This multiyear partnership creates an adaptive esports program. It aims to provide individuals with disabilities greater access to competitive gaming.
The United Spinal Association of Georgia has entered into a multiyear partnership with the Atlanta-based esports organization Ghost Gaming to launch an adaptive esports initiative titled Nerve Gaming. Supported by a grant from the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation, the program aims to provide individuals with disabilities greater access to the competitive gaming landscape, including team management, specialized coaching, and tournament infrastructure.
Nerve Gaming will focus on three primary competitive titles: Rocket League, Apex Legends, and Call of Duty: Warzone. Beyond professional competition, the program incorporates community-focused elements such as local game nights, content creation support, and opportunities for participants to test and provide feedback on emerging adaptive gaming technologies. These community services and coaching sessions will be facilitated through the Ghost Gaming Academy.
This collaboration reflects a broader industry effort to foster inclusivity within esports, ensuring that individuals with disabilities can participate in gaming, content creation, and competitive play. While the specific financial terms and the exact duration of the agreement remain undisclosed, the partnership represents a significant commitment to expanding the reach of esports in the Georgia region by integrating professional organizational resources with the needs of the disability community.
