The game launched globally in early 2025 and quickly achieved significant monetization. This revenue excludes third-party Android stores and in-game advertising income.
The mobile game Archero 2, developed by Habby, has demonstrated significant commercial success following its global release in early 2025. Within its first 11 days of global availability, the title generated over $8 million in net in-app purchase (IAP) revenue and surpassed 3.5 million downloads. When including the soft-launch period that began in September 2024, the game’s total performance reaches more than $31 million in net IAP revenue and over 8 million downloads.
Data provided by AppMagic highlights that the United States is the primary revenue driver, contributing 29.5% of the total, followed by Japan at 18.8% and South Korea at 11.2%. The game’s rapid growth is particularly notable when compared to its predecessor, the original Archero, which earned approximately $900,900 in IAP revenue during its first 11 days. While the original title has achieved a lifetime net revenue exceeding $263 million since 2019, the sequel’s early trajectory suggests a much faster monetization pace.
The analysis relies on mobile market intelligence from AppMagic and Sensor Tower, covering global iOS and Android performance. It is important to note that these figures exclude revenue from third-party Android stores and do not account for income generated through in-game advertising, which remains a core component of the game's monetization strategy. Analysts attribute the successful launch to effective user acquisition through both organic and paid channels, as well as design choices such as a concise 28-second tutorial that helps retain the core audience established by the original game.
