This tournament continues Alienware's commitment to North American collegiate esports. It will feature 24 universities competing in the title Marvel Rivals.
The Alienware Collegiate Clash is set to return for its second season in 2026, continuing the brand’s commitment to the North American collegiate esports landscape. The tournament will feature 24 universities, including several Alienware partner schools, competing in the title Marvel Rivals. This follows the 2025 inaugural championship, where Texas A&M University secured the top prize in Apex Legends.
The competition is structured into two phases: online qualifiers held in early March, followed by a LAN Final scheduled for April 11. The qualifiers will utilize a round-robin format to narrow the field to eight finalists, who will then compete in a double-elimination bracket at the Alienware Longhorn Esports Arena at the University of Texas at Austin. Prizes for the winning team include the Collegiate Clash trophy and Alienware laptops, while the runner-up team will receive Alienware Pro Series headsets.
The event is supported by a coalition of industry partners, including Intel, NetEase, Team Liquid, and Oversight Esports. By hosting this tournament, Alienware continues to integrate its hardware ecosystem into the collegiate competitive scene, providing a platform for top-tier university programs to showcase their talent on a national stage.
