South Korean technology company NAVER has partnered with esports data platform GRID.
The South Korean technology company NAVER has entered a strategic partnership with the esports data platform GRID to integrate real-time League of Legends match data into the CHZZK livestreaming platform. Commencing on April 1, 2026, to coincide with the start of the LCK season, this collaboration aims to enhance the viewer experience by providing sophisticated, data-driven insights directly within the broadcast interface.
The integration features include a real-time win probability graph, early-game control metrics, and a comprehensive match timeline. These tools are designed to provide deeper analytical context for viewers, with the added benefit of being accessible to co-streamers, who play a significant role in the current esports broadcast ecosystem. While the initial rollout focuses on the LCK, the partnership includes plans to extend these data-enhanced broadcasts to major international events, such as the Mid-Season Invitational and the League of Legends World Championship, with a long-term objective of expanding coverage to additional global leagues.
This initiative builds upon GRID’s established position as a primary data provider in the competitive gaming sector. The company previously secured an exclusive data partnership with Riot Games in 2023 covering both League of Legends and VALORANT, and it has served as the exclusive data partner for major Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 events. By bringing this infrastructure to the CHZZK platform, the partnership reflects a broader industry trend toward integrating granular, real-time statistics to increase audience engagement and support the growing influence of independent co-streamers.
