Sega Financial Report: H1 2024

Sega’s financial results for the first half of fiscal year 2025 demonstrate a resilient video game business despite a broader decline in total company revenue and operating profit.

• Sega’s video game business (Consumer subsegment) grew 22% year-over-year in H1 FY25, reaching ¥95.6 billion ($626 million) in revenue.
• Growth was primarily driven by strong DLC sales and the inclusion of Rovio, which contributed ¥17 billion ($111 million) in revenue during the period.
• Back catalog titles were the primary revenue driver for full-game sales, accounting for nearly 80% of the ¥27.7 billion ($181.4 million) total.
