OnePlus Partners With Valorant Mobile in China

OnePlus has entered into a strategic partnership with TJ Sports, a joint venture between Riot Games and Tencent Holdings, to support the development and promotion of Valorant Mobile in China. This collaboration focuses on integrating the smartphone brand into the game’s ecosystem through technology, marketing initiatives, and official esports event support throughout the second half of 2025.

The partnership designates the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro as the exclusive, official smartphone for community-driven Valorant Mobile esports competitions. The device will debut in this capacity at the Valorant Mobile Shanghai Trial Play Session in June, followed by a tournament in Qingdao in July. While the financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the deal aligns with OnePlus’ broader strategy of targeting the mobile first-person shooter (FPS) market, building on its existing role as the exclusive smartphone partner for the Peace Elite League.

This initiative coincides with the scheduled launch of the first closed beta test for Valorant Mobile on June 12, 2025. By leveraging the technical compatibility between high-performance mobile hardware and competitive FPS titles, OnePlus aims to solidify its presence within the Chinese mobile esports landscape. The partnership reflects a concerted effort by both the hardware manufacturer and the game publishers to establish a strong competitive foundation for the title ahead of its wider release.
