Riot Games has officially named professional League of Legends player Jian “Uzi” Zihao as the second inductee into the League of Legends Hall of Legends. This recognition follows the inaugural induction of Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and highlights Uzi’s status as one of the most influential figures in the history of the esport. The selection was determined by an international panel of experts who provided an overwhelming number of votes in favor of his inclusion.
Uzi’s career, which spanned from his debut in the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) to his final professional appearance in August 2023, included tenures with prominent organizations such as Royal Never Give Up, Edward Gaming, and BiliBili Gaming. While he did not secure a World Championship title, his career accomplishments include winning the 2018 Mid-Season Invitational and multiple LPL titles, alongside earning over $553,000 in career prize money.
To commemorate the induction, Riot Games has scheduled an official ceremony in Shanghai, China, for June 6, 2025. Additionally, an in-game event beginning June 11 will feature a dedicated event pass and cosmetic items themed around his career. As part of the partnership with Mercedes-Benz, Uzi will receive a custom art piece and a personalized Mercedes-Benz G-Class vehicle. This induction underscores the continued efforts by Riot Games to formalize the legacy of its most impactful professional competitors on a global scale.
