BLAST Premier Teams With KICK for 2024

UK-based tournament operator BLAST has entered into a non-exclusive partnership with the streaming platform KICK to broadcast its Counter-Strike 2 competitive circuit for the remainder of 2024. This strategic collaboration aims to expand the reach of BLAST Premier events, which are now available across more than 150 territories and in 28 languages. While the financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the move provides fans with additional viewing options for the circuit's high-profile tournaments.

The partnership covers the remaining 2024 calendar, specifically including the Fall Groups, the Fall Showdown, the Fall Final in Copenhagen, and the upcoming World Final. By integrating KICK into its distribution network, BLAST continues to diversify its broadcast footprint for its primary esports properties, which also include titles such as Rainbow Six Siege, Dota 2, Rocket League, and Fortnite.

This development reflects a broader industry trend of tournament organizers seeking broader distribution channels to maximize audience engagement. By utilizing KICK as a supplementary platform, BLAST ensures that its Counter-Strike 2 content remains accessible to a global audience throughout the second half of the year. The deal underscores the ongoing efforts of major tournament operators to maintain competitive visibility and reach diverse viewer demographics through multi-platform streaming strategies.
