This collaboration integrates Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) into the series. It aims to broaden the game's competitive ecosystem.
The ESL FACEIT Group and Qualcomm Technologies have entered a partnership with MOONTON Games to integrate the mobile multiplayer online battle arena title, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), into the 2024 Snapdragon Pro Series. This collaboration aims to broaden the competitive ecosystem for the game, extending its reach into Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and North Africa, while simultaneously establishing a dedicated women’s league within Southeast Asia.
The initiative features a total prize pool of $780,000 USD for the 2024 season. As part of the agreement, MLBB has been designated as a Mobile Masters title for the third year of the Snapdragon Pro Series, offering up to $200,000 in prize money for top international competitors. Additionally, the newly formed women’s league for the Asia-Pacific and Japan regions will provide $30,000 in prize money, intended to foster professional pathways for female players.
This expansion complements a broader calendar of MLBB events, including the M6 World Championship and competitions hosted at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Snapdragon Pro Series, which is powered by Samsung Galaxy, continues to serve as a multi-title mobile esports platform, hosting tournaments for various other mobile games such as Call of Duty: Mobile, Brawl Stars, and Clash of Clans. The competitive season for MLBB is scheduled to commence in the Asia-Pacific region on April 8, 2024, with subsequent circuits planned for other international territories.
