Unity reported its financial results for the third quarter ending September 30, 2025, demonstrating year-over-year revenue growth and improved operational efficiency. The company generated $471 million in total revenue, a 5% increase compared to the same period in 2024. This performance was driven by a 3% increase in Create Solutions revenue, reaching $152 million, and a 6% rise in Grow Solutions revenue, which totaled $318 million. The growth in the Grow segment was primarily attributed to the strong performance of the Unity Ad Network, bolstered by the integration of Unity Vector AI.
Despite the revenue gains, the company recorded a GAAP net loss of $127 million, representing a net loss margin of 27%. However, the company achieved an Adjusted EBITDA of $109 million, reflecting a 23% margin and an improvement over the $92 million reported in the third quarter of 2024. This positive trend in profitability metrics was supported by disciplined cost management and higher revenue. Additionally, the company reported strong cash flow, with $155 million provided by operating activities and $151 million in free cash flow, while maintaining a cash and cash equivalents balance of $1.9 billion as of September 30, 2025.
Looking ahead to the fourth quarter of 2025, the company provided guidance projecting total revenue between $480 million and $490 million. Management anticipates mid-single-digit sequential revenue growth in the Grow segment and high-single-digit year-over-year growth in the Create segment, excluding non-strategic revenue. The company expects to maintain its focus on artificial intelligence tools and platform innovation to sustain its competitive position in the interactive entertainment industry.
