The Esports Advocate
Frascarelli, a prominent esports journalist, joins the Brazilian esports organization as part of its strategy to expand internationally.
The Brazilian esports organization FURIA has initiated a strategic expansion of its global operations, marked by a series of key personnel appointments. The most prominent addition is Victor Frascarelli, a well-known journalist formerly of Esports Insider and The Esports Observer, who has been appointed to lead the organization’s global public relations efforts. This move aligns with the organization's broader objective to increase its international footprint and professionalize its communications infrastructure.
In addition to Frascarelli, the organization has bolstered its operational team with the hiring of Pedro Trajano as travel manager and Giulia Tancredi as facilities coordinator. Former public relations lead Mario Andrada will maintain a relationship with the organization, transitioning to a role focused on special projects while continuing to operate his own communications agency. These staffing changes reflect a deliberate effort to support the organization's growing international presence.
The organizational growth coincides with physical expansion, exemplified by the December 2022 opening of FURIA Wynwood in Miami, Florida. This new facility serves as a multifunctional hub, featuring a PC area, a LAN house, merchandise retail space, and a dedicated stage for broadcasting matches and events. By combining strategic talent acquisition with the development of international infrastructure, the organization is positioning itself to better engage with global markets beyond its home base in Brazil.
