Martin Dachselt, a founding figure and long-time co-CEO and co-managing director of Bayes Esports, has announced his departure from the company after an eight-year tenure. Dachselt, who was instrumental in the organization’s growth since its inception in 2019 as a joint venture between DOJO Madness and Sportradar, will transition into a role as a strategic advisor to ensure a continued connection with the firm.
During his leadership, Dachselt played a pivotal role in the development of several core technological products that defined the company’s market position, including the Bayes Odds Marketplace, BEDEX, and Bayes Highlights. These contributions were central to the company’s evolution into a significant player within the esports data industry.
Following this leadership change, CEO and Managing Director Amir Mirzaee will assume full responsibility for the company’s operations. Mirzaee will be supported by the existing executive team, including Chief Financial Officer Christopher Bohlmann and Chief Technology Officer Dr.-Ing. Notger Heinz. The transition marks a significant shift in the internal governance of the data-focused esports entity, though the company maintains a focus on its established trajectory in the competitive gaming sector.
