Total downloads reached 3.78 billion in October 2025.
The global mobile gaming market experienced growth in October 2025, with consumer spending reaching $6.8 billion, a 4.5% increase month-over-month. Total downloads also rose by 2.2%, reaching 3.78 billion. The United States remained the primary driver of revenue, accounting for 32% of the global total, while India led in download volume with 18% of the market share. These figures are based on App Store and Google Play data, excluding third-party Android marketplaces.
Revenue rankings were dominated by established titles, with Last War: Survival Game maintaining the top position, followed by Honor of Kings, Royal Match, MONOPOLY GO!, and Whiteout Survival. Honor of Kings specifically benefited from a 10th-anniversary campaign, which drove an 11% month-over-month increase in in-app purchases. Meanwhile, the download charts were led by Block Blast!, followed by ROBLOX and Free Fire. New entrants also made an impact, with X-Clash emerging as the fastest-growing title by downloads and Smilegate’s Chaos Zero Nightmare securing a top-10 spot in revenue growth.
A central theme throughout the month was the effectiveness of seasonal live operations. Halloween-themed events were utilized across both casual and mid-core genres to boost engagement and monetization. Publishers successfully leveraged limited-time rewards, cosmetic skins, and festive content updates to sustain player interest. Additionally, regional expansion and localized content launches, such as the Vietnam release of EA SPORTS FC Mobile and the India-centric debut of ScarFall 2.0, proved to be critical strategies for driving global download growth and maintaining long-term user acquisition.
