the games are making still quite a little maybe, maybe maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe
3 million a month is not bad.
That's pretty good.
It's much more of course because of the ads, but uh yeah,
I mean,
okay, half a million, half a half a billion, sorry.
Yeah, not bad. Definitely not bad. It's just that they cannot create games that are, you know,
marketable.
Sticky and marketable.
Marketable.
Which is why IO was
because it gives you better reach. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
Because silver IO was
marketable. Yeah. Of course.
What do you think the CPI is on this dice?
70 million, man. Let me just
It's a lot.
I know. I don't think it's a lot, but Okay. Do you see my screen? I hope so.
Yes.
Okay.
Officially Exactly. [laughter] Yeah. Officially launched today.
And then
Great. Who cares?
Exactly. And then we have
pretty much all of these are just like street interviews, which I mean the overlay is good and I can I can understand why they're doing it, but it's like I mean you missed this pretty much. The whole train of street interview was like six months ago. Now it's fine, but uh yeah, we'll see. Okay.
2025 called they want their creatives back.
Yeah, [laughter] exactly. And as you might have noticed, it's pretty much Facebook and Google
gameplay.
And this is Facebook the way to go for this.
I mean, it's Chinese company.
Exactly. Exactly. Which means no
uploading.
Which means no uploving. And I was I was really like wondering like what should I use here and it would definitely be like altered gameplay or something. I mean I would
hordes that worked well for them before
kind of. I mean you you could you could see I can see here like pretty much what you you said like the pips and like all the skills and abilities and like like he's doing right now all the waves and stuff but also like multiple different elements. I I actually recorded the the the mythic skill of like the the hammer. That's awesome. It looks amazing. Where the [ __ ] is it? I mean, come on. Instead, we have this, which is fine. I can I can understand just starting one hour later just showing the progression.
But still, again, you can do way better than this. And they've done multiple things before with Capy Bargo and Archer
2 which are at least interesting experiments, but this like come on.
Oh, I see some AI stuff.
I'm pretty sure you can you can you can show
Yeah, that's AI. That's AI.
Yeah, for sure. A Yeah, 100%.
This is AI.
It's 100% AI.
You pick wrong format, but it's AI. Yeah,
exactly. I mean,
there's more AI. Pick the one where the camera actually zooms out a little bit around
this one.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no. It's uh like altered gameplay all over.
Oh, I know what you mean. I know. I know. I know. I know. Let's Let's just go from the top actually. Let's just go from top. I know. I know which one you mean because I was checking this pretty much. Copy bar go.
This copy bar go gift code directly into creative. Of course it works. By the way, those are real.
But no, this is the one we saw. Yeah, this this we saw. I know which one
you're talking about was pretty much dice.
Yes. But again, like you don't see anything like super exciting.
Yeah,
this one. This one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This one. This one.
This AI.
This AI for sure.
But I mean it's good AI.
Yeah. Yeah, this is good. Like this is good. And uh let it let it roll. You'll see the camera actually even zooms out a little bit around.
No, I mean I'll play the whole whole creative. But they have 400 creatives for for the last 30 days.
Exactly.
See this like looks looks very nice.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Of course. I was I was watching this like Yeah, this is definitely AI which is good. But I mean pretty much that's pretty much it. This like cringy stuff like this one. It's like ah nobody cares this type of stuff again like too much too many UGC stuff which
are I mean like do you actually pay for something like this? Like why?
Yes. So this is definitely not AI.
Yeah definitely not AI. Like why the [ __ ] would you even pay for this? It's terrible. or girlfriend video.
Haven't seen these for a while.
Yeah. And they are behind the green
blue screen. Yeah. Green screen. Yeah. Green.
I can't watch this. I can't I just I don't I can't stop basically.
Yeah. I can't. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly.
What's going on here? more AI stuff.
But compared to do you remember the Survivor IO creatives how like great they were?
It was it was basically like a genre define defining
game
and also yeah it's a game and also the creatives like I again I'm say this said this million times I used Survivor IO
type of gameplay in ads in every other genre than it should be.
Yeah. Yeah, because everyone everyone copied them. They were like they were like the the like white out survival.
You mean the vampire survivors?
Yeah.
More AI.
Yeah, there are some like stuff, but again
really
there's AI and AI pretty much.
This would attack on Titan something or WA. Okay. Interesting.
Oh, it's actually not that bad.
This is pretty cool.
Yeah, it's bad. Okay,
this is good.
This is good. Yeah.
Why don't they have more of this?
Exactly. This I think this is this is the way to go.
This is more CPI than the core concept that they're putting everywhere.
I mean, yes. You you you still see like it's core as [ __ ]
I know.
It's like different colors, different different scene. Although I mean the it appeals.
How many creatives? How many creatives in total?
Yeah. 00
400
not even 500.
I take that back.
So I told my boss I made a [music] playable app with Playable Maker
and he said to me, "What language did you code it in?" And I said, "I don't know. With Playable Maker, all [music] you do is drag, drop, click, and it does it all for you." So again, he said, "What language did you make it in?" I went, I don't [music] know, English. At the end of the day, as long as a playable maker does it all for you, why do you [music] care? It's just like magic.
Yeah. Not even 500. So, I mean again like there are some interesting stuff but then nobody [ __ ] cares. Like come on. Like these creatives should not should not really be alive anyway. So yeah, that's that's pretty much it.
What's the big dice?
This one.
AI one again.
Yeah, it's definitely
Yeah, definitely.
You see how like the shape is like
Yeah.
solid.
Yeah. I mean, okay. But with like the all the options you have now with AI, like this is this is what you create. Can you imagine? I mean, one sec. I was probably not going to find it, but you know, you showed it in the tile survive episode where you just stack the different rooms again like on top of each other. And here you you could do so much with your with their background and the the the enemies and the character and all the different. It's like so many things you can do.
I'm just like why don't they do like Last Asylum playbook.
Exactly.
Which is like take the best of all genres and run that.
Yeah. Exactly. This is actually a nice trailer.
Yeah. This is like gameplay trailer. Yeah. Kind of. Which is like what they did with Archer 2 pretty much. Exactly. Exactly the same stuff.
But can you see like how big of a difference is between the the enemy cobra whatever is it with this one even the art style it's absolute mismatch. I mean it's a nice try but I would again and I don't want to be
nitpicky.
Yes that's a very good politically correct way how to say it. Like they could do so much more. That's my only problem. Like the company hobby is
can do way better in terms of the creatives way way better.
Game is great. Like game is great. I really like this new like very money sucking 3.0
which again so I just I'm just confused. I'm just confused.
So nothing changed as usual.
Nothing changed. Maybe maybe when the US
Exactly. Maybe when the US comes into place then we will see something else but that's what we said with Archer 2 and Capibara and nothing happened.
Yeah.
Nothing literally nothing happened in
terms of the creative dro.
Yeah. So
let's see
guys. Yeah you can do way better way better again especially if you just talk to your friends.
Exactly. Exactly. And maybe then you can run blended campaigns finally.
Exactly. With lower CPIs. Way lower CPI.
I mean scale. Yeah.
Oh, you know, you know what they should do? They should just put interstitial after every every wave.
Yeah. I can't wait. When we talked about this in China in a few months,
I know. Yeah. Yeah. I know.
Be fun.
Yeah. I'm not sure it's going to be too too much fun after this Yeah. after this episode. But still again, I played the game and I still going to play the game after after the recording because actually I like it. I need to use my brain a little bit to just pick because you can't you need to pay attention. You can't just do like 10 10 different things. It's like you turn based you don't need to pay attention constantly but you still need to pay like a lot of
attention.
Yeah. But you make one one wrong decision and then you can just Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. Okay. Thank you very much for coming. Also, Felix, thank you very much for being here.
Yeah. as a spectator.
Special guest.
Special guest Felix.
Special guest Felix. Yeah, I mean,
grumpy grandpa.
He like to talk to you usually, so it's fine. Thank you very much. And guys, please comment on the video like what do you think about the game and see you next time, I guess. Bye-bye. Ciao. Cheers. Bye-bye.

Habby is undergoing a fundamental strategic transition, moving away from the hypercasual-adjacent success of titles like Survivor.io toward a more complex, midcore model exemplified by its latest release, Dicero. This shift is defined by the abandonment of rewarded advertisements in favor of a rigorous monetization framework centered on heavy gacha mechanics, tiered evolution systems, and a refined, slower-paced merging economy. By integrating a roguelite dice-poker mechanic inspired by Balatro, the studio aims to foster deeper player engagement through strategic depth and skill-based progression, supported by a robust web store for direct-to-consumer transactions.
Despite the technical innovation, the studio faces significant headwinds as it navigates this pivot. Current performance metrics indicate that Habby is experiencing its lowest revenue and download figures in recent history, raising questions about whether the increased complexity of the midcore model can achieve the same market penetration as its predecessors. The removal of rewarded ads, a staple of the studio’s previous growth strategy, further complicates the path to scaling, as the title must now rely entirely on high-intent monetization to sustain its ecosystem.
The long-term viability of this new direction remains contingent on a necessary overhaul of the studio’s marketing operations. While the game design is sophisticated, current promotional efforts are characterized by underwhelming, low-quality user-generated content that fails to capture the creative potential of the product. To lower customer acquisition costs and drive sustainable growth, the studio must move beyond outdated trends and adopt more advanced, AI-driven, or blended-campaign creative strategies. Ultimately, the success of this transition depends on whether the studio can align its sophisticated new gameplay loops with a marketing approach capable of reaching a broader, more engaged audience.
