The mobile gaming industry experienced a slight contraction in November 2025, with global consumer spending reaching $6.68 billion, a 2.8% decrease month-over-month. Total downloads also saw a decline of 4.1%, settling at 3.62 billion. The United States remained the primary revenue driver, accounting for 32.3% of global spending, while India led in total download volume with 16.4% of the market share. These figures are derived from App Store and Google Play data, excluding third-party Android marketplaces.
Last War: Survival Game maintained its position as the world’s top-grossing mobile title, supported by consistent live operations and alliance-based gameplay. Other high-performing revenue generators, such as Whiteout Survival and MONOPOLY GO!, successfully utilized seasonal, festive-themed events to sustain player engagement and monetization. Revenue growth was particularly notable for titles leveraging strong intellectual property or milestone updates, with MapleStory: Idle RPG and Honkai: Star Rail leading the surge in spending.
In the download category, Block Blast! secured the top spot, followed by Roblox and Free Fire. The fastest-growing titles in terms of downloads demonstrated a diverse range of mechanics, from the hybrid puzzle design of Solitaire Associations Journey to the physics-based, hypercasual appeal of I Am Monkey. The data indicates that while overall market volume experienced a minor dip, publishers continue to effectively utilize limited-time events, cross-platform collaborations, and accessible, shareable gameplay to drive both user acquisition and sustained monetization across global markets.
