Skyesports, an India-based esports tournament operator, has secured the exclusive Hindi-language broadcasting rights for the BLAST Paris Major. This partnership aims to increase the accessibility of high-level Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) competition for the Indian gaming community by providing localized coverage of the event’s Champions Stage.
The broadcast initiative features live commentary and analysis in Hindi, delivered via the company’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. The broadcast team for the event includes talent members Lucifer, Euphoria, and SenorMamba. While the financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the deal highlights a strategic effort to engage regional audiences during the final major tournament dedicated to the CS:GO title.
The BLAST Paris Major, which ran from May 8 to May 21, 2023, featured 24 international teams competing for a total prize pool of $1.25 million USD. The Champions Stage, which was the primary focus of the Hindi broadcast, took place from May 18 to May 21 at the Hall de la Pinède. During this phase, the remaining eight competitors participated in a single-elimination bracket consisting of best-of-three matches to determine the tournament winner.
