Riot Games has officially replaced Talon Esports with the Thailand-based organization Full Sense for the 2026 Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific season. This decision follows the termination of Talon’s partnerships with Riot in November 2025, which affected both the VCT Pacific and the League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP) leagues.
The removal of Talon stemmed from a failure to adhere to league standards, characterized by a pattern of significantly overdue payments to players and staff, alongside an inability to demonstrate the financial stability required for continued participation. These operational issues were preceded by reports of internal financial strain, including a publicized $1 million bridge loan and subsequent difficulties in meeting financial obligations to contractors and personnel.
In selecting a replacement, Riot prioritized organizations with proven operational readiness, clear alignment with league goals, and a strong footprint in Southeast Asia to maintain regional representation. Full Sense was chosen after a competitive review process and will retain the active roster of players previously associated with Talon. The transition is not expected to impact the 2026 league format, and Full Sense has confirmed its commitment to representing Thailand in the upcoming season.
