This weekly video gaming series is a collaboration between Enthusiast Gaming and the National Football League. It aims to bridge professional sports and digital entertainment.
The National Football League and Enthusiast Gaming have announced the second season of their collaborative video gaming series, NFL Tuesday Night Gaming. Premiering on September 12, 2023, the weekly live show will be broadcast across Twitch, YouTube, and X. This partnership aims to bridge the gap between professional sports and digital entertainment by featuring a mix of prominent content creators and current or former NFL players.
The upcoming season will debut with a pre-launch event on September 5, hosted by rapper Quavo at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The competition will feature a variety of outdoor games involving notable personalities and athletes. Throughout the season, the series will integrate themed content aligned with league-wide community initiatives, including Latino Heritage Month, the Crucial Catch campaign in partnership with the American Cancer Society, and the Salute to Service program.
Beyond the entertainment value, the initiative incorporates an educational component by providing four students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities with three-week internships. These participants will engage in virtual learning sessions with production professionals and gain on-air experience at WePlay Studios in Los Angeles. By combining high-profile gaming talent with league-sanctioned social causes and professional development opportunities, the series seeks to expand the NFL’s reach within the gaming community.
