This tournament features the competitive fighting game Street Fighter 6. It concludes the 2023 Capcom Pro Tour.
SteelSeries has secured a partnership with Capcom to serve as the official headset provider for CAPCOM CUP X, the concluding event of the 2023 Capcom Pro Tour. This tournament features the competitive fighting game Street Fighter 6 and offers a significant $1 million USD grand prize to the eventual winner. While the financial specifics of the agreement remain undisclosed, the deal integrates SteelSeries hardware directly into the professional esports environment.
Under the terms of the collaboration, all 48 qualified competitors participating in the event are required to use the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro headset during their matches. The tournament schedule spans from February 16 to February 25, 2024, encompassing the Last Chance Qualifier, Group Elimination rounds, the Street Fighter League World Championship, and the final Grand Finals.
Beyond hardware integration, the partnership includes a collaborative content strategy. The event will be broadcast on the CapcomFighters Twitch channel, while SteelSeries will leverage its social media presence on platforms including Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok to distribute competition highlights, player interviews, and game updates. This move aligns with SteelSeries’ broader strategy of maintaining high-profile partnerships within the global esports ecosystem, joining a portfolio that includes organizations such as FaZe Clan, T1 Entertainment & Sports, and the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Team.
