Paris-based esports organization Team Vitality has expanded its professional footprint by launching an all-women’s League of Legends team, branded as the "French Bees." This initiative, developed in partnership with the grocery store chain ALDI, represents a strategic effort to increase female representation within the competitive gaming landscape. The team is slated to compete in several prominent French tournaments throughout 2023, including the MasterCard Nexus Tour and various local LAN events.
The newly formed roster features five players—Coline “Chubby Daddy” Reiter, Lexa “Lexa” Grellier, Alyssa “saï” Lenoir, Emeline “Kasane” Baudouin, and team captain Velouria “Viki” Baty—under the guidance of coach Shac Nicholson. The players will represent the organization in official Team Vitality apparel, incorporating branding from their partner, ALDI.
This move aligns with Team Vitality’s broader professional portfolio, which already includes active rosters in major titles such as Valorant, Fortnite, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and the League of Legends EMEA Championship. By integrating the French Bees into its existing infrastructure, the organization continues to leverage a diverse network of corporate sponsors, including hummel, Samsung, and various other technology and lifestyle brands, to support its competitive growth and brand visibility within the French esports market.
