This marks a significant step in professionalizing the title’s esports ecosystem within the region. The publisher is aligning with diverse brands.
Moonton Games has secured its inaugural group of commercial partners for the newly established Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Pro League (MLBBPL) in China. This development marks a significant step in the professionalization of the title’s esports ecosystem within the region, as the publisher aligns with both endemic and non-endemic brands to support the league’s operational and competitive infrastructure.
The partnership roster features a diverse mix of companies, including Realme, which serves as the league’s strategic partner and official smartphone equipment provider. Other key collaborators include China Unicom, Durex, and China Minsheng Bank, all of which are designated as Chinese special partners. Additionally, KARNOX has been named the official gaming chair brand for the tournament. While the specific financial terms of these agreements remain undisclosed, the move signals strong corporate interest in the growth of the mobile esports sector in China.
The MLBBPL is structured into two distinct seasons, with the winning team of the first stage earning a qualification spot for the Mobile Masters MLBB Championship. This international event is scheduled to take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, from April 11–13, and is facilitated through a long-term collaboration between Qualcomm Technologies and the ESL FACEIT Group. By integrating the Chinese league into this broader global circuit, Moonton Games aims to solidify the competitive pathway for professional players in the region.
