Create free account[Applause] hi I'm joined by Aman from nus hi Aman how are you very good very excited to be here that's fantastic um could you tell us a little bit about who nus are and what you do sure uh so nordius are uh the makers of a very popular game uh on all platforms uh called top 11 uh it's a football management game that has been very successful um and we're based in five different cities all over the world and I am heading up their London Studio that we just opened yeah I've I heard about that at the conference today can you give us a bit more detail about sure uh so as you know kind of most of Nas's uh employees are based in Belgrade where we are developing top 11 as well as a pipeline of other games um and we wanted to really make a mark into uh London just primarily because of the talent over here um you know it's not only is it a little bit hard to get talent in in in Belgrade but uh London has a
fantastic po of talent and it's also very close to our partners uh so so we want to be in in the midst of all that does does the football culture in England play A Part as well uh not that much uh you know I I would say the London studio is going to be completely autonomous from from from the studio in Belgrade we're going to be developing our own games uh it's not necessarily going to be sports games it's something that uh the initial team will sit down together and and decide what we want to build oh fantastic and so how far are you into coming up for new ideas for games gu so we've uh we've just about got our office space finalized it's it's under construction we should be moving in uh by the end of the month um and we've put together a smallish team right now and we're kind of looking to scale hiring everyone from from game designers to developers to artists um so we're still kind of very early uh you know the people who are going to be joining us in the next 6 months are going to be instrumental in deciding the kind of games that we're going to make uh which geners we going to really Target um and
yeah so it's it's still kind of in the exciting exciting setting up phase right now it yeah it sounds really exciting to me it's the kind of thing that with a new year you always want to see sort of new success I mean what what are an audience's plans for 2015 aside from that is 20 is top 11 going to continue to push on sure yeah no so top 11 uh has a very big update coming up in the next uh two weeks uh it's going to be a completely redesigned game uh built in unity uh it looks fantastic and so uh that should be something that everyone should look forward to uh that's purely top 11 we have uh a pretty big team in Belgrade that is working on a a pipeline of different other games uh and expect at least one of them to to come out uh this year uh and at the same time you know I expect U us the London Studio to go into production with uh at least one game as well so uh it's an exciting year ahead now that sounds absolutely fantastic and it's just one last little question you've had Jose Mourinho as the face of top 11 should we expect to see more big name faces on nordest products
in the future yeah look you never know I I think uh we've kind of gone through a phase in Mobile gaming where uh you know IP in particular uh you know with with guys like Mourinho and and Kim Kardashian are pretty popular uh I think it really depends on the kind of game I think what Mourinho has given top 11 um is is the recognition you know especially in in in in in places where maybe football management is is not that big uh it's been great for user acquisition um and really as I said it really depends on the game designers the aers that what you know whether they feel a connection with a particular IP is necessary for for a game so we're obviously completely open to to to to those kind of um uh licenses but at the same time are are very happy to develop our own IP as well okay so it looks like some really interesting stuff's coming in 2015 thanks very much for joining us perfect thanks
Nordeus, the developer behind the successful football management title Top Eleven, has established a new studio in London to expand its global footprint and tap into a broader talent pool. While the company maintains a significant development presence in Belgrade, the London office is designed to operate with complete autonomy. This strategic move aims to leverage the city’s dense concentration of industry professionals and proximity to key business partners, facilitating growth beyond the company’s traditional sports-focused portfolio.
The London studio is currently in its early stages of development, with plans to scale its workforce by hiring game designers, developers, and artists. Rather than focusing exclusively on sports simulations, the team is tasked with defining its own creative direction and identifying new genres to pursue. This collaborative process is expected to shape the studio’s initial production pipeline, with the goal of launching at least one new title within the year.
Simultaneously, the company continues to invest in its core product, Top Eleven, which is undergoing a major redesign using the Unity engine to enhance its visual and technical performance. The broader organization remains committed to a diverse pipeline of games, balancing the development of original intellectual property with the potential for high-profile licensing deals. While celebrity partnerships, such as the collaboration with Jose Mourinho, have proven effective for user acquisition and brand recognition, future projects will prioritize design-led decisions to determine whether specific intellectual properties are necessary to support a game's success.
