The mobile gaming landscape in October 2019 was defined by the massive debut of Call of Duty: Mobile, which secured the top position in global downloads with approximately 146 million installs. The United States and India served as the primary markets for the title, accounting for 16 percent and 11 percent of its total volume, respectively. Mario Kart Tour followed as the second most installed game, generating 40.3 million downloads, with the U.S. and Brazil representing its largest user bases.
The top five most downloaded games for the month were rounded out by Sand Balls, PUBG Mobile, and Fun Race 3D. Beyond these leaders, the market saw significant activity from other titles, including Icing on the Cake with 18.3 million installs, Homescapes with 15.4 million, and My Talking Tom 2 with 12.4 million. While casual gaming titles maintained a dominant presence in the rankings, the success of Call of Duty: Mobile, alongside established hits like PUBG Mobile and Garena Free Fire, underscored a growing consumer appetite for core gaming experiences on mobile platforms.
