It is the second Counter-Strike 2 Major hosted by BLAST in 2025.
BLAST has secured a global sponsorship agreement with Dell-owned PC brand Alienware for the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major. This partnership designates Alienware as the official provider of PCs, laptops, and monitors for the Counter-Strike 2 tournament, which is scheduled to take place from June 19–22, 2025, at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, the collaboration highlights a strategic alignment between the tournament organizer and the hardware manufacturer.
As part of the agreement, Alienware will supply its 500Hz gaming monitors for use by the 32 competing teams. The sponsorship also includes extensive brand integration, featuring Alienware’s presence in physical and digital event assets, live broadcast placements, and various on-site activations. This event marks the second Counter-Strike Major of the year for BLAST, which features a total prize pool of $1.25 million USD distributed across three stages of competition.
The tournament has already reached sold-out status, reflecting strong demand for the event. The competition will host a diverse field of 32 professional teams, including prominent organizations such as Team Vitality, G2 Esports, FaZe Clan, and Team Liquid. By leveraging Alienware’s high-performance hardware and local Texas presence, the partnership aims to enhance the technical standards and fan experience of this major esports milestone.
