just it blink twice if the if you make more money on the re inup Revenue side than what we see in sense or yeah so the total if you see the total double up twice as what you see right now multiplayer is multiplayer so yeah yeah always TRX nice thanks I'm glad my calculations weren't wrong then [Music] but this is a no gaming show where we talk about games and their revenue in great detail powered by our ad monetization game design and user acquisition Triple Threat expertise welcome to the two and a half Gamers the unfiltered truth served with a side of giggles
let's not forget this is a 400 a.m. conference discussion Vibe so let's not take it too seriously tune in now and stay two and a half steps ahead of the gaming industry got be all the fun it's going to be all the fun let's see let's see well um welcome everyone this is another episode of Two and a Half Gamers um that's well as as usual like this is again a very special episode and how special you will see you will see in a second because we are doing another live review and you know please uh welcome SE and uh hay his translator we're going to have a bilingual podcast because SE is from a company called Tria and which is based in South Korea he working as CPO so um so can you please introduce well H can you please introduce yourself and then uh so intr so again the company
Tria and what you are doing yes you can you can go first hello nice meeting you guys I'm so and CP I'm working in so and I I've made I've made various typon games the most representive uh game that I made is C I've been making games for 40 for 14 years nice I have experience design designing F fine app games for about four four years and followed by 10 years in casual game design Al not World well known I made Kitty name Ma games which is my previous company and and it and it performed pretty pretty good
your L ranked first in the top 100 C LS in the simulation category in the US thanks to this I could I could start our new company to PL with my boss and with we've been making many type of games recently we made office C it has pretty good metrics you everyone I'm my name is hay I'm here to help you with the Communications stuff welcome both and yes as you said pretty good kpis I mean that's why we're talking about it though great yeah first I had this question like what's up with the cat games like first do you like cats question
so um at tripa our company everyone basically loves cat for example the B he actually lives with three cats right now and like the most of the team members who worked on this game also share their room with the cats so yeah basically yes that's the answer okay so the additional question that do cats have low cpis so like this was more of a Strate a strategy approach um it's true that like
the cat has low CPI yeah so when we first launched cat snack bar we were able to start with a much lower CPI that uh we expected before um this gave us a a valuable Insight that we be actually apply to all of our games since so yeah nice that's what I wanted to hear very cool yeah for those for those listening I'm just kind of sharing the portfolio of the company for like mat's comment there's like cat snack bar office cat catm idle Lumber cat idle cat makeover um I don't know cat Town Valley uh I think there's like few cat blog Jem and like few more cat games that I haven't seen so there's a lot of them let's
say yeah so all good yakob uh can you give um the audience the the breakdown and download on of the of the office C and like why are we actually talking about it yep so um as usual let's look at some numbers first um the company has uh as yeah I said like multiple games in the portfolio but offis I guess is the most uh let's say successful one currently especially from the IP perspective um if you're looking at the game here we are it's already scaled to something like 100k downloads a day in July currently went to something like 40K a day but Revenue wise IP wise only it's still stable doing something like 50k a day IP only which I gu at least at least yeah yeah which I think will be much more when Felix F gets in and get some add estimates on top of it because
game is kind of very very heavily stitched with ads and then uh as said like the other two games that are kind of prominent in the company portfolio is uh cat snake bar and Cat Mart or Idol lumbercat so like few more let's say cat uh Idol Tycoon crafting games the interesting part and this is kind of pretty new so if you look at the category of the game in the Tycoon crafting genre it's basic Bally on the fifth spot for last 30 days regarding downloads so you have stuff like Township Supermarket Simulator 3D something from 37 games which I can't read unfortunately and then hey day and afterwards is office C this is downloads wise of course if we go to revenue side it's nowhere near closed but because we don't see the ad Revenue numbers here and they're not counted in this chart isn't really valid regarding this thing so the the ad Revenue numbers are big
yeah the other the numbers are big we'll get to it okay um jumping into the game um yeah I'm currently having KN here that's why said yeah thank you yeah I played it pretty much whole week not stop try try to like that's our usual thing like I always try to kind of see all the mechanics I can uh I must really say I haven't seen an idle game structured this way ever like it's it's super super unique and some of the things are are again like very very Innovative I don't know if like ever sewing in the genre but yeah let's start a little bit more kind of closer because nobody probably knows what's happening here so currently um we have a night cycle here I'll get to it later but the main principle of the game is that you are rally like a let's say CEO of like co-working space or office space like literally like we we work something similar there I would say where yeah we
we this is very interesting yeah CW work like start of the day everybody walks into the office and like super big crowd of cats walks into the office and yob yob this is even in the creatives actually by yeah yeah yeah of course of course of course it works there um here we go so we have our CEO office right here yeah that's that's our secretary there our our kind of main cat walks into it and what we are doing pretty much we are renting the co-working space to different companies so let's say I have cat Bay here if you know what that means or I have uh JP mugan Chase amazing or or we have a trap itself there or we have pazon music and so on so like the names are amazing so you basically train and or let's say yeah you rent these companies and they train and get Stars promotions so as you
see here let's say let's take this one the JP Morgan CH one I still don't have like oh let me take one which actually has a progression bar yeah so cbay is pretty much already fully leveled and I can choose a new company because I kind of completed this company uh the important parts that these companies are put into different Rarities and they have of course different needs so if you go here you can see what the company pretty much request for it to be happy and to level fast and if I complete it it gets here into this kind of a collectible company list which the companies already completed is that that that one is that like a Bentley logo but it's like cly yes yeah the the the references to the real world are amazing and it's not it doesn't even end here you also get this like Rich ranking list which is like one of the most important mechanics also where you have like like cats and CEO and like I think I saw even uh Kell musk or some some somebody like that here somewhere there was in kto as well
as yeah melon musk melon musk is the top one sorry so so that's there but but anyway brilliant so there are these companies so as with other Idol games this is not your typical numbers just increase and you get more and more things to do it's ex essentially there's like a lot of management on top of the like idle part which is very unique because let's say here if we go to that um yeah cat Bay and I would do new company I actually need to like put up a new company from a list and let's say if we want to have porch which is like very clear reference to porch we need to actually upgrade our office because I just recently switched our office here see they already left the C Bay and I need to pretty much purchase more furniture so it would meet their requirements that that's very important and this pretty much gets the typical idle treatment but it's get bigger and bigger and bigger what's really interesting is that it doesn't reset so
I started here the outskirts then move into the residential area then industrya so on so forth and you would expect the typical idle genre reset where everything starts from scratch because numbers gets too big or you know the usual this doesn't happen here what happens here everything kind of translates just to bigger buildings and gives you bigger options is similar to my perfect Hotel uh my perfect Hotel starts from scratch you starts from scratch every every single hotel hotel okay here you translate everything so let's say this company the pazon music it was just in smaller space and now in this new pretty much stage I can just um get more desks for them but whole progression stays with you all the time and this is like one of the big differences between typical ID genre yeah yeah all the idle games pretty much where there's no reset of the progression and also numbers don't really get that exponential like you see I'm still within Millions probably I'll get to like 10 Millions but we'll never like ever in
currency so that yeah yeah yeah so that would be my first question here uh any background behind this decision or like when you were designing it what was the thought process of like not having a reset mechanic within Idol gen and even can the game sustain it long long term so before answering your question he'd like to say something um first yeah in yeah in creating this game I've drawn um significant inspiration from leading the titles in the idol um tyon General such
as you know Idol office tyon and um so from there we referenced Idol office tyon in the initial initial phrase and based on our experience we've um created uh the user user user friendly game from there so to get to the you know Point straightly there is a clear reason behind this decision it reduces the sensitive loss that the players experience so like nearly all of our pre
previous games the progress was reset a reset when moving to the next level so you probably uh already know about this uh this is very common in Idol tyan genre as I'm seen in app quantum's Idol tyan games and Frozen city as well and our games followed the same approach [Music] so so however this uh this approach presented a significant
problem here um players often feel a sense of loss rather than enjoyment when entering a new level like moving to different apartment and stuff so the yeah so they perceived that um all the hard work all the hard um earned progress and the effort that they have Bo it just got disappear so this sens of loss often leads players to just quit the entire game the game [Music] entirely so this isn't just um speculation we we were just uh actually able to identify this pricely by
analyzing player drop off points within so it's a big turn point Y so to improve this and make this right with design office cat as um you know when the players move to the next level or you know next buildings the previous progress isn't reset but carried over with it uh sub fortunately we observed a significant reduction in player drop off when tradition to the next level so compared to uh when compared comped to um the previous mechanic
mhm yeah that's about it thank you yeah that that makes a lot of sense yeah I think like I I heard this also a lot of time when working with like other Idol idle genre gaming Idol genre based gaming Studios where the like the drop off is tends to be really big when the reset happens where people feel like they completed something and they don't want to start from the beginning it's just like unfortunate rud of these games um the other interesting thing that the game introduced is that there's actually a secondary Loop somewhere here I guess Felix and Ma didn't reach that but the game literally gives you a factory where there's the second Loop which is I guess a little bit closer to something like Township or all these like I call it like production puzzles where you are actually making like different resources such as like strawberries and wet and then getting contracts for them but if you see there's literally like the recipe book where you see how kind of food is made which creates the kind of the the second Loop basically so we have
the typical like the increasing numbers Loop and then on top of it there's like a second Loop which kind guess gives it a lot of additional management mechanics and lots of Engagement um moving on the other very interesting mechanic that the game has is this like Rich index that I showed you in the beginning which literally means like how rich your cat is because it's like a tycoon fantasy so you literally are buying houses and uh in those houses is you buy expensive cars there's literally like a let me go to a car dealership this one where like yeah they're super pricey just saying and they all like increase your Rich cat index bonus because if you have high enough Rich cat index bonus you can buy something like a let's say eco-friendly plant which gives you more electricity or increases your morale or like a bank that literally gives you money and these are very important resources because one of the other like I guess like one of
the other very very important system is electricity that people don't really feel and I literally learn it the hard way where I suddenly start upgrading everything and then like everything shut down and like what's happening I just didn't have enough electricity because every one of these decks of course like consumes power and who would know that you actually need to have power generation to keep up with so and this is this is like very pricey thing like you see the like the cost of these generators like it's it's like super big and on top of it there's also like a maintenance department where you have all these guys who just goes around the building and maintain everything because it tends to break down yeah that's life yeah yeah I know I just say elect electricity and Engineers you know and we haven't stopped there like the cats they also need uh bathrooms of course like with like lot of these they also need meeting rooms to have the important meetings because they again have needs to kind of like have meetings pretty much like I think I don't have somebody
here in the building maybe on the second floor they literally have these like uh papers over top of their heads like if they want to go on the meeting but yeah it doesn't matter and there's even a playroom with like no sorry this is the relaxation room where there's like they can relax I think there's somewhere I have a playroom on the second floor now where there's oh yeah here we go there's literally like a third gen console and stuff like that so they have like different needs and there's a lot and lot of management on top of it to kind of make sure that everything works because what It ultimately does is that these cats like they all kind of have some kind of okay these are pretty pissed because they on stuff no no no they complain a lot if you don't do they complain a lot yeah yeah so so these are better ones let's say this company so based on their kind of morale and based on their kind of feeling being good that's also defines how fast the
programing company gets XP and experience and pretty much you level it up and progress in the game so that's also very interesting it's not always like if you have the money or you don't have the money this is not your typical golden goblins idle minor Tycoon whatever where it just like I have complex yeah this is very complex as it goes and there's like quite a lot of mechanics uh the last mechanic which I never got to which I guess I will go to tomorrow is this plan thing where there's actually plant which if I understand correctly gives you passive bonuses and you can uh take care of these plants by having these uh yeah plant something which I still didn't got because one of the way how to finish daily Quest is to purchase something in the shop obviously that's there also the other other very interesting mechanic that even if you have pretty much everything with uh that the cats want in order for them to grow not this one where we go this one yeah so there's
always this one last thing at the back of the request list and oh what's what could that be like let me check everything's for money but that one last thing is for hard currency and it's always for hard currency so there's a very very strong push towards hard currency not only in Daily Quest but also in pretty much overall game field whereas if you don't have a lot of hard currency you will never met these companies kind of a request ever but that's a great sync no yeah yeah like it's a very good sync kind of strong push so my question is that how how did you approach the like the plant power progression layer like I guess it's kind of super expensive to get into it because like yeah let's let's look here so in order to get plans the probability is like 0.1% to to kind go here so as I said uh did you have some different balancing test or like how did you end up because the economy is like really stingy at some point Y question simple question
you know we so guys he always ask question which is never ending yeah so don't worry if it's if it's super complicated he does it all the time just yeah yob take yeah sip the water let the guys actually respond I'm sorry I'm lost like what was the question again exact exactly yeah yeah sorry uh I don't even know let's talk about the plant mechanic plant mechanic and the push for hard currency that that's like two questions yeah Jesus Christ like question is like the plant power progression layer is like that was about it right yes
so he built this um you know in this part he made it like as you play you get it naturally like right now if you open the roulette again on the bottom you see the probability uh probability data there uhhuh so if if you uh if you complete like 30 30 [Music] times so you get the like higher possibility of getting like more plants yeah so there's like what like py timer now you'll see you'll see another roulette set a rouette if you um complete 30
times okay r that yeah there you go o nice okay so from there he built it like probably uh a bit easier to get it [Music] so you said like you said it as a very expense expensive prices but in fact like he didn't try to um sell it with a very expensive price so he wants the players to get rewarded as he plays as they play the game is that what you said yeah
so actually like not not many users um um spend a lot of money on it so yeah they they spin until they get it do you guys get it did I yeah yeah we get it we get it because yeah because it's like I I thought it's more prominent that it is basically in the game but I guess it's like just there is a side progression so it's not like the main spending thing I guess for for payers okay uh few other things that I wanted to mention um so yeah I said like the push for either in a purchases through literally like a quest in the daily task system or that every single company requests hard currency Furniture which is built in into it like that's that's very strong and I guess one of the main things why the game monetizes so well uh the other thing is that I've never seen this but our usual kind chain step offer that we know from games like I don't know Monopoly go or like all these other
games sad Busters everybody it these days so here here it is done as an event basically so you need to earn these tiers and not only just can have them like of course if you earn the first two those are for free but if you want to continue in the chain of course you need to pay and then you need to pay again so on so forth so this is again I guess within that philosophy that players kind of earn it as they go but they even earn the offers let's say uh my other question is that do you have any other kind of a similar type of events because I just seen this one or like rotate two times like usually idle games have this like second progression as an event so my question is just that if there's any other events that I haven't seen during my playthrough or there's some other prominent ones that you have as live Ops
not um yet but we're planning to introduce limited time uh weekly events that will um allow players to experience slightly different gameplay in a new [Music] environment now so these um events are common in Idol tyan games simil yeah very similar ones um do you know the um tyen games very Sim similar to activus catching event and for example so in katar we have a similar concept with the island events as a subc content
so this is a common strategy in tyen games to drive revenue and it has positively impacted the revenue in most of the games with created so we expected to um implement it very soon yeah that's s thank you yeah sounds good yeah like it's expected like I was I was just kind of curious if I didn't miss anything because as I said like I Tred to kind of play as as as much as possible to kind of unlock all of the content that I could because I think like few very big kind of chunks of content unlock here in the Second City where you get the factory as with the production puzzle and then later down the line I guess that's it just kind of numbers increase here with like the additional plan I don't know if there's like something else new in the Hightech area or futuristic area but I guess this
is as far as the feature set goes because for instance this meow Bay which is resor City made to serve as resting place for kids I guess that's still waiting to be updated so not yet into the game that I haven't seen there but other than that I guess I guess I seen everything the other very interesting thing that I haven't talked about yet which you can even see on the screen head placements are done very very good I don't want to steal Felix Thunder here but just need to say this that there's literally an ad placement to get rid of the Knight so people of course go out standard one that's quite a standard one yeah yeah there's this mysterious fren City no it's like the same thing yeah something like that if you want to speed up the day there's there's the mysterious C which is like I can turn a spell takes off the night and brings back the day so so just there that that's really nice but also some other minor features so such as catstagram where you brag about all your purchases
with like you know the cars and the houses because of course you're living your Tycoon life fantasy the other important thing is there's messenger where there's other like yeah like like the mysterious cat telling you that he will now give you more different companies or there was uh your mom that sometimes text you and if I understand correctly your mom is talking about the different games from thre plus portfolio about the lumber cat and Cat snck bar and like all these other things so she she she mentioned that and then like your secretary or like your other like CEOs so on so forth so the these kind of guys talk to from time to time and yeah the last feature of course I didn't update yet this is the yeah we talk about this one this is the collectible album of all the companies uh yeah definitely recommend watching just for the names and the shop is I would say pretty simple for now there's a lot of offers even in the main screen but the main one like like there's just one free gems kind of a tab which you can click
one day and then then second click leads to an offer wall if I get that right yeah yeah so otherwise we're there yeah I think that that that could be pretty much it from my side I guess Felix you can continue with the giant amount of AD stuff that's in the game yeah so I I've worked on a lot of idol games uh Idol Tycoon games particularly uh I worked I was the admon manager for about two years for idle in and basically there's a lot of featur I I recognize from that game as well but first of all really well done on the ad placements so let's just start by running through them uh because there's quite clever setup and I'm sure it contributes quite a lot to the overall Revenue uh the first uh if you close the app and open it again yob this is like the most important one because on all the idle Tycoon games that I played this is the most important one that gets the highest oped rate and that is the welcome back rewarded ad to double your earnings from when you were offline so you have to be insane if you
don't watch this ad every single time when you play when you play this game so you always start off uh every session pretty much with a revenue event and that's you know one rewarded impression right here you didn't get it yeah because I guess I open it too fast he he's on on the blue Stags or whatever so no I'll got it like it's pretty much eight times what you would get normally it's like not two times four it's eight times nice yeah that's like that's no-brainer that's no-brainer so they're always starting off with this placement very clever then usually yeah usually the second most popular ad placement after that is the lucky wheel which is on a six hour cool down if I'm not mistaken correct you can show it yeah yeah this one already I think it's a little bit longer eight8 eight or something yeah so pretty much how and then after that is also my favorite one the legendary chairman or cat chairman I forgot the name is yeah
right there so how I always start off by playing uh office cat is I go in and I watch My Double booster for offline earnings I basically do a spin of the lucky wheel and I hire a cat chairman for however long it is that he basically uh works so you're starting off every session with three rewarded uh Impressions no matter what and then that's when you start playing the game you forgot about Investments oh yeah they Investments oh yeah the the other no-brainer one because you can also do Investments where basically you can invest in your companies and then basically the next day you can come back and you get millions so it's four Impressions that you're always starting off a new session every day with right like 10 times more than the previous day yeah so so we're already at pretty high ones and now we get to the game play so we've had four Revenue events and now we get to the game play so when you're playing the game uh pretty much when you're moving and progressing you're also basically
collecting rewards so if you go into the rewards from um like what's it called the rewards yeah to-do list so yeah the to-do list one so here as you're unlocking rewards you're getting rewards but you can also double them if you're doing this so probably this is the one I watched the second most but you're most likely going to be yeah the mission one yeah the mission one where basically you're guided in the game and then always I double add here so it's five five Impressions already here right then uh when you're progressing and firing and adding new companies you're also able to yeah there we go the claim 2x skip everyone does it I do it all the time of course and then also when you're progressing with uh the office uh the company progresses and then you need to fire the company so you need to look for a new company and then you can either choose to pay uh or you can watch an ad if you can terminate yeah let me yeah
yeah we need to buy buy seats yeah now we're progressing there we go so free refresh and then then one for is a refresh to get better companies and then if you contract one and if you click on cat Health yeah here sign a contract or pay a brokerage fee right so pretty much the bigger the company the bigger the reward by the way this go like into 3 million exactly exactly yeah so you're pretty much already here by playing the game for about 10 15 minutes you're already getting to seven eight rewarded Impressions so usually idle Tycoon games have session lengths of about 18 to 25 minutes so probably the Imp on this game is around anywhere between 11 and 14 rewarded impressions for da I'm
suspecting is that I'm Sor you that please yeah uh you're probably showing about 11 to 15 rewarded Impressions per user per day so is that like your question is like one person um get to um see 11 times to um 15 times a day that's what is that is that the Impressions that people are opting into doing like watching Impressions yeah that's that's true um users get to see 13 to 15 times and those who didn't purchase you know like like the removal ad
[Music] purchase Oh and the rate of the people who watch the ad is eight 8% right 8% 8% wow yeah impressive 80% sorry I thought thought yeah so that's that's really high right so that means so if it's that high impression load that means probably that uh office cat is most likely from rewarded ads alone uh earning about 70 to 90,000 a day which would mean that you're earning about two to $2.5 million a month which is about 55 to 60% of overall revenues coming from ads on office you don't have to answer that you don't you don't to 60% but
yeah how did you know he like to answer the I know it's not question but I like to say something so yes please sure should go ahead oh so like as you what you said was like the revenue of the ads right from yeah yeah right so the at um revenue is 30% 30% oh interesting and the rest 70% is from IAP that means that I don't think I'm wrong with my calculation that means it's just earning more on the I AP side then sensor Tower might then we see yes but uh I I guess my just it blink
twice if the if you make more money on the re in up Revenue site than what we see in sensor to in yeah can you show us like what y yep yep yep so it says like 50,000 so I would say it's way more than what you see so the total if you see the total double up twice as what you see multiplayer is multiplayer so yeah always yeah nice thanks I'm glad my calculations weren't wrong then but I I think one interesting thing that I noticed is that if you set your phone to play in offline mode you cash three rewarded ads and I know it's quite hard to do that can you talk a little bit
about the limits of caching ads and how that is done offline well he never knew before he didn't know about it before he he got to know it like as you said it nice he told um the developers today and they were surprised as well a very good monetization manager today okay good all right uh perfect but but but the ad placements are really compelling uh did you ever consider added adding skiet as part of the game economy to basically make users pay to skip watching rewarded ads oh so we're at the moment um not considering
it um it's difficult to definitely um conclude that this is correct outcome so uh we got to know that similar products did not sell well in our previous game Lumber Camp okay so this could be because of the fact that lumbercat had uh had a permanent act removal option so um so we also have a game called AR Clinic oh so that game doesn't have a permanent
at removable product and as you mentioned the the yeah sorry so we tried selling skippit in this game but the sales were significantly lower compar compared to the permanent removal option so So Not only was um the total revenue figured uh lower but the overall purchase rate was also lower L it it also led us um to you know um conclude conclude this model and it might not work well in the idol Ty gen whole thing
[Music] and uh plus um I believe we could look at other games for reference um as [Music] well if I remember correctly idle B Tycoon by cbury games did not initially have um subscription model so when I checked I found that they were offer a subscription based ad removal option um the ads before previously um ads could only be skipped with skip it the [Music]
um so reflecting on how this might have impacted the the revenue I suspect it um you know maybe it didn't have a positive effect uh because the this game had uh had a high number of downloads but didn't it didn't make um good Revenue rankings so I think the um introduction of a subscription model was likely a response um to that issue another thing that I want to
mention um I've been like repeatedly um experimenting with different ways to expose the permanent at removal product so um so we've proven this approach in Lumber Kat and have applied it to um all our games uh so initially if the player if if the player doesn't purchase the ACT removal option we offer it at a fairly good discount with a you know like um
so it limit with the limited offer so so after this period the discounted product isn't shown for a while um actually it shows uh even less pricey compared to those that um the screen that you're seeing right now yeah it goes to $13 pH just show mine out but yeah this is this is the one it goes from 50 to 68% off yeah great so and then after some time we present the discount price again
but this time with a the tag saying the last chance so like uh the intention the idea is to um pursue those who missed the first opportunity pushing them to eventually make the purchase so that's the idea there's um another reason for to do this so as we uh check the um the metrics that this uh that was the product that had the most significant um impact on the repeat purchases in office
care so we found that over 70% of users who purchased they um you know the the ad removal the purchase those of AD removal option they additionally purchase another one later so they found it yes yeah 70% of the um of users who purchase those option again y so our our goal shouldn't be just to sell the um ad removal option at a high price but to ensure that um the users buy it purchase it actually so that that that leads to further
purchases so as a results not only did the revenue from the ad removal option increase but the total revenue of the game also Rose by more than 20% wow very clever strategy very clever yeah but the rewarded ads right they're very clever and they're very good it it's hard to get people to watch between 13 and 15 ads uh but that's not where office cats ends on the ads because they also have implemented a new placement or kind of a new way of thinking about it that basically every time you get a load screen when you're going between kind of uh yeah map locations you're basically shown a loading screen that loads an MRE I don't know if you can do that on your
phone on your yeah yeah yeah it's not on the pH on desktop Jakob I I saw it once on the desktop but never again yeah the one that I gave you the screenshot from let's see if I have it here so basically this is what it looks like so you're basically shown a product marketing meet meeting and then you're putting it in an m so what they're doing in a very clever way is they're monetizing the loading screen that you're shown at all times as well yes it's uh the the ecpm on mrex is quite low right so the contribution margin to revenue is still going to be quite low but uh I just uh yeah uh what's actually the revenue impact of the emx because uh I'm just a bit curious because I have no idea how to calculate that so we this in this morning that this
didn't actually um affect a lot on the revenue so on your screen Felix you you see the you see those ads but as so Mr Mr I think wouldn't get to see those so you would get different so like this is the this is what you um captured right yeah this is what I captured on the emulator when I was getting I think like first loading screen I saw this right so you get to see those ads and as you um play Mr yaku
you wouldn't get to see those different would different because we like today we removed it okay okay so after like adding Those ads we actually could get to see like uh the retention decreased W interesting so when it comes to the revenue the The Profit um it it probably made uh it was a pretty good Revenue it was a pretty good profit from it but
so like obviously without that Revenue will be better profit will be better that's why so do you understand yeah 100% no worries that's from the outside I think it's time to finally turn it over to uh user acquisition oh thank goodness you could probably like noticed already that I'm not good with numbers yeah yeah you're pretty good don't worry don't worry like this is going to be this is going to be the the the fun uh the fun part of the of the episode because my questions are very short and it's not a lot of them yeah I know I'm gonna show the ads in general so first of all I love the creatives that that
you are running at the moment and it's amazing I see a lot of inspiration from different games uh I see the I know Township a little bit that's what you you could mentioned like I Bank Tycoon some like let's call it like C cashm Idol millionaire or something my perfect hotel as well and Felix we're going to see also hooks very good ones uh uh there's a lot of playables a little bit of like um altered gameplay funny moments just great stuff and also a toilet theme and like what you mentioned yob like cats need to go to the toilet so we will start with that so let's let's check the the creatives right right away I'm going to share the screen and uh and you'll start with this so favorite poop team favorite poop team it's just like oh my God and um and we
see you see these like across the board in different games uh even one of our former uh employes now is running this uh poop theme uh which is which is amazing so I really I'm really glad to see like all of these uh especially uh the the playables and the and the video and everything the playable is like a lot of them literally I haven't seen so many playables uh for like one game you have static images and everything we can we can check another this is just like relaxed kind of trailer type of uh type of video which is great um the question is while I'm going to show all of the videos that I see um do you have like any like different strategy for let's say Western audience versus the East and then
Asia so we um primarily um create the content with um worldwide up regardless of country [Music] and but we do sometimes you know like base our content on specific National trends like popular memes or current issues um you know when they [Music] arise so like recently there was a trump issue so we TR to use use it like take an idea from it yeah so I
mean this is another very popular um Trend in in mobile games and I love the the translation the Cat theme in general because this is something I saw I think it was with like Hesh millionaire or something also like this like decision making with different cars and and yes salaries launches buildings and everything and this is great also regarding the the strategy for like West versus East um I worked with Lo complete and I I started working with 11 100% because like just to get creatives made for Western audience because sometimes it's very different what like what the the audience want to see and like how they react but here I can understand like this is widely appeal broadly appealing [Music] theme and what else uh I'm trying to
find the the hook in the meantime so how big is your uh UA and and creative team if you can share [Music] that UA petition consists of one person [Music] so the creative team including the collab rating members they are total of um eight people nice that's a very good good ratio uh the one UA person is um is it just like for all the games or only office C
it actually depends it's not like if someone's in charge of someone's in charge of something so it it's it depends on the situation okay question for Felix and yakob do you know where's this uh idea coming from yeah there our typical stacking thing with like building stuff that's from playx games yeah SL say games iteration but original from play yeah very cool and then we let's let's put this one on as well also like all of these how how many new creatives um are you producing like every month videos let's say
videos you see all the all the bus that is basically bus gem yeah exactly we actually haven't counted it it's not like we set a number to produce [Music] so you know it depends on the Creator Creator schedule actually like if the Creator takes longer time it takes long and it probably like they produce a lot so yeah that's about [Music] it it it's very obvious because we use those resources from the you know the game yeah yeah the game
itself and there are also situations of cases that like we create from the beginning so it's not like all there's always a set schedule a fixed schedule for it or you know like it's not it takes um some specific perod period of time okay Felix this is for you too bad you don't hear the the sound it's funny it's meow yes oh for those of you listening please go to YouTube and watch this creative please yeah yeah it's just like like this this was the first first creative I saw I was like oh this is going to be great it's going to be great so but yeah it's like we have
all the all the different like playables here as well it's uh it's insane it's insane I I really love the like the amount of of playables you have it's it's all all kind kind of up I mean M integral maybe I'm just going to load this thing maybe not we'll see but it's on the sensor to side but never mind anyway like this is this is great because like you have all all the all the different uh uh different playables different formats for all the channels so like nice mean basically different concepts on like resembles the game and and different parts of the the game as well so so then yeah okay so I'm I'm not going to play this anymore but yeah it's like honestly like the most labels that I've seen in uh in in our basically all the reviews that we've done and I see you
running quite a lot of a lot of channels as well but from the the channels I see it's mostly appin integral there Facebook Google as well I guess moloco right and um anything that I'm I'm missing in in the in the list that uh it's maybe geop specific I'm Facebook Facebook Google okay yeah that's in in order of scale okay yeah scale you wanted to repeat it no I got it I got it I got it I got it uh I because I didn't see Tik Tok in the in sensor T so it's it's it's good that you mentioned it nice okay as I mean appin makes of sense because you have 70% in up revenues 30% ads and Max 100 Med on Max as well so
yeah nice okay perfect so then uh so I put this uh like small small question at the end about the spend because I thought um originally you are spending around 40K per day but with all these like additional numbers from sensor tower that we just kind of dis discovered I would say the spend is somewhere between like let's say 50 to to 80,000 per day but you don't need to answer that but if if you if you want you can obviously because this is definitely looking very healthy from from the U standpoint 7K 70k 80k 70k to 80k 8K he answered nice because yeah I I I put
40 and then when you were talking were talking about the the revenues for Sensi time I changed it to 80 immediately because like it may like yes do multiplayer in action and like very good job very very good job uh also for one person very cool also we didn't talk about the the retention yet right guys and this is what I this is what we see in sensor to in comparison to all the other other games that I I put here is this kind of true sock or is it just like small sample size and you don't have that great day 60 redention because it's 10% let me just zoom this it's like straight line from day 30 to day 60 I mean yeah most probably it's just like not a lot of numbers yet but I would say 90 the straight line to 10%
yeah so do is it like what is the the retention if you can tell no need to say the number just say if if the numbers here are completely wrong or they're like somewhere there so he would like really wish okay that's enough he could say he could like give you a like perfect that would be amazing 35 perc percent 35% 35% and day seven day seven is uh uh 10 uh 13 13 13
okay t13 is uh five five okay 30 what I think is is a big factor of the retention as well is that the end cards that you have on your rewarded ads are set in the most aggressive setting so a lot of ads I see are between 45 to 70 seconds long so if you actually ask your network Partners to have better end cards that are less aggressive you should see your retention increase um can you um say that again like for yeah the rewarded ads uh that you show uh the end cards and the length of the creatives the ads uh they're the most aggressive setting sorry sorry know what end card here is oh uh basically
when you show a rewarded ad uh basically the length of the rewarded AD should be 30 seconds but the whole creative is sometimes 45 to 70 seconds long and you can ask your network Partners to make it only 30 seconds what we will do we will share this in our slack channel so you know what we mean because because I also I also sometimes does don't understand like what he means and then it's it's it's a lot of mess so don't worry yeah I will share it in the SL show I'll send an example for everyone to know like what uh what aggressive end card means because not not everybody knows uh what he is talking about always it's depending on the network not yourself that's the important information here yes but I think I think that's uh that's about it guys and uh that's it and we would like to yeah thank you for for coming on the PO uh it it was amazing
really thank you very much for coming it's uh thank you and thank you for sharing a lot of info doesn't happen usually that in that way so really really appreciate you you coming and for for everybody who was listening uh please um share the the podcast comment if you want join the the slack Channel we'll definitely have a discussion in in s about the episode and uh yeah um I guess until next time thank you very much guys again cheers thank you [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] he [Music]
